The rudest and unhelpful people working there that I've experienced, not sure if the helpful ppl other commenters have mentioned have all left or work different shifts or what, but nobody has ever been helpful. I had used UPS my choice to deliver items to this as a local access point, but half the time it isn't able to be delivered here, which is insane bc it's a literal UPS. When I went into ask about my package, the workers couldn't help me and just told me to call UPS which I'm unable to reach anyone. I have been coming to this store for over three years, and over the last three years, I have moved all of my packaging, shipping, and printing to this store. Why? Because some of the nicest people work here. Savio, Paulo, Michael, and everyone else are always very helpful and nice. No one has ever been rude or even grumpy. They do a lot more than just shipping. I've printed postcards, foam-core art labels, coroplast A-Sign labels, regular posters, and drop-off packages here almost every week. Someone below complains that their printing is expensive and says he'll buy his own printer and toner. I suggest he do that, and then we'll talk. I bought my own printer and toners, and the quality of printing is nowhere near what you get at this UPS store. There's a huge difference in quality between the $200 printers and the $3000 printers they have. I still come to this UPS store for printing all the time. I wish more people would use this store. You get a top-notch service for very little money. And I will be coming here for all my packaging, shipping, printing needs and even my puppy gets treats here (so you can be sure she'll be coming here too!) read more

How do you gauge the level of incompetence when they can't even get your name correct? I gave my first and last name all 8 letters and he immediately told me they didn't have my package. Then he asked for my ID didn't even take it out of my hand glanced and again said he didn't have anything for me......I asked if he could check my initials or the delivery address. He said if it's not under your name he didn't need to check anything else. At this point in my head I'm thinking why is this person here? Then after checking my initials the package was located, then he tells me that I should've had the tracking number, I. Informed him that it's amazing he could tell me as a customer what I'm suppose to have butt doesn't know how to do his job as the UPS Store associate be more proactive and less of a jerk. He then tells me to not come back,. I told him I wouldn't have to come to the store if his coworker could understood that when the you hear the buzzer that means open the door. In other words it wasn't a choice to walk 3 blocks to pick up a package and if I have to comeback again it would be in his best interest to change his tone. read more

Had all these concerns about my package not being sent in the right envelope but didn't seem helpful about it either To the response: I said I didn't care about the headphones being shipped in a less expensive envelope because they were already broken. When I asked for tape to tape it down to the envelope and seal the envelope, you gave me unnecessary attitude... when you were the one pushing for a more expensive envelope because you wanted the headphones to be secure. read more

An update to initial review : today, May 16, 2024- I received the refund for my rental mailbox from June 2024 to February 2025 and I also received an email apology from the owner of UPS market. Now to the person who rented mailbox 286 in UPS Market Street--I peel the sticker and saw that my package went to YOU - renter of mailbox 286- you took my package even though you saw my name, my mailbox, my phone number in 2 different UPS delivery StickSticker, it's a FEDERAL CRIME to open a package not address to you renter of mailbox 286!!!! My package is lacking 2 pairs of gloves!!!! You open MY package! RESOLUTION - pay me $20 for the missing items and write to me a sincere apology letter! OR I'll have your name subpoenaed in court for a federal crime of opening my package not address to you! Which resolution is convenient for you????? _________________________________________ Initial review: A message to the owner: I paid my P.O. Box rent yearly and on time. What happened in the past few weeks was unacceptable!!! My package (1box) was received by your UPS store and signed by the owner. When my husband initially tried to pick up my package, he was told that the package was not received and then we provided a tracking number and then your employee finally said that the package was received and signed but it went to another mailbox. The UPS packing slip CLEARLY showed my full name, my mailbox number, my phone number on the package. For the past following weeks, I was given a VAGUE response from your staff regarding what happened to my package, for example, your staff told me that the guy who mistakenly took my package changed his phone number. By providing me a vague response where my package is seems like your store is bullying me. I know that in order to rent a mailbox, ID, phone number and email address is required and YET you can't reach him? Your store gave me a run around! Your store refused to give me the name of the person who took my package BUT by giving my package to a WRONG person exposed my full name and my phone number to another person. You rather exercise confidentiality of another person who took my package but not to me who pays rent yearly on time???That's NOT fair! For this reason. I cancelled my rent as of today, May 14,2024. Update: Resolution against the store owner whose store broke my confidentiality and provided me bad service: Up to today May 15th, 2024, I did not receive the refund of my paid rental from June 2024 to February 2025. The store had a monthly option or yearly for PO Box rental. I need my refund plus $20 for the missing gloves. If you chose to pay the remaining 9 months of P.O. You know that was not your package, my full name, address with my mailbox number and phone number was clear and my package was packed and securely taped by my friend who send the package and yet YOU had the AUDACITY of opening a package that's NOT yours!!!!IT'S A FEDERAL CRIME!!!!!!!! I had a wonderful experience here today which in not really something you hear about a UPS store very often. I had to do an Amazon return (in the new way where you don't box it, you just give them a qr code). Anyway I didn't get a QR code from Amazon and it was nearly impossible to figure out the process on the website but the guy behind the counter was so patient and so kind and tried so hard to help me, it was a model of customer service and kindness. If there was anywhere to park, I would return here. But parking is awful, so maybe walk? read more

Wow. Just stopped off to mail a large envelope and buy stamps. I got charged $.90 per stamp!! Are you kidding me? I had no idea how much stamps cost but I didn't think they cost that much! Well they don't. While it was certainly convenient, to take advantage of your customers like that is unforgiveable. I'll deal with the lines at the post office going forward. I made sure to go early today to beat the rain. I walked in and was immediately asked if I wanted to ship or pick up. I was waited on by one of the owners who was very friendly, informative, and interested in what I wanted and what was best for my situation. He was able to pack my items quickly and they were set for shipping. It's an easy location with great service and reasonable fees. I really like this place. I've had papers notarized here, I drop off pre-paid packages (returns) all the time, and I've shipped many items from here. Never have any problems. Have used their photocopying service as well, as well as their scanning service. They required a USB key drive which was a bit weird, but they were helpful and helped me get it done. read more

I dropped off a queen size pillow with the direction how to return it which is Amazon told me just to drop off not to pack it. He argued with me over packaging and want me to pay for the box. The average rating does not do this store justice. The quality of service or truly unmatched and I am so fortunate to have happened upon this store the other morning for assistance. I needed about 40 pages printed out in color, single-sided, but was having trouble due to the keynote format my document was completed in. The new owner, Savio spent about 40 minutes converting my document, which he did not have to do and could've easily tuned me away. I will definitely be returning for my printing/ mailing needs to this well run establishment! They truly exceeded my expectations and the final product came out amazing! I'm not sure why this place gets such a bad rating. So far my packages have always been dropped here and always very easy and quick to pick up. Stopped by Monday 5:30 PM. Asked the available worker about getting a document notarized. He pointed to the woman, who immediately said I'm leaving. Go to 77 Van Ness. It was pouring rain out, so wasn't about to do that. I asked what their hours for notary are. Blank stare. They say on the website that appointments aren't necessary for services (and the latest you can book is 2:30 anyway). I did end up going to Van Ness the following day and was in and out in 7 minutes flat. So there's that. read more

I ordered a pair of very expensive shoes and I got a notice that I could pick them up at the UPS store. It gave me time they were delivered and who signed for them at the UPS store. When I went to pick them up the clerk could not find them. He took my phone number and said he would call me when he finds them. I never got a call. I went back the next day and asked about my shoes. The same clerk who signed for them said UPS didn't deliver them. I then called UPS, they said they did. UPS did an investigation never called me back. Ended up cancelling transaction on my credit card. When I went back to UPS store the clerk would not even look at me. I asked if he found my shoes. He said no. I asked if this happens often. He said no. I said lucky me. Never even got an apology. Sad thing is I would have a better chance if the UPS driver would have left them on my doorstep. read more

The employees went above and beyond to help me get my Amazon packages returned!! I had an issue with my label... reprinted it and still came out wrong!! Amazon was having serious issues... Abel helped me with my Amazon account return and was able to print there for me... The manager then quickly checked me out and was on my way with just 5 minutes to get to work( there was a customer in front of me who was very undecided) Also Jay helped me retake all my packages and get everything sorted and in the correct spot! 3 employees exceptional experience!!! Savio is absolutely amazing! I experienced the next customer service recently when I went in to mail a package. I expressed to him that ideally I'd like the package delivered with a 3 day turnaround to make it to a very special persons home by his birthday! Savio explained all the options, helped me chose the best one, and then even went as far as ensuring it would be handed by him to the carrier who he had a really good relationship with.
