Jo Anne the owner of this business has a horrible, rude obnoxious attitude. She ran me off today refused to take care of me just because she felt like I was getting rude with her, but it was actually the other way around. She had a problem with everything. I did said she is a poor owner of this business. I went to the post office right after I left there and had no issues shipping what I was trying to ship and mailing what I was mailing, she needs to go home. Look in the mirror and figure out why she's got such a piss ass attitude. I've been to this UPS store a couple of times and the young men that have waited on me were very nice respectful happy and she was the exact opposite. I will never give her any more business and I hope you guys don't either she needs to learn. It's one thing that be in a poor attitude, but don't take it out on us. Don't leave a package after 5:30 PM thinking it will go out the next morning! The UPS pickup is once a day at 5:30 PM. If you miss the 5:30 PM pickup, your package won't make it to the UPS facility until after 7:00 PM the following evening! I sent a package that would normally take one day to arrive at destination and it took 6 because of the weekend! read more

Piss poor service. The young kid behind the counter never said hello, welcome to UPS store, my name is or anything - stood there with his hands in his pockets and I put the Amazon return on the counter and told him that I needed to send it back. He told me to go to the kiosk and to do it myself. I told him no HE was going to do it as that is what he is getting paid for. He said that Amazon says that I have to do it. Then he turned around and as he was walking away that he was refusing service to me. (All while NEVER taking his hands out of his pockets). Another associate assisted me since I could not see the screen info ( as I told the little round glassed kid with shit for personality), and I got the box supposedly sent to Amazon! I came in this evening as the store had swapped my shipping labels when they attached them to the boxes. So my return items went to the wrong store. I have my receipts but the manager didn't want to see them as he said I could open an investigation with UPS but would not send my packages to the right place. I had an experience with the manager, Joanne. They "don't have room" to receive Amazon packages and then refuse delivery, even though they have a contract with/Amazon as a pickup point. The Amazon site still shows them as a delivery point on my order online, with no other address given. Then they refused to look it up for me (track it) and said I could "try CVS" nearby. The man behind me in line had the same issue. She actually sent us both on a goose chase around town to try to find the packages SHE refused. The CVS who had our packages said that this UPS Store has a history of this behavior and that they have been reported in the past because they were causing the CVS to get inundated with packages that this UPS store refused. Terrible customer service, and I would imagine a breach of the contract that they have with Amazon. I'm sure UPS and Amazon corporate would just love that their customers are being jerked around like this. ‍ read more

25 Jan 21 - Well we finally found my medication & military papers. Floating about the US & Military mail system. All medication and mail was sent back because the owner (s) were miffed over my review in '20. ...Medication which DoD would not replace while it was floating about the BASE PO because the owner sent my medication and contracts back to sender and all during COVID!!! I recommend the UPS store on 23rd st. The staff at Thomas Dr is not much better as they cower under the owners HINT - hire more help and service will improve. Nice help. Unlike current employees trained by current inept 'owners.' read more

The employees at this location were not the friendliest and made it a little painful to get a notary. The person helping with the notary was overly critical of the documents and a little sharp with her comments. I took it that was just her personality and no need to argue. Ultimately, she notarized the docs and helped obtain a witness. The woman behind the counter, answering questions about the notary pricing, did not have the best customer service skills and was fairly cold. She gave the impression it is "take it or leave it" at that store. That may be true, but the experience was not like those at other locations. Inconsistent experience from one store to the next still tarnishes the brand. I would much prefer a warmer staff when paying so much for notary service. It was $10 for the first notary signature! read more

I am blessed to have found this UPS store to handle my mail, package delivery and printing services. Living on the oceanfront is not conducive to having your mail delivered to a mailbox! One night of rain and your mailbox is full of paper mush!! By using this facility for all our needs, we are never worried about ANYTHING! Kevin, Roland, Ann and the entire staff are kind, courteous and go above and beyond to provide quality customer service! They truly do care and even under stress are concerned first and foremost with customer satisfaction! I highly recommend anyone, whether visiting or a full time beach bum to stop by even if you just need to drop off your outgoing mail. read more

Wow. Worst experience getting something notarized in my life. Went to get a permit application notarized. Really simple, right? Print your name by applicant. Sign in their presence. They notarize that it's you signing the document. This idiot goes through the document, which is none of his business. Starts telling me what I have to fill out for the building department, again none of his business. Then wants to look up my company on SunBiz. Which is again, none of his business. Your job is simple. Where it says applicant, you verify it's me. Where it says signature, you notarize it's mine. What I do with any of it after that is NONE of your business. read more

This store was the second location where I attempted to obtain notary services. They advertised a AAA discount on a poster by cash register. When preparing to pay I pointed out their advertisement at which time employees advised that they didn't know why the discount sign was there and refused to honor their own advertised discount. Employees were also unfamiliar with the notary process. read more

I had four documents to be notarized. I was charged $25.; $5.0 for three documents and one document was $10. Same work for all of them. Next time I need a notary I will go elsewhere. read more

Pricing is disgraceful and gouging. I recently stopped there to have a verification paragraph notarized and faxed. I received a $16 bill from the cashier and thought she meant to charge $6. I was then told the notarization was $10. When I ask the girl how I was to know about that charge as pricing guide is available, she curtly said 'we don't have prices posted'. Notary service is customarily provided gratis by any realtor, bank, attorney, etc. I understand The UPS Store is a business but their parasitic pricing will keep me away. read more
