After being in this area for almost 3 years, I just recently discovered this shipping center a few…read moremonths ago. If it wasn't for Yelp, I would not have known about the store because the sign was kind of blocked by trees. It's tucked in a corner next to Family Dollar in the plaza. I have only been in the store twice to drop off USPS packages with pre-paid postages. The same gentleman, Marcus, helped me both of the times I was there. He scanned my packages and gave me a drop-off receipt. Service was quick and easy. The center also provides other shipping services such as FedEx and DHL. You can just go in there with what you want to mail and they will help you. There's packaging materials for sale, so you can just get everything done in one place if you are not worried about your budget or if you are in a time crunch. Inside the center, there are several computers on the side for anyone to use. That area is labeled the "Internet Cafe." I think they provide PO Box services too. Overall, good service, clean location, everything is organized. It's a really convenient one-stop-shop for several shipping options and helps me save a trip to the actual Post Office. And no headaches from the horrendous Miami traffic. By the way, no pets allowed. I had my friend's dog with me the second time, but Marcus was very kind and helped me while I waited outside the entrance door.

Almost half the items arrived broken and I IMMEDIATELY contacted Maria and Ricardo the owners, and was assured by them that UPS would be in touch with me. They never claimed at the time I contacted them that I had not requested full coverage. I regularly purchase items at auction and always purchase full coverage for my cost of the items. Many, many weeks went by without a word from UPS or Pakmail Miami and I contacted Maria and Ricardo again to inform that no one from UPS had contacted me (entirely on my own initiative I had sent a complete photographic record of the damages) They emailed me claiming FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME that I had only been covered by insurance for the minimum amount of $100, claiming falsely that I had wanted to save money on insurance and also that too much time had passed and UPS would not consider any claim. ***I NEVER RECEIVED ANY COMPENSATION THAT I WAS ENTITLED TO AS A RESULT OF WHAT I CONSIDER BLANTANT NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF PAKMAIL MIAMI. ***IT IS ALSO MY OPINION, if that isn't clear, THAT THE OWNERS OF PAKMAIL MIAMI ARE UNTRUSTWORTHY! ***All supporting emails are available for review.

I found out at about 8:15 p.m. on a Tuesday that I needed to pack and ship a package. I was leaving on business very early the next morning and would be gone for several days, so I needed to get this shipped that evening. Even the post offices that stay open late close by 6 so that was out, FedEx/Kinkos was out because I don't have an extra testicle, which is what it would've cost to ship this heavy box using FedEx, so my only hope was to find a store that ships packages via UPS or USPS. I remember seeing this place along US1 in the plaza where TGI Fridays and Pier 1 Imports are located. I boxed everything up and headed out, hoping they were open (I couldn't remember the name of the place and couldn't find them in the few Google searches I did, so I couldn't call ahead). I arrived just after 9, the "OPEN" sign was still lit, and the door was unlocked. I walked in, thinking that maybe they were supposed to close at 9. I saw 2 people (the owners I think) in the back, and a chain gate was pulled 1/2 way across the hallway between the front of the business and the area where the sales counter is located. I asked if they were still open and pointed toward the "OPEN" sign that was still lit up. The man looked up and said "We close at 7 on weekdays". I asked if he could help me out, and I nicely explained again that I stopped because his open sign was still on. He smiled and said "You can come in". The woman who was working there was friendly and took care of me quickly, and because of their kindness I could relax knowing that these things were shipped before I left the next morning. That's customer service at its best! As far as the store, they sell boxes, tape and packaging products, they can ship via UPS, USPS and FedEx and they also sell stamps. I also believe you can drop items off to them and they will package them up for you and ship them. The next time I need shipping supplies or need to ship items, I'll be coming here for sure; They've earned my business. Come to think of it, I think I'll also send them one of the "You've been Yelped" cards as well!

This is my local FEDEX shop, and it's handled all my shipping and printing needs. It's unfortunate…read morethat they have been reviewed poorly from previous visits. I've definitely had great experiences every time. From an employee walking me through their color printers after a 8,000 questions, to having someone open the door when bringing a package in. I've also had business cards printed here that I needed pretty quickly and with 1 original that I had, they were able to duplicate it and actually make it look better then the original. So I can honestly say that they've always taken care of all my needs. So much so, I have a UPS shop closer to me, but I prefer driving further in order to deal with the employees and location. The other benefit is that there's a Pinecrest bakery right next to them, so in the mood for some coffee, a pastry, sandwhich, or just a quick bite, you can knock your shipping, printing, labeling all out of the way while also getting something in your stomach.

The store is large and there are plenty of things to do for mailing and any paper needs.
