What happened to the 2 guys that used to work here???!! They were great and offered awesome customer service! And I've never had any issue with rerouting my packages to this location pre-COVID. But ever since shelter in place and they switched to the 2 female employees I've been having problems left and right!! Let's start with the horrible attitude for when I tried to make an Amazon return. No "hello" or "hi" said at all, she will LITERALLY just glare at you as if YOU are a nuisance to HER!! The entire time she's just scoffing and rolling her eyes as she scans my amazon return barcode. I'm sorry, did I pull you away from your busy day of playing on your phone and chatting with your co-worker to do your f***king job??!! Then when I had re-routed my package to this store and went in to pick it up, the girl told me that the driver has the package and tried to re-deliver to my house. Then she said I can try calling customer service to see what is going on. So after spending 3 hours on the phone with UPS 1-800 customer service and the local UPS shipping facility, I find out the driver had attempted to deliver the package to the store (as I had requested) 3 times on 3 different days and all 3 times were refused by the store!!!! There is NO WAY that all 3 days the store just had soooo many packages that they couldn't receive one tiny little package of bath products!!! It's not like I had ordered a gigantic 70" TV!! SO - not only did she lie to me but she made me waste 3 hours on the phone thinking that it was the driver's mistake! If you must go to this location, don't say I didn't warn you. read more

Would give 0 star if possible. UPS website shows package is ready for pick up, but they cannot find the package when I went there and they said the package was not delivered. Called UPS and investigating team said from their own system, it showed the package had been signed by their employee for delivery. If you want to have your package not lost or stolen, do not go there. read more

This is the closest UPS store and had issues with the customer service multiple times. A few times I have been here, the store wasn't open on time and had waited ~10minutes. A suggestion for management would to schedule employee earlier than the store hours. The other time, customer service was just unhelpful. For example, a few of us were waiting and the customer service would randomly select the next customer even though the person being there first spoke up. The response was to "form a line" then continue to ignore the rest of us. read more

I've had to frequent this store for several different reasons: shipping, printing, packaging, and they do not ever disappoint. Those working behind the counter are all consistently knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. They do get busy at times, but it never fails that their customer service skills stay on point. They're super easy to find as they're located in the shopping center adjacent to a gym and Yogurtland - wait, what? In any case, don't hesitate or second guess the option of visiting this UPS center when the need to presents itself. Surprised to see so many negative reviews. I have been going to this place for Amazon returns recently and it was great! I go there on weekdays during lunch hour and there's no line, or rarely. The two young men who work there are super nice and friendly. I have never been to an UPS store that has great service like them, I used to go to ones in south SJ and Milpitas (depends on where I'm at) and def did not get the same treatment, usually they're annoyed with Amazon returns but this place the team is pretty nice and helpful. read more

I came by here a few days ago to drop off 7 pre-paid UPS packages and to mail one out. Joe, the gentleman working that day, was friendly, professional, and helpful. He provided a receipt for all my packages as proof of drop off. The one box I mailed out from here was 33% more expensive than if I had purchased the label online. $20 for a 4lb box via UPS ground from SJC to Utah. Online it was less than $15. I guess they have to make something to stay in business and for the convenience. The parking in that wing of the shopping plaza can be limited with a gym right there. read more

Good for regular shipping services, mailbox. Printing service on the other hand was a disappointment. Requested a printing job for 8.8x5.5 [qty100] flyer service that was displayed on their signage. Issues: 1. They didnt know of what is on their ad 2. Was told it would take about 1 to 2 days to complete. I gave them a whole 3 days. Walked in to follow up and find out that the Print job hasn't even started... also, staff wasnt even aware of the print job. 3. Flyers I wanted needed to be resize which cost an additional charge... Overall, come here to do shipping services/ pickups. As for printing services, you may probably want to go elsewhere. read more

Came in today to do a return the lady in the front i believe her name was serena was so sweet she helped me out after i was tryna use the kiosk and it wasn't working. she processed everything so quickly and i was very helpful. now the reason for the 4 starts is another lady who works there i didn't catch her name but i did catch her stank ass attitude. she just was mugging everyone and seemed so rude. i don't know if she had an off day but it was not pleasant. read more

The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - San Jose, California

I needed to buy a box. The box is on display list the dimensions. However, they have more boxes in the back with different dimensions. The box is on display did not list any prices. So I had to ask the guy what other dimensions they have. It makes it kind of difficult because then you don't know what those prices are on those boxes either and have to imagine the dimensions as he disappears to bring out the size you ask for. He looked on the price sheet to let me know which was cheaper for what I needed to pack. The associate was not friendly but he was also not rude. Clean store overall. Three stars for A OK. read more

I kept trying to print a return label and I needed help she helped me and got the label printed and was so kind I give her a 10 . I should have gotten her name. I walked in the store at around 6:00 pm and the store closes at 6:30 pm. I needed some color printing and some black and white copies the same day transferred from a USB flash drive into their system, on 8.5 x 11 paper. They helped me to pull out the files, and my files had some problems (margins and Font size Issues). They fixed them super fast and I am so happy to find this place. I was in FedEx Office just cross street, but I couldn't find any help or guidance from them to fix my files. There are many good things that are important to me: They are super fast, so expert and knowledgeable about printing and they are so nice to help the customers. Pretty displeased with the service. Walked in on a Friday afternoon. There was only one customer ahead of me. I needed to certify mail a document and notarize another. The employee told me to wait. When it was my turn, i had already filled out the cards for my certified mail. The lady took my documents and began to process. It took about 5 minutes to finish all the paper work. She had to ask me for the sound address at least 3x. I felt like it was her first time because she went looking for someone to double check her work. Finally when that was done, she forgot to notarize my docs. When i reminded her, she told me to get back in line and wait for her co worker to do it. They offer me now help and I waited almost an hour.....It was disheartening to say the least. I thought I give UPS a try. I figure they may way more expensive but why not. Two days later, I realize, the label was for USPS and not UPS. I was horrified and did not know what to do. And ola, the good man did give it to the mailman and my package was delivered to ATT. I've never written a one star review to any business before, but your store is so terrible and since you asked me to write one, here it is: Positive feedback: - Joe and the other guy know how to provide good customer service. Since the other guy has already quit, this only one star goes to Joe, otherwise I would have given this store negative/zero star if I can. - The store itself looks clean and equipment works sometimes. - it's close to our business. Negative feedback: - The store was slow to responding and fixing their equipment when it breaks. There was no air conditioner in the store for several weeks and it felt like a sauna in there. The printer and fax machine didn't work properly and when the equipment screwed up, the employees make customers pay for it. Several clients from our business have complained the same thing about this store. - Using the computer costs $3 minimum charge plus whatever extra fee of the time it is used. They refuse to take cash, credit card only. So to print out one piece of paper for just shipping label, it costs about $5 - New employees (one young woman, one older one) do not know how to operate their equipment nor provide decent customer service. - Same package to same location costs different price for two different times. - They have lost our packages a couple of times, and gave us someone else's packages. Messing up mails happens occasionally. At the end, it all comes down to you, the manager/owner. As the manager, you seem to have no clue about how to run a business nor how to provide decent customer service. Everyone has to make ends meet but you shouldn't screw customers over for just a few dollars profit and for your own accountability/your employee's mistakes. Here are a couple of examples if you even bother to read: My husband is a very patient humble busy professional and even he got upset with the service at your store. A few months ago he brought several two sided papers to your store to fax them. Your employee faxed the papers but could not get a fax confirmation, so your employee suggested him printing out those papers to mail them instead since he had to keep the original papers. Once again, your employee did not know how to use the printer and printed one sided papers. At the end, my husband was charged over $70 for faxing fee because your employee did not know how to use the faxing machine and for printing out one sided papers because your employee did not know how to use the printer and plus overnight shipping because again your employee did not get faxing confirmation in the first place. My husband did not have time to complain about your employees, but he has never used the service at your store since then. I came to your store to pick up packages and one of your new employees, the older lady, tried to ignore me several times. For example, I was standing in line to pick up packages, in front of me is a customer that Joe was busy helping out, behind me are two other customers waiting to drop off packages. Your new employee (the older lady) walked out, looked past me and asked the customer behind me if he needed help. Joe said "actually it was her (me) next in line" and even then, she said nothing or even apologised, continued to help out the other guy in line behind me. I was very upset but decided not to say anything because it was not worth my time talking to her. We will cancel our memberships next year since we've already paid for it this year, and move to another store even though it's further away. It's not worth the stress, the time, the money spent here at your store. It's not about how much you charge customers cuz many of us are willing to pay more for better services. The best investment for your store is for you as a manager to take hospitality and business classes, seriously. read more

Drop off your packages here at your own risk. There's a chance the workers here will steal your package if they recognize the contents or the destination. Usually a package gets scanned several times at various points on it's way to the destination, such as when it gets picked up by the truck or when it reaches a distribution center. They will scan it when you drop it off but after that there are no progress scans anywhere, for weeks. This means it got "lost" while it was still at the store. I went back a week later to ask about it but they act innocent, yet somehow they knew where my package was supposed to go, even though I never told them the destination. That means they knew packages that go to this destination often "go missing". It's likely they saw the address on the box when i dropped it off and knew what was inside so they took it. They just tell you to file a claim with UPS so it's not their problem. This EXACT thing also happened to my coworker, and one of the workers said this happened a bunch recently, so this store is definitely up to something shady. read more

Fast and friendly. Convenient location, I was not intended to go to that specifically but was in the area and it was perfect for me. It is located at that East Brokaw shopping center next to my AAA so I will use them again when in need of UPSing something. Parking was difficult as there is a big gym and seems to me that they occupy all the spaces. I had to do a couple rounds until i found a spot. read more
