I went here to have a Canadian passport photo taken. The employee said that they were knowledgeable regarding the photo specifications. The photo was rejected by the Canadian passport agency. I returned 6 weeks after the initial photo was taken, and, once again was assured that they knew what they were doing. Another 6 weeks go by, and guess what. The second photo has now also been rejected. This has cost me not only months, but also US Postal tracking that costs $28 each time I mail the application. The man and woman who run this store are super RUDE. The woman raised her voice at me in a condescending tone because I set my package on the scale. Then, the next time I was there I tried to hand my small package to her and she says "no, put it on the scale." Make up your mind, woman! I'm not a damn mind reader. I won't return to this location again. I will make the drive to Tacoma where they are much friendlier, even though it is inconvenient. Oh and if you do decide to go into the lion's den, don't expect a greeting with a smile, or a thank you when you leave. Owner of this UPS store, yes I say owner this is not a franchise, is incredibly rude, 0 customer support. The store location is incredibly hard to access, no ramp for carts to carry in large packages, the doors are pull only. The owner will stand at the counter and watch multiple customers struggle to bring packages through the door. Never an offer to help and a very BIG attitude. Had a fellow customer offer to help which visibly obviously made him mad. I ship large boxes of training equipment on a regular basis, I'm sure he has made thousands of dollars over the years shipping these boxes to and from the company & customers I work with. Today is the last day! I will make the drive up the hill to the UPS store on South hill where the employees always offer to help, are never rude ,not once! Store is easily accessible! " Push" doors! This is the absolute worst UPS store I've ever been to, and literally one of the most horrific encounters I've ever had with an individual. I won't sugarcoat it. The owner is rude, confrontational and aggressive! I've never seen anything like it. My wine subscription was rerouted here awhile back (unsure why as I was home both times when the attempted deliveries took place). Not a big deal, but I was unable to pick it up at the time. My daughters live 4 minutes from this location so I asked them to grab it for me (both over 21+) and even provided them with my drivers license. I also called UPS, and they told me the parcel was undeliverable and would be rerouted to this specific store. They gave me the info I needed to allow my daughters to pick up my package and made notes to the account. Long story short (but not really), the owner refused to turn over the package to my daughters so they walked out of the building and called me right away. I asked them if they would FaceTime me so I could talk to him, but they begged me not to make them go back inside as he had been extremely argumentative and unpleasant to deal with. My daughters don't like even the slightest bit of awkwardness or confrontation, so I chalked it up to them just being overly dramatic and figured I'd do it myself the next day. So the next day arrives, and I make the trip over to this location. The owner's son was at the counter and assisted me with retrieving my package. While he was scanning the box I tried to make light conversation with him and assumed it would be the appropriate time to ask why my daughters were unable to pick up the package for me the day before. I was hoping to find out what we needed to do to make for an easier transaction in the future, but he was very quiet and seemed not to know how to answer me but did state that he didn't know why they weren't able to. I then just assumed that it was because of the contents inside the box. Mind you, I was not rude or impolite or nagging in any way while speaking to the young man. That's just not my MO. I don't like upsetting people and am a firm believer of treating others the way you'd like to be treated. Guys, I'm that mom that invites all the kids from my son's football team to his birthday party (including the kid that STOLE expensive underwear from him in our own home) because I don't want anyone to feel left out. Lol! Anyway, his dad (the owner) overheard our conversation, proceeded to grab a laminated flyer of some sort, waved it in my face while poking at it, and claimed that the only person that could pick up a package was the person named on it (fyi it does not state this on the flyer he was flapping around in my face). I was taken aback and told him that on the UPS website it lists the steps to take to allow another person to pick up for you. He then started yelling, "WHERE?! WHERE?!" so I pulled up the link to the info that he apparently wanted to see on my phone and tried to show it him, but he neglected to even take a glimpse at it and continued shouting into thin air, "WHERE?! WHERE?!" The man was so hostile that I asked what his and his son's names were so I could have all the info I needed to report his location to UPS, but he began screaming at his son not to tell me (although the young man was able to state that he was the son and that his name was (maybe) Caleb). This grown man's behavior was so incredibly ridiculous and childish that it was laughable...so that's exactly what I did. I laughed at him and asked why he even bothered asking where I saw the info if he had no intention of even looking at it and why his policies were different from UPS. He was obviously ticked off by my uncontrollable giggling that he literally told me to SHUT UP over and over again, which then lead to a major screaming and cussing match in front of another customer and his own son (who wouldn't even so much as glance at his father; it felt as if this was pretty much routine behavior that he was witnessing). The whole encounter was so uncomfortable and completely asinine! All he had to do was answer a simple question. At the start of this interaction I'd assumed that maybe there was just a language barrier. My mother is 100% Asian and sometimes has a hard time translating her thoughts into English so she uses improper words or hand gestures and whatnot (hence the man poking and waving the laminated flyer in my face)...but after witnessing his temper tantrum it's very clear that this guy is just a major narcissist and makes up his own rules as he goes. His demeanor toward costumers is dreadful...absolutely frightening! He is an uncooperative NIGHTMARE and a HUGE embarrassment to the UPS name. The owner of this establishment has no regard for common, human decency and should be ashamed of his conduct. I get having a bad day, but take that attitude elsewhere. Very poor customer service by Asian older guy. He never acknowledged me as I stood there for at 10 minutes. He then proceeded to speak to the next customer who walked in at least 10 minutes after me, of course of a different race and skin color. This was disturbing and rude. The previous owner of this store was amazing. Ever since it changed ownership it has been a nightmare. The older man, who I am assuming is the owner, is probably the rudest person I have ever had to deal with in a customer service situation. I waited 2 full days for a pickup. one day I had to leave for an hour and they stopped by. called UPS and asked if they would re pickup and they said yes provably around the same time. I waited from 8:00 am till 8:00 pm when I went to bed. they stopped by at 9:00 pm and didn't ring the bell so they left without package. I thought they closed at 8:00. I finally gave up and asked client to send label because I wasn't going to sit armound for another full day. they don't give you a window of time. they feel your time is not important. My husband and I have two different last names and this store would not let me pick up a package under his name despite having all of the information (address, tracking, etc) and UPS having a policy that allows other people to pick up packages. Apparently this store is franchised and they don't follow corporate guidelines. Surprise! UPS Store and UPS are not the same entities. If I could give a negative star it would be a minus 5. My husband went in not quite knowing what to do. When he was called to the counter, my husband stated he didn't know what to do with the label so the older pulled out the label and slapped it down on the counter along with the pin and walked away, and didn't explain what to do. My husband finally figured it out. Then the older man (very rudely) said next time to my husband that he need to tape this box up. I came here to this UPS Store and they had everything I needed, the tape, the tape-gun, the right size box AND they taped it all for me! Five boxes, no questions asked. Customer service is definitely lacking 50% of the time. The girl that's normally there acts as if she doesn't want to be there but forces herself to talk to the people who walk through the door. The other girl that works there though (& I've only seen her a handful of times) is super friendly, bubbly personality & has a smile on her face. I only go here to make deposits for USAA, but it's usually on a weekly basis. I've never had a negative experience but they don't "wow" me by any means. You'd think that with someone you see on a regular basis you'd become a little more friendly towards, but that's not the case. read more

I had my ID, tracking number, address and my business name and he still wouldn't let me have my package. He made me go home and get my business license to "prove" I was who I said I was. I went into return my Comcast equipment and everything started out nice, the Asian man greeted me nicely then scanned all of the equipment and gave me the receipt....I brought the equipment in with a box I needed for future shipping so I asked for the box back and then he went over, seemingly upset for some reason, then dumped my equipment on the concrete floor from about 3' high then gave back my box....at the time I was just flabbergasted and did not say anything but the more I thought about it after I left the madder I got....he could have damaged my equipment and I will be charged for it not him....this should never have been done and I am very upset and will not go back to this location again! read more

Had these guys package and ship a Printer worth over 3 thousand, then they said they could only insure it for a maximum of a thousand. Anyway after a week long trip from Washington St to California the Machine was destroyed, due to this store's obvious negligence. The Printer was around 70lbs with no packing foam and maybe a single layer of bubble wrap, the box was pieced together from multiple boxes and after shipping was completely ripped open. I've got detailed photos of what the buyer got left and it wasn't pretty, the printer was upside-down with the lid ripped off and every corner of the machine bashed in. So yeah if you wanna lose a bunch of your money go ahead and use these guys. read more

I had to get a package to Arizona so a family could take it to my son who is in a remote area of Mendoza Argentina. I paid the ridiculous amount of $166.16 to ship over night due to the post office couldn't get it there in time. This was clothing for my son's Christmas and gifts for the people in Argentina who have nothing. They lost the package!!!! Now my son who has taped shoes and holes in his clothing because he has given away to others more in need. Won't have a Christmas. I'm heartbroken that the package I saved up all year for won't be there for him. read more

Outrageously high prices to ship and pack! I brought in a super lightweight plastic clock that weighed less than the box and was charged almost $40!! That was after being told it was $23. When I went to sign for it I asked why it said $38, she said oh...I added the box and packing material. Would have been nice to know that was the total before hand, I would have gone elsewhere. There is no way a 2" high clock requires an 18" deep box. read more

I called in they said it was on the truck. 1 hour later someone else called and said there was no truck scheduled in my area today and it was still in the Fifi, Wa. Center.
