Customer service is always on purpose with their communication when I'm here at the store and over the phone.

My daughter's went to deliver a large size box to shipped. Workers just standing around and offering no help. My daughter's were totally ignore. My daughter ask a question only for employee to walk away. A fee was charge over $6. to print a label. I have some people reviews who have complain about the same. read more

If you go in then you'll get some help. If you try to email them and ask simple questions about printing on and paper weight, they ghost you. They are also not cheap. I found the local Staples in Menlo Park to be much better. When you're trying to help a local shop, but they can't respond to emails encouraged me to look elsewhere. Sad read more

I go to the UPS store a lot for dropping off Amazon returns. Usually a seamless process! Sometimes the lines are a little long but they usually move fast. Just have your return codes + items ready to scan and the clerks are pretty quick. They do sell mailing boxes here but I find them to be very expensive compared to other stores. A 24x24x24 box was actually $20. I found a similarly sized (actually slightly bigger) box for $10 and one slightly smaller for $3 at another store. I recommend checking other stores like UHaul, Home Depot etc. if price is an issue. read more

They have the worst customer service possible. Very lazy workers who keep trying to push to use self service while the workers stand around and chat on the phone or do nothing. They absolutely are worthless. The workers move incredibly slow and lack tact. They power trip and speak very rudely to customers waiting in line. It's amazing they continue to be in business. Passport photo prints quality is very poor (yellowish with blown out highlights). Lighting : Strong directional light coming from the door precludes even lighting and creates weird shadows. Printing (They do not offer to reprint and don't seam to calibrate the printer or really care) at $25 per two photos. Resolution is not the great either.... Very Expensive for the quality you get. I'm surprised by the low reviews for this establishment. My experience has been nothing but pleasant each time I've been here. It's located in the Woodside Plaza shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. There's also a handful of 30min parking spots right in front of UPS in case all the other spots are taken up by the near by restaurant customers. Each time I've been there, the customer service has been professional and friendly, they answer all my questions, and everything I need is taken care of in a timely fashion. I'm also a huge fan of the new Amazon UPS Drop-Off system. I brought in my items (often-times not packed up), present my QR code on my phone, it gets scanned, and I'm done. I was probably in there for no more than 20 seconds total for 2 return items. They take care of the packaging, labeling, and shipping for you. Granted, the pricing for shipping things can be quite steep. I recently shipped a laptop to the East Coast and it cost me $160 for them to package and ship it with 2-day delivery. Granted, that's corporate setting the prices, and not the store itself, so I do not base my review on that piece. However, the attendant was very clear and transparent on how much each option costed and checked with me if I was okay with each price and timeline so that I was happy with what I was paying for, instead of finding out after the fact how much this would cost me at the end. This location is super convenient as I live across the street, but is always under staffed. The staff is friendly and always willing to help, but more times than not the computer is down, or something isn't working. If you have to go to just drop something off, it's great. If you need to get something notarized and there is no line, again it's great! But if it's understaffed and there is a line you'll be there for quite some time. I have a love hate relationship with this location, but will continue to go bc it's convenient and again the staff is friendly. read more

Manager Michelle is a treasure. One of the owners is not. Ups charges $6 for the guy to make a 10-second butt plant at the computer and print an email and you pay for the print in addition. RIP OFF. Michelle had told me that box holders don't pay the computer fee. But the guy charged me anyway. He takes no personal responsibility. When he told me to tell Michelle to charge that fee, I said "that's your job." read more

I had a pair of speakers packed and shipped from store 4133 over three months ago. They arrived poorly packed, and damaged. I have sent multiple pictures, dozens of emails, and made dozens of calls. Thus far I have been reimbursed for less than the cost of shipping, and none of the insured amount. UPS picked up one of the speakers over a month ago. This UPS store has not responded to my last two emails. I am left with one broken speaker here, and have not been reimbursed fully for the insured speakers. I'm at my wits end. Stephen read more

I've been to every UPS store in the Peninsula at some point and this one is easily the worst. This place always has new employees who clearly don't know the real ins and outs about packing and shipping. The last straw for me was my most recent visit, when an employee said he couldn't pack/ship something for me unless I showed my ID, even though my information is already saved in their shipping system from hundreds of previous transactions. He told me "it's a new policy" when I know for a fact that no other UPS stores require ID to be shown. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. Go to FedEx office read more

Contacted them in advance to understand the notary's schedule. Arranged my workday and a baby sitter around the communicated schedule so my wife and I could get some important documents. I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but I had a very uncomfortable experience at the store today. I came in with a return with UPS scan codes and other types of returns. I let other customers go in front of me while I organized my materials if it wasn't ready to go, I was kind and apologetic for any inconvenience and I was understanding it was a bit of a pain. The associate was friendly and kind with every other customer but spoke to me in a dismissive and annoyed tone, huffing and puffing and rolling his eyes. This UPS Store needs to retrain their employees. I've came here multiple occasions and been helped by three different people who's attitude needs to change and be more upbeat and positive or they need to find a new job if they don't like it there. The first encounter I had was returning a Amazon return and it looked like it was a young girl she was nice, but you can tell she was being trained by this moron, I guess since I had put on my Amazon return "customer return label" they weren't willing to change it, but charge me nearly $20 for another box, I was ok with the charge but the guy who's a manager with a beard and spikey hair was an asshole, having a huge sigh like I inconvenienced him, there was no line behind me either. My second time was I needed to return another item to Amazon, this time it's a younger Latino kid with a goatee and glasses, he was helping out a customer maybe for like ten minutes and while that was happening the phone rang and was answering the persons questions over the phone, the UPS employee should have told him let me place you on a brief hold, because there was a line forming of 3 people including myself and he was the only employee that day in the morning, he didn't seem to thrilled to help me either, again just horrible attitude at this place. The third time I went there was also recently to get shipping for an item that needed to be return, the UPS manager guy with the beard, I asked him if I can use the restroom real fast and he tells me no, listen I wasn't got to urinate all over the toilet bowl or have my pheeces on the lid either but god damn. As a last resort I wouldn't recommend anyone coming here at all, everybody's attitude sucks; the two Latino guys and also the Latina chick that opens up early too. Simple issue I have with this place: Went in to return an item with my own box and my own printed out PAID return label and then I asked for a piece of tape....and they charged me $1.08 for a piece of tape no more than 8 inches long! This is very simple if you really want great customer service and help go see Helen. She has been so helpful to me when I was down in 2016 from an injury she helped me on the computer to get the right documents to my lawyer, she helped me print my documents only because she knew I was hurting and on medications. I have had the most remarkable experience at this UPS location because of an exceptional employee, Helen Sutherland. Ms. Sutherland helped me notarize a challenging document that was both time sensitive and for an out of state issue. At the same time, she managed to acknowledge almost every single customer that walked in by name, helped them with laminating needs, packaging and delivery needs, even explaining the AT&T and Netflix merger. Ms Sutherland should run the USPS! We would actually have. A system that works if she did. read more

I had an excellent customer experience at this location this evening. When I called to ask questions (after going through a short automated answering cycle) I communicated directly with an employee at the location who was able to succinctly give answers. When I arrived at the location the employees greeted me positively and helped me with a print job before assisting with shipping the package. Things were easy, fast, and painless. read more

Worst and most unhelpful service of all time. Saturday, 3/3/2018, 1130am. Needed a box to ship a return, she asks "you going to pack or you want us to pack". I say I'll pack. She tosses me a box, tells me I need to pay for it and doesn't say a thing else. Mind you I don't carry packing tape in my back pocket. No "do you need packing tape?", "can I assist you in any way", just leaves and goes to the back. I'm lucky I live across the street, so I walk out and go home to eat packing tape, come back tape up the box myself and pay. She's short tempered and rushes me through the payment prompts - I can read, also not the first time I've used a credit card. They have a placard behind the counter showing "excellent service". Last award was in 2010. Shows what happens when you have shitty experiences for 8 years. read more
