I have been so happy and satisfied with my UPS Store. They are so helpful and pleasant every time I go in there. All of my packages get to their destination in perfect condition and in the appropriate time promised. They wait on me quickly and efficiently. So, service is great. I rarely write reviews but thought I would share my experience. I went in to purchase boxes and inquired if they sold bubble wrap and pointed to a used roll as an example of what I was looking for. The woman said "I'll give that to you". I wasn't expecting for her to give it to me and was expecting to pay. My total for 4 boxes and wrap came to $89. I was surprised so I asked how much the boxes were and and then I said how much is the wrap. She said $59 and gave me an explanation of price per sheet. It was more than half used and a full roll on Amazon is no more than $29 (and that's a generous price). I was so surprised and in a hurry that I just paid and left. I know I should have gone back in and returned but honestly was so turned off by the entire interaction and price. Should you go here be sure to ask pricing in advance! read more

We've been going to this location for years and just as a heads up- this store just changed owners a few months back, now has new management, and everyone is absolutely wonderful! Great place to take your packages for shipment. They are always friendly helpful and courteous. Usually plenty of staff is there to help during the busy Christmas season. They will even accept shipments fir USPS pickup for $1. read more

Went to this UPS store to send back some tennis shoes that didn't fit. The box needed one messily piece of tape stretched across the box. They charged me a dollar to stretch one piece of tape across it. It's a shoe box. Did I mention they charged me a dollar for one piece of tape stretched across the front if a shoebox. I'm pretty sure they are in the business of sending items from place to place. Really?? A dollar? Whatever. Never again read more

Terrible customer service. They don't even let you know they tried to deliver a package. They just send it back. Don't use!

Employee was unnecessarily curt with me. He charged me a dollar for a piece of tape and I placed it on the counter. He stared at me until I picked up the dollar and handed it to him. He then went to lean on the back counter, leaving my open package there. I had to ask him to seal the package in front of me and stick the label on correctly. Managed by the rudest individuals who are consistently looking for any reason to charge people unfairly, making up rules that you have to spend $20 to use a credit card, speaking tersely to senior citizens, and just generally remaining unpleasant and unbearable. I actually drive 10 extra min to Rockville to avoid this location. Not sure how they've been able to maintain a franchise all this time. read more

Wow look at all the one star reviews for this location! I also had a horrible experience in the store today as well. I came in with 8 Amazon returns all boxed up, labeled, taped and ready to go. Some new guy with a big belly and bald head walked up to me in line with an iPad and said "this will take too long, you can wait for them up front" then he just walked away from me and helped the lady behind me. First come first serve it should be. When I finally got up to the front Olanzo helped me and was almost as rude as the other guy. I asked him for the name of the manager and he said "I don't know" I asked him what was the other guys name and he said "I don't know". There have been several complaints about Olanzo on here. How does he still have a job? This is the worst UPS store location, I will drive further just to NEVER go in here again. The owner needs to do a whole staffing overhaul here, if he/she even cares. Believe all the bad reviews and drive to another location. *****reply to the "owner". Please don't make up lies. All your One star reviews clearly confirm my experience in your store is the same as others. The common denominator is your employees provide poor/rude customer service. They seem to make up policies and charges on a whim, with nothing posted about things they charge for. One employee says there's a charge to hold a USPS box overnight; another, a different day says there's a charge for a USPS box of a certain size but not other sizes; another, a different day takes the USPS box without charging anything. Customers' treatment and how they are charged depends on the employee. It would be great to have clear policies on charges posted rather than take your chances when you walk in the door. read more

Went to drop off a return in the original box. It needed literally 6 inches of tape. The clueless clerk says "I'm going to have to charge you for the tape ". The other dopey sidekick chimes in "tape isn't free you know " They charged me a dollar when if either of them had any sense they would have said we're not going to charge you for such a small amount. read more

Guy here tried to scam me by trying to charge me for packaging my Amazon returns. Took 4 amazon returns here that clearly said "No Box, No Label Needed". I've done this before with no problems but the white guy working at this location today tried to scam me saying he was going to have to charge me to box up my Amazon returns and he'd have to box them individually since I had 4 scan codes. Def didn't sound right as they usually scan the code, stick a sticker on the item and throw it in a shipment bag. This guy was trying to charge me out of my pocket to box up 4 items to return to Amazon. Def trying to rip me off since scan code clearly said No Box No Label Needed. I asked the guy about the No Box No Label on the scan code and he claimed Amazon lied about that. So instead of letting the guy screw me out of my money or arguing with him, I picked up my returns and went to a different UPS Store. Got to another UPS store in Rockville and a nice honest lady took my Amazon returns no problem and processed them like they usually do. I got my printed out shipment receipt and didn't have to pay a dime. I guess being located in an affluent area, they think they can rip us off and we won't mind. read more
