I have to agree with most of the reviews of this UPS Store off N Loop 1604 next to AT&T and Jason's Deli...... The old man/owner tries to work this Store by himself and is moody and not very nice. Feels like an unwelcoming atmosphere. I rent a UPS Store box in Helotes for years and never had a problem. This Location's owner says "We are not affiliated with UPS or UPS Stores so you discount doesn't apply. So $3.52 to print a UPS label they normally do for free....... WTH ??? This is the UPS I go to to return my Amazon packages. Every time I've been in here, there's never been a long line. I like that the store is clean and well organized. And the people who work here are friendly and efficient. I'm usually in and out within just a couple minutes. I've made the mistake of going to other UPS stores to return packages and they never made it back to the seller. However with this location, I never have a problem getting my refund back from Amazon. So whatever system they have, it works very well! read more

Went to this store to mail something, I didn't have stamps and was told I had to purchase an entire book because they don't do individual stamps. Come to find out they definitely do sell individual stamps! The older man working was very rude about it and so I paid $13.50 for an entire book when I only needed 2 stamps. I guess I should have questioned it more but I figured an employee wouldn't rip me off, guess I was wrong. read more

Unfortunately I have to agree with Felise's review about this UPS store with the owner not being too friendly. When I went to try to scan/copy my watercolor artwork to make into "Save the Dates" for my sister, I asked the only gentleman in the store for help, and his name tag said he was the owner. He didn't seem friendly at all and kind of like I was bothering him with my request. He helped me, but the copy came out all grainy and not what I wanted. We tried again, but the second one came out the same way. He looked at me as in, "is this good enough for you?" and at that point I just wanted to leave because I felt unwelcome, so I paid my $1.08 for the card-stock/print that I would never use and left. I feel like dropping off a package at this location or doing anything basic is probably okay, but anything outside of that realm will surely "annoy" the employees who work here. PS. I also noticed a sign on the door that said "ALL PACKAGES MUST BE SEALED PRIOR TO BRINGING INTO STORE." Talk about no fuss. Today I returned my Spectrum TV cable boxes, modem, and router. The store employee greeted me quickly, took my bag of equipment, printed my label, and sent me on my way. It was very quick and easy. They box equipment up for you and you don't have to do anything. Highly recommend. Will return read more

I rarely use UPS. When I do I usually go to another location that has great customer service. I decided to stop at this location because I was in the area. Horrible customer service. ZERO STARS! The gentleman behind the counter displayed belligerence, arrogance, and condescension unlike any I've ever witnessed. I've used UPS Stores all over town (La Cantera, De Zavala, Wurzbach, Boerne, Lockhill Selma, Broadway, Boerne Stage out by Dominion, etc.) and have always received superb service until today (13:00, 06-30-2017). I wish I could give the store a -10. I wish I got the man's name that was at the front desk when I walked in for help. He was absolutely awful and had no customer service skills whatsoever. I basically went in to return a chegg textbook and came in with the textbook in the box as well as the shipping label. I asked if he could assist me because the email that I received stated that all I needed was the shipping label in the box to return and to bring it into UPS. He told me that I needed the shipping label taped down to the box and that I needed to purchase their tape to do so... let me remind you I just drove 30 minutes to get here and I did not bring a card with me for a purchase and he said that I couldn't even borrow tape after making that drive. Absolutely disgusted with this store because of this representative. I took my business to the UPS store down the street and the lady that helped me was outstanding and basically put the shipping label I brought in, into a plastic sleeve and gave me a receipt and said I was good to go. I asked if there was a different way I needed to bring in the chegg textbooks for a future reference and she said no I was good to go ... I am extremely upset that I had to waste my gas and sit in traffic to go to a complete different UPS store just because I got turned down by the man that worked at this location. read more

Wow. This guy is a complete jerk. I've never said that about anybody on yelp. His name tag said he was the owner! I asked him if he could tape the top part of the box. Never once did he respond. Just sighed, groaned, and did it begrudgingly. I tried the kill him with kindness technique and in the end I told him to have a nice day to which he actually responded thank you. Wish I had read the reviews first though. He really needs to get his attitude in check. Will not be coming back here ever. read more

If you can avoid this store, please do. I'm not expecting super impressive customer service from a UPS store but the owner (!) here is terrible. I walked in to mail something for a client and he was on the phone the entire time. I waited for him to finish his call and asked how long I could expect the package to take to arrive so I could notify my client, and his response was "What do you mean, it's mail. It's takes how long it takes". Just do yourself a favor and go to the FedEx down the road. read more

The older gentleman in this store is a nice guy, but the younger fellow behaves like a real prick. Sent a time-sensitive legal document overnight and UPS lost it. When I went to the store to inquire about the status of the package the younger man displayed a flippant, nonchalant and belligerent attitude. He showed no concern or empathy and getting info from him about the resolution process was like pulling teeth. Luckily they're not the only UPS store in town. And I feel sorry for the older gentleman for having to put up with this guy every day. Surely UPS can do better! read more

He said one word to me and have me a dirty look when he slapped on a label before the box was sealed and I told him to wait so I could seal it. He grabbed the tape and sealed it over the label. He was smoking just inside the back door when I arrived and I think i made him mad by interrupting. His badge said "owner". read more

Well, if u have a return item from Amazon, make sure u have the tape for it. They apparently don't like return items; therefore, they wouldn't tape it, forcing me to buy tape in the store in order for them to ship out. Not a big deal, but... it sure is a lack of service! read more

I say this with sincere honesty, this is the worst UPS location I have been to. I have been to this location several times, and every time I walk in I am never greeted. I ask to get papers put in an envelope and they toss the envelope in front of me. This is unusual, as every UPS location will greet me and kindly do the easy work of putting the papers in the envelope for me. The employees at location clearly have an evident disregard for customer service and fail to understand how important customer service is. I will not be returning to this location, and will go to a different UPS location instead. read more

I am at a lost for words. The old man running this store was incredibly rude. Clearly he has an issues with customer service. I have never been to a UPS store where they have had issues taping up a package for you! One small piece of tape. Cost, maybe, 4 cents at the most. You are a packing/shipping store. It's your job.
