I am writing a second review to my other posting that the company responded to. I read their response and obviously it was full of inaccuracies since they never mentioned the fact that I came in personally to inquire about the status. When the owner was not there I left a note with one of their employees. The fact they stated they followed up is total BS. If they followed up I would not have authorized them to throw out the ones that were not broken ...hmmm. Obviously, this business is just as culpable as UPS since the original packaging was not done correctly. I know this as a fact since I have had China and other nice stemware shipped to me via UPS and nothing was broken eleven if the shipping container was damaged. Shawn who runs the place is always very forthcoming in whatever needs a customer has. I love the fact that you can redirect your deliveries to the store to pick them up at your convenience, to avoid a missed delivery when you're not home. Today I experienced the worst customer service of my life. I dropped off a package with a pre shipping package slip, the box was open and I asked for a packing slip and if they could tape it. The gentleman that helped me was nice and friendly, that wasn't the issue. He said he'd tape it up, gave me a tracking slip and I went on my way. It wasn't until I got home that I realized something was accidentally left in the box that wasn't supposed to be shipped. I immediately called the store and Sean, the apparent owner picked up. I told him my situation and he immediately gave me attitude and said "we don't ship open boxes..." Obviously, that's not what I was asking him... What I asked him is if he could check to see if the package was already picked up since I dropped it off at 3:19PM , I called at 5:12pm. He didn't take my tracking number to check, he just kept insisting it was gone and there was nothing he could do. I asked to speak to a supervisor, he said he was the supervisor. I asked to speak to a manager, he said he was the manager. I asked him who was above him, who's the owner, he said he was the owner. I then told him, I'm asking for your help and you're not doing anything to help me?! I said there's no reason to give me attitude, his response was, "well you keep asking the same thing." Maybe if you did your job and at least attempted to help me, your customer wouldn't be so worked up. I told him I'd be calling corporate, he said "go ahead..." Well I called corporate, asked them to track the package for me. They went on to tell me that it hasn't been picked up yet from the store, nothing's been scanned. So this guy Sean was just too damn lazy to go back and check to see the status of my package. UPS corporate advised I go back in the morning to see if it's been picked up. So I'll be there bright and early waiting for Sean to open his store and see if he'll help me then. Anyone could own a UPS store, but if this is the way this guy Sean treats his customers, he sure doesn't deserve to be a store owner... read more

The guy closing the shop was extremely rude and wouldn't take my pre-labeled package which literally takes seconds to take care of. (It's a packaged amazon return, it really doesn't take much) instead of spending the time to help me out, he's rather spent more time explaini--I'm sorry, yelling in my face why he wouldn't help, and said he would rather me give my box to the guy taking the boxes out (that was happening at the moment) and not give me receipt. Would you ever trust this guy with your deliveries who would rather you hand the deliver your boxes to the mail man instead of giving you the trusted service that he should do?? What a lazy ungrateful person... Never coming here again. No sense of humanity. Go to another UPS store and don't support this one. read more

Wish I could give zero rating to this store. They lost my package containing my daughter's passport that I had to sent through mail for renewal. This is very stressful for us as we had to file a police report for lost passport and with great difficulty ups agreed to pay $100 for all the trouble we went through. Such is the service of ups. Warning do not go here for your printing needs I brought a engineered drawings that was on a flash drive to 3D print SEAN printed my product which came out very poorly and was not functioning and ARGUED with me saying the ENGiNEERS don't know what they are doing keep in mind this is a ups store and they are telling me certified engineers don't know what they are doing And that they know more than engineers I left a voicemail and SEAN did not call me back I requested a refund which SEAN Argued with me and said no even after I said I would forward him the engineers email saying the plans were right I would not recommend this place if it were the last printing place on earth with the only printer left on earth not only that SEAN and his staff are very RUDE I AM VERY UNHAPPY read more

I am a long time customer. The male owner has always been very nice and helpful. Today I went in and an older woman was at the counter. I explained to her that I had an Amazon return, but I was not familiar with the process. She rudely started to chastise me for not having the package taped up. I would have gladly paid for a role of tape. She was extremely condescending and rude, and talked to me as if I was a child. I will never patronize this business again. I guess she is ok with loosing a long time customer over a piece of tape. It was really a disgusting experience to have another person speak to me the way she did. I just got back from having my fingerprints done here for a teaching credential. The lone Persian owner dude this evening was very terse and rude. It started where he told me the price after fingerprinting me, i.e. $69. I told him you told me it was $18 on the telephone 15 minutes ago. Then he said he never talked to me on the phone. But when I came in the shop, I point blank told him I just talked to him a on the telephone and he acknowledged and when ahead did my fingerprints. If he didn't know me, why didn't he tell me the price up front? It ain't no postage stamps I was buying! Well, I argued and he finally told me I must have talked to someone else at another UPS store. I asked him are there others stores on UPS on Santa Rita Road. He said there are 3 others. He lied! I checked the address and phone later, it was his store I called. First this shifty guy tells me a price on the telephone ($18) and then after the deed, he tells me his fee is $20 and $49 is the agency fee he has to collect for DOJ and FBI. Never mentioned the $49, which think is reasonable. (I guess it's like getting a smog check for your car - you've got to ask for the out-the-door price). Point is the weasel suckered me with a low-ball price and then told me he never spoke to me (like there is another UPS store guy with a Farsi accent on Santa Rita Road), and then he sprung the other agency fees on me. Puzzled and dazed, I quietly paid and left. He just turned away and give me the backhanded brush off. What a rug peddler. By the way, he was rough in man-handling my fingers- probably how he processed all dissident during his time at SAVAK. read more

Horrible customer service-I needed a piece of tape to send a package and he charges $1.50 to tape a box. He readily admitted that the tape only cost .5 cents but that he is not providing anything without charging for it. This is the first time that I experienced such low life approach to doing business in a UPS store. It's not the cost but the principle of nickel and diming the customers. Don't be fooled by the manager there. Boyfriend and I tried to ship a package on Tuesday night before they closed. The guy said he'd have it delivered there by Thursday. Got a receipt with a tracking number and confirmation. Friday comes and absolutely no update on the movement of the package. It still had the update that the shipping label had been created. So, I called to file a complaint. The guy emails me back a very condescending letter stating that he had to "repackage" the item "because of the value" and gave me a new tracking number. Also, he told me that next time I call to ask questions, to make sure I ask the "right ones," and say "shipped a package" instead of "dropped off a package." Like I'm supposed to know that's the lingo. I personally don't feel comfortable with the fact that he took it upon himself to repackage our package without notifying my boyfriend first. Just a heads up. We're probably not going to come back to this particular store. read more

Too bad they do not have a "No Star" button, I would have used it on this location What a terrible store. I have a UPS account where I pre-print my labels and attached them to what ever I am shipping. Of all of the places that I dropped off my packages this is the ONLY store that REQUIRES me to take a receipt. The owner said it was for my protection in case he loses my shipment. What the heck, is this a problem at this store? I do not want a paper receipt, I do not need a paper receipt, nor do not want to waste paper for something that I have no use for. When I drop off any package I stay there until they scan all of my packages. I then get email notification within minutes of dropping off my package on my UPS online service. I repeatedly tried to explain this to the Persian owner/manager but he is extremely argumentative. You either take a receipt or you cannot drop your packages off at this store. My recommendation is if you want personalize service you need go to another UPS store or better yet ship shipping via FedEx where you do not have to take a receipt read more

The owner of this store delivers excellent customer service - he is always on top of every detail, goes the extra mile to help his customers and is so organized! All of the staff at this UPS site is excellent. The staff is always looking out on how they can save their customers money with their shipping and very friendly. I have never received such unprofessional service as I did from the owner of this store. Immediately upon calling to find out information on the package the person on the phone was rude and irritated because I didn't understand how the UPS system worked. He yelled at me, said he doesn't know how it works either and I would need to call them to find out why it told me it was in a different location and was now being returned. Also told me that my package was in his store but because he had scanned it I ouldnt come pick it up. Then he promptly hung up on me. To the owner, this is not how you run a business, this is not how you treat customers, this is not how you have success in a field where there is a ton of competition. Ok I needed something notarized. I called the store and was told that they close in 15 minutes. I jump in my truck fly down there .. Get my documents prepared and realize I forgot my wallet as a flew out of the office. I'm in trouble .... So I thought ... The owner was patient enough to allow my office to fax my license over to begin the process of notarizing . As he began, knowing I was in a hurry.. I asked him to forget about it because I didn't have money or my credit cards on me.. His response.... Don't worry about it... Let's get you taken care of...I know you really need this... Michael was the most helpful individual I've encountered in a while. He had answers to literally every question. I came in for livescans and he was extremely efficient. And it was rejected by the doj due to "bad quality" I showed the weird guy at the counter the rejection letter and he would not do another scan for free. I've been in this store a few times and the employees have been helpful. However, I just went in and witnessed an employee screaming at an elderly woman. There was some kind of a disagreement over copies she had them make. I don't care if she was 100% wrong, completely miscommunicated what she wanted, or was a pain in the ass. Screaming at an elderly disabled woman, swearing not so under your breath at her, and yelling you hope she never comes back is not cool. Made that known and clearly the other employee helping me, and next customer the screamer helped, agreed by the faces they were making. Be kind and have patience, especially with old people! Not sure if the man was having a bad day or if this elderly woman was an especially challenging customer, but screaming at her that was was not appropriate. read more

I needed to ship a package and came here this morning at 9am, because of Frank L's review as he said he was able to use the 10% off coupon with yelp check-in. When it was time to pay for the shipping, I showed the clerk the yelp checkin coupon from my phone and it clearly states the correct UPS Store location and address and the yelp checkin coupon, and he said he couldn't give me the 10% off and could only do 5%!! He claimed his manager wouldn't allow it, but if he can give me 5, why can't he do the 10? Doesn't make sense. I even showed him Frank L's review that says he used the coupon, and he shrugged his shoulders and basically said I could ship it from somewhere else if I wanted. read more

He was incredibly professional efficient and courteous. I also had a package to send out for a friend who had sent me a shipping label and he walked me through the process of logging in to their computer to access and print the shipping label that had been sent to me. I had the worst experience at this location. I had the unfortunate experience dealing with Shawn the store owner. I came into the Ups store and had several packages and the store had a mini rush and Shawn got overwhelmed and lost my package and double scanned one package. Shawn scanned all my packages and when I was about to leave he told me to hold on because he wasn't able to locate one of the packages. He had me in the store for 45 mins while he had all of his employees looking for my package he scanned. He flat out said to me that you didn't bring this package in the store. I was not sure how he was able to come to this conclusion. He provided me a Ups drop off receipt that showed my tracking number. I also had my url code that he had scanned to do the return and still he had the audacity to say that I did not bring the package into the store. I asked him to look at the surveillance cameras so that way he can see that I did bring the package in. He said he wouldn't and that I was lying. He started to get loud and he was using foul language and I was threatened by his abusive in front of other customer's in the store. I had no other option but to call the police. After I called the police they instructed me to go outside and wait for them and stay away from Shawn. I did exactly what the police told me. I went outside and waited for them and I have a video of him coming outside being nasty and aggressive and I flat out told him that I didn't want to talk to him because of his behavior. He then walked away yelling and screaming and gave me the finger. I would not recommend anyone in the local area to deal with him or this location. Times are difficult these days with COVID-19 and I all I wanted to do was to drop off my packages and be on my way. I contacted Ups head office and they had told me that Ups would take action in there own way. If there was a option to upload the video I made at the store I would to show hi behavior. Also I would give a -5 star rating on the level of customer service and experience.
