I'm not the usual type of reviewer. I rate based on what they should do and I do not put anything on us as customers on the people that work there. I have come more than a few times to ship items and mail returns from Amazon and it's been a smooth and fast process. I will tell you I check on my results so I know it turns out the way I want. I have worked more than a few customer service jobs and I honestly do not care if this pisses off anyone. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The very last thing they want to do is be friendly to yet another person in the line after dealing with most likely at least 100 people before you. But here at this store? They did[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Even when I saw they were ready to be off work. They did. People seem to forget we are all human but once. But customer always right huh? Yeah chances are you keep with that attitude, your experiences with customer service have a high chance of being shitty. I know some of you go through life thinking every employee should bow down to you but honestly? They really don't. The times I keep in mind the people who work there are just like anyone else and want to be treated decently, I get treated well. What a shock huh? Do not use for photocopying services. They charge $2.00 and then $0.25/page. One of my print jobs came out illegible. No one checks for quality. One would think they'd have much better setup (check for toner, quality test) and faster equipment. My job was about $30 and at least $10 of it was a waste. read more

Am I really leaving a review for a UPS Store. Yes, because it's that good. This store, I go to about every 3 months to ship or take something back from Amazon. This place is UPS heaven! When you're doing copying or other projects you can use their staplers, highlighters, tape, scissors, hole puncher, glue stick, etc. Tip, check out their greeting cards rack, unique cards that you won't find at Target or Hallmark. I head to this UPS location every time I need to ship something (especially around the holidays) and it is the most convenient location to drop off my Amazon returns. The employees are always so friendly and full of smiles. Even when the line is long the wait is never that long. Find a parking space in the already busy lot takes longer than sending my packages off. I have rented a mailbox at the UPS Store in Rancho Penasquitos for the past 35 years. The staff there are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They are what I consider a one-stop-shop. Besides providing mailboxes they also provide printing and notary services. The store is clean, well organized, and stocked with all the necessary supplies. They recently took the time to understand my needs and provided efficient solutions for shipping a large box to Tennessee. I was very appreciative. I have been going to this UPS for my notary needs for several years and the customer service is consistently friendly. It is a small store so there is sometimes a queue to get inside, but the ladies who work here do their best to be efficient. However, is plenty of parking because this UPS store shares its location with Stater Bros and 24 hour fitness. There are two copier machines with similar prices to that of Kinkos. Even though it has the name "UPS" in it, I feel like I am supporting a small local business because of the welcoming atmosphere. I haven't had the same lady every time I go in this store, but every time I go, all the people are so friendly and kind! I usually stop in here to bring Returns from amazon, and today was no different. The return was quick and efficient, merely a scan of my phone and I handed the item to the cashier and she took it. I was given a receipt as well. The best part about he whole interaction was that I had my 8 month old son with me and from the moment I walked in they were talking with him and smiling at him! Avoid this store for Amazon returns unless you enjoy scams. Until today I would have said otherwise as I've had nothing but wonderful service on every single interaction at this store. All of the women working there have always been gracious, helpful, and sincere. Today, however, I had the severe misfortune of dealing with an older gentleman who was anything but. I brought in a few returns along with several packages I was shipping (I typically drop off 10-20 packages a week through this location which made todays experience all the more jarring). 3 items were being returned to Amazon via the UPS Store drop off which (as many of you probably know) is sold as needing no packaging or labels. The first was a small watch band which was taken after scanning my QR code with no issues. This band did not have a box or package. The I had him scan the QR code for a children's book and a small play sink (which was sealed in its original box and was small enough to fit within a canvas shopping bag). He then advised me that in order to use this return process I would be required to buy a box. Needless to say this flummoxed me as it is entirely contrary to the benefits of the "easy" UPS Store drop off policy which clearly states the return items need no such thing. I expressed my concerns and he told me it was in the instructions stating I needed a box. I asked to be shown exactly where I could see this and the grab literally grabbed my phone from my hand!!! Who does that? It's wildly invasive and crazy aggressive, especially in the Covid era. He proceeded to point out a line that said all packages must be sealed. I said great and pointed out that the box the sink was in had been taped up. He picked up the third item which was a small hard cover children's book (Ewe loves you, unlike this store, I highly recommend it) which is maybe 12"X12" and a quarter in thick and says "what are we supposed to do with this?". I saw that's really not my purview but you didn't seem to take umbrage to my watch band return and it had no box. Seeing the issue unfolding one of the women came over and ask what the issue was and the guy said "it's nothing, this guy just can't read". At this point I was beyond incensed and I stated again there's nothing to read because what he's referring to isn't in there and I held up my phone to try and show the woman. The guy then grabbed my phone AGAIN. I took it back from him and told him "Stop grabbing my f%#ing phone!". I'm normally averse to using profanity in public but grabbing my phone from my hands twice had crossed a line. The guy then says to me with zero trace of irony "Watch your language a--hole". I couldn't make this stuff up. I asked for my receipt for the watch band drop off as I clearly wasn't going to get this guy to drop his grimy box upsale trick. He angrily stated he had given it to me 3 times before looking down and seeing the receipt still on the printer. Once he gave me the receipt he told me to never come back again. I let him know that wouldn't ben an issue and left. Once home I advised Amazon of the issue, they confirmed that a box is not needed for the return. Clearly this UPS Store is trying to make some extra money on Amazon returns by scamming people into paying for things they do not need. If you're not happy with what Amazon is paying you for these returns then take it up with them rather than cheating the people that just want to make a return. read more

Due to a staff's unprofessionalism in handling my UPS Sure Post shipment and now it is under UPS investigation which will take forever plus the time I have to spend on filing a claim if UPS admitting it's their fault, approx another 30 days. The label only offers up to $200 max insurance and my package value was way beyond that. If the store manager/owner happens to see this please retrain that reckless UPS lady before she causes more damage! read more
