Went in 10 mins before close and I get it, that can be frustrating. But I knew I just wanted to be in and out after asking a simple question. I walked in and an older woman greeted me at the counter, but she already seemed annoyed that I showed up when I did. I simply asked if you guys had a tarp or some kind of plastic that I could buy so I could wrap up a rug and ship it. I wasn't looking to have it done for me, I wanted to just buy something to take home and wrap it myself. The lady said "Nope sorry. We don't have anything that big." She didn't even ask me how big the rug was. Didn't hesitate or even try to help me. But yet, you have a huge "Pack and Ship GUARANTEE" sign right in your window? Laughable. I love the convenience for Amazon returns, there is often a line, but they move us through quickly. One time they weren't open on time. I had to come back later. The poor guy was frustrated because the employee to open was a no show. Sick? I don't remember. So he had to come in with no notice, but I appreciate him rushing in. I had them spiral bind a bunch of printed online books. I was so excited, the employee also gave me some ideas on how to make them look nice with card stock options. I wish I could have waited in store for the books to be done, but they were busy and they would call when finished. They did, they look great, and it was done for the price promised. I used this location years ago and did not have a good experience. It's local soooo I decided to try it again. The worst customer Service ever. I am literally amazed that they are still in business with employees as clueless as these. It's totally worth the extra few minutes and fuel to drive on over to Draper--- and I bet your booty the new UPS store just up there street in Herriman is sooooo much better, progressive with economic development and customer satisfaction. Things in Riverton are just old, dusty and out of touch with customers and retail and service basics. I am sitting here in my car writing my review still just flabbergasted at what they just did-- right in the middle of finalizing my package, the previous customer walked back in and brought another person with her-- while the sales girl was helping them-/ they kept interrupting the man helping me to ask questions which he had stopped helping me while he talked-- because he obviously can't multi task. The he had the audacity he to have them step over to his station to look up their previous transaction to void out and start over again completely just to add more insurance $$$ -- not once did he raise up off his his arse to help them. ( or me) his totally Lazy self stayed seated the entire time customers were in the store. It gets better, he then has the unmitigated gaul to turn to me and say " you'll have to come back another day" oh and off course the store is closed tomorrow ‼. I said... but can't we finish this... I dread going to UPS because the Draper one is so inefficient and the workers are so unfriendly. But I went here today because I was headed to Riverton for other work and was so pleasantly surprised. I'd assumed that unfriendly and inefficient service was synonymous with UPS based on my multiple Draper experiences. Turns out, it's only a Draper thing. The employee I worked with at Riverton (wish I'd gotten his name) was kind, patient and efficient. I'll be going here in the future when I need anything from UPS even though the Draper location is closer to me. read more

Going through these reviews it's hard not to believe the worst. I go to the store often enough that most of these reviews I can blatantly see as false. Like they have a very nice chart about the different types of amazon returns, and even then it's not their fault amazon makes it so difficult. Also like the review where she wanted to ask a simple question ang got a simple answer it just seems overly critical. Whenever I show up I have a great experience, and the staff is very nice to me (I think they undercharge me sometimes), and I don't understand the negativity. i went with two items to return from amazon. they were both in a box. one was scanned using my phone and they took the item without a problem. the other item they said they would charge me to print the label. i contacted amazon they refunded me the money. not sure why ups has this rule to charge people for some returns and then other returns without an they take it without an issue. read more

Sorry for the bad review but I usually go to the ups store in sandy on 9800 and highland and they are speedy , polite and knowledgeable with notary and shipping , happened to be on the west side and this store was clearly understaffed . The notary took about 15 minutes to review my documents which were simple lien releases then told me I needed to wait 15 or 20 min because now he was backed up. I would not recommend stopping there and would take the time to drive somewhere else for notary services for sure read more

So I went in to send a box back that I ordered through amazon and went to return it. I didn't have tape for the one single box. The guy at the counter was sooooooo rude. Never looked at me once. Nor did he crack a smile. It's weird coming in and being treated like the worst customer on the planet. All I asked if he had tape and he said 2.00 for one box. I said okay and smiled since I didn't have time to go to the store to get tape. Nick was so bothered that I asked him to do anything. I don't know if he hates his job or he hates customers. But being treating like a pile of $hit when you come in makes me not want to ever come to this location ever. My husband has dropped stuff off before and never got charged for tape. If you're having a bad day don't take it out on me. Smile and look at the customer when you talk not the wall. read more

I went to this UPS store to send a package (Gift) to my Aunt in Canada. Quoted me a price to ship it at about $25.00. Thought that was great as it was almost double at other shippers. The package was delivered and then I found out that they had to pay additional $55 dollars just to get it for "duties and Taxes" from Canada. Wow was that a shock. I'm flabbergasted that they wouldn't have had me pay for this at the time of my shipment. I also called the 800 UPS number and they told me sorry and to take a hike but that there was nothing they could do. read more

Today when I went in to deliver packages I was told the internet was down and that the return codes couldn't be scanned. Nick could barely be bothered to get up from the back to help me, and once he told me the internet was down and he couldn't help me I was given a blank stare with no suggestions or alternatives, no follow-up, and no apologies. When I asked if I could go to another store he told me the internet outage was a system-wide Century Link problem that was also impacting corporate offices and all other stores...although he hadn't actually called any other stores in the vicinity. Although it's frustrating, I understand that sometimes this happens, and that it was a system-wide problem. However, I was extremely frustrated by his rude behavior and his lack of suggestions or follow-up for a problem that he was clearly already aware of. Finally after I insisted he call the South Jordan store, he said that I could come back "maybe later today, or possibly tomorrow?", which was very unhelpful in allowing me to plan the rest of my errands and commute for the day. read more
