You guys are the greatest-it's not alway been that way here, but they did a great job of getting rid of the old, and bringing in RIGHT, CUSTOMER SERVICE EMPLOYEES! Especially like to thank Blanca, who, when I brought in my "daily" Amazon return, she advised me I had checked Whole Foods (owned by Amazon) as my return point. She asked if I had my phone, took it and cancelled my return to Whole, and re-did it to her store. SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO DO THAT-it's just how she's wired-she enjoyed doing it!!! We have used the UPS store for the past 15 years. It is essential to have one location for all your mail and packages when you live a mobile lifestyle. This store in Palmetto is our 3rd store we've used. This and the others have made sending mail all over easy and safe. We have lived in boats and RVs and had UPS ship our mail to Mexico, Hawaii and all over the US. If you consider your mail contains personal info, credit cards, tax documents and family letters, you realize how important sending mail to you can be. The UPS stores have done this without any problems at all. Not one in 15 years. They always seem to have excellent staff, as well. I definitely can recommend using the UPS stores. This store has a staff that is knowledgeable, trustworthy and friendly. Roslyn always knows my name when I call. That is the best. Thank you for all you've done!! read more

There have been multiple times that we have taken returns to this location. The staff has a 50% chance of rejecting the packaging, even when UPS just delivered the very same packaging. They are happy to sell you a box. The box that failed today was a box we actually signed for at the very same store a few days earlier. All I can say is be prepared for this franchise to make a demand you are not expecting. read more

I do a lot of my shopping on Amazon and frequently have returns so I'm in and out of the store often. Today I was there shipping a small book. The man made to move to get a box for the book when I pointed out that the sturdy envelope that it came in would work just fine. He asked if it had an adhesive closer and I said "no it doesn't but just a piece of tape on the end would do the trick." He sighed and said "That will be $1.00. " I said "$1.00 for a piece of tape?" and he replied "It will be $1.00 or I can sell you some tape and you can do it yourself". I was gobsmacked !! and as I reached for my return label I said "That's OK, there are other UPS stores and I'll just take it somewhere else." Another sigh and he replied "Suit yourself" As I was leaving I stopped and turned and in a firm voice said " You know that you have been very foolish. For $1.00 you have lost a customer. That's not a good business move especially when businesses are struggling".....His only response was "Well , that's up to you. Have a good day" I have found that so many times a business will shoot themselves in the foot by not giving good customer service and then often say "I just can't get a break" Now, if it would have gone like this. "I'd like to return this book. " "Let's see...I think that the envelope it came in will be good for the return and will save you a few pennies. I'll just tape up the end and put the new label over the old and you will be good to go."....He would have made a satisfied customer for life. How easy it is to make customers happy and how easy it is to drive someone away. It's truly sad.
