This UPS store is kind of out of my way, but I made it a point to go here to drop off some Amazon returns only because the UPS store that is closest to me has a service clerk that I simply cannot stand and so I will make it a point to call the store first to see if he answers which then tells me he is working today so.......nope, NOT going there! I'll drive the distance and go to this store on Homestead Road, because I don't like ruining my day with BAD customer service! Barry who helped me at the UPST Store on Homestead Road was great! I have had to send back a few packages and have used this location. I am not a fan of UPS at all there's always a problem. This location is a bright spot in an other wise horrible situation. The staff here is nice and helpful. They enforce social distancing and mask use. If you have to use UPS this is where you should go. read more

They charge $3 here for a print-out of a single piece of paper. They use an AIO hp printer. It's just too bad they can't be understanding and give you a freebie if you just didn't know as a one-off. A retailer sent me here to return something with a pre made label and I don't have a printer at home so figured they could print it out for me free of cost. They do this at FedEx which is nice! If any shipping service or retailer requires me to use UPS I will make sure to have my stuff printed anywhere else (even @ FedEx for 10 cents with a DIY printer) instead. Otherwise.. pretty normal. For covid times payment isn't contactless. Shouldn't really have had to pay anyways... I just wouldn't ever use UPS at this point. Dated business with old practices. read more

Today, I didn't even have an envelope/package for item that I was returning and these guys just took care of it. That was very sweet. There was a couple using the computer and it was taking them 10+ minutes to print. My husband and I just had one piece of paper to print and began growing a little impatient. Sergio, one of the associates, saw us waiting and asked what service we needed. He helped and had us out of there in 5 minutes. He was definitely efficient and fast! The associate working with him (I didn't catch her name) was servicing many people as well. Altogether, a great experience with the people who work here. I only use UPS stores to drop off packages. I ship about one per day, on average. This is my go-to store, mostly because it's closest to me. But, they also have scanning stations for drop-offs, so you don't have to wait in line. I've never had a problem here. They seem to get a lot of business, which I assume is because they do a good job. read more

Fortunately, a friend was able to pick up my belongings and bring it to the UPS store. Glenda took over once my friend dropped everything at the store. I always get really good service at this store. Im in and done within minutes! Today I wrote a review because Austin gave great customer service with a smile! I was making a simple return with a pre-paid return label given to me by the company I bought my item from. I don't know about you all, but I haven't been given any other help or tape when shipping things back with a pre-paid label at other locations. Its an emphatic no! I recently went to another store on El Camino when I had to ship some expensive bone china and I did not receive any help whatsoever- I was also purchasing a box at this location, but had to pay for or bring my own bubble wrap and tape. So I took up space in the middle of their floor putting the box together, taping it ( with my own tape) wrapping a box of china in bubble wrap by myself. Really?! Not at this location! Austin explained that he would tape it closed FOR me. "Don't worry, we have plenty of tape!" [smiling] Such a difference! I understand the principle of the pre-paid label - it doesn't cover materials to return it. But when I am purchasing materials at a location- I expect service and an attitude from someone like Austin! Thank you! read more

Not a friendly store. Don't expect much help or a clear answer. do all you research online and go there just to drop-off. This store charges $3 to just print their own label (which you totally paid for). Print the label elsewhere (go to a fedex store, they may print, even UPS label for free for you). read more

I had the worst experience of my life in this store today. I went to notarize a document for my old mother. My mother has a broken english and the lady wouldn't even listen to her. She was very racist and outright rude to me and my mother. There is other folks in the store who are nice but the lady was blunt rude like she refused to listen to my mothers broken english and notarize the document infact didn't even give a chance to my mother to talk. Came here to ship something. They try to give you a box that's double or triple the size so they can charge more for shipping. When I asked about they switched the box. The quote was almost double then what I ended up paying at the real UPS location. The guy behind the counter was rude, and extremely slow. Will not be back. read more

I've been using this UPS store for the past couple of years. Only one person was ever really nice, and the rest have always been at best, acceptable, until today. I walked in, and there were about three customers in the store. The associate, Jasmine looked up at me, seemed exasperated, and no greeting. Maybe because I obviously had items that still needed a label and tape, rather than already packaged and ready to go? While she was helping another couple, she asked me in a very loud voice, without making eye contact, "What are you doing today, ma'am?" I said I'm shipping a couple of packages. "Are you gonna pay for them?" Uhhh, yes. I knew what she meant (prepaid label or regular), I just don't know if discussing my transaction with a loud voice and trying to talk over another customer is the best way to provide customer service. I got to the counter, and asked her to give me estimates for two packages first. She weighed the first box, measured it, I gave her the zip code, and she told me price. And then she went to another computer to ring up another customer...okay. So I placed my second box on the scale and asked for an estimate on that. Her response was, "Ok, well you have to tell me first if you want that first box shipped so I don't delete everything on the screen." I said no. At this point, I was so turned off by her curt responses that I didn't want to be helped by her anymore. Is it really that hard to re-type weight, dimensions, and a zip code? Geez. I just got the second estimate, said I'll just do prepaid labels, and left the store. Look, I don't expect to be waited on hand and foot at a mailing store. This isn't the hospitality business, but it is still customer service. Just be polite to your customers, look them in the eye when you talk to them, and not try to make them feel like it's such a pain for them to be there and avail of your services. If you are to use this store, I recommend to just come in with your packages all set to go, prepaid label ready. Hand them your packages, get a receipt, and get going. read more

Tried to ship a fragile item from this UPS. They said $142 bucks. I said that sounds really high please double check. They said yeah shipping to the east coast can be expensive. The item was 15 oz. I said how much for you to just package it? $20. Ok fine. I paid the 20. He said it'll take 20-30 min. He then took my item to the back and came back 10 min later. The box he put it in was 3 times larger than needed but okay. Took the item to USPS. Had to open the box before shipping. Whoa! Turns out he just placed it inside and closed the box, placed a tiny piece of bubble wrap on top and charged me $20. No tape, nothing! Shocking. I'm really lucky I didn't just ship it out like that. By the way USPS charged me $14 to ship it. I knew UPS is more than USPS but $142 vs $14 is insane! Couldn't believe it! Went back to the store and ask why there is no tracking status and the clerk was rude and said this is not their problem and I need to deal with Amazon customer service about my return. So I've discovered that this UPS Store charges way more than what you can get get online if you print out your own label. I was told my an employee that all the UPS Stores are independently owned and that the owners have discretion on what to charge. The price for cross country 2nd day air was 80% more expensive than it was online. I will say that the employees are very helpful and patient with concerns so that is a plus. Just straight up based on value, you might be better getting your label online. read more

When I went to JDM and found them closed I was in a quandary as where to go to ship some items for return. I looked on Yelp and was not disappointed with the UPS Store on Homestead road! They are hidden between Game Stop and Popeye's near Caffino. So do not get lost like I did looking IN the plaza. I called the number and a very nice lady explained where they were. I received great service as other have to return my items and have the RMA number on the UPS shipping label. I would highly recommend them for your UPS shipping needs. read more

Oh and honest people, when selling their services, would tell their potential customer who mentions that she's only using this kind of service for package pickups that they can be a package holder, not a mailbox holder which is more than $50 sign up fee plus a $30 (or something close to that) per month fee. I only knew about the mailbox but was never told by the owner about a package holder option which is MUCH cheaper. An honest person would have told me. Now, not telling is not illegal I guess, but pretty immoral and do you think that's? That's why I like his employees, the first time I picked up a package I happened to mention the lady helping me that she doesn't have to check the mailbox I signed up for because I only use the service for packages. She immediately said, wait then why aren't you a package holder? Update to his response, yet again (6/1/17): Look, from all my reviews I thought it was clear my remembrance of how much everything cost is foggy. Okay, fine it's not $45, sorry, I really wasn't trying to make you sound expensive. But don't go on that to make me a liar bc I don't remember numbers from months ago. Who's the real liar though? Don't you remember Ravinder, when the mailbox was set up, you said you usually don't come into the store, but that someone called out that day so you had to come in. In fact, the security cameras again should show exactly that you were there and we were chatting. Believe me I remember your face and you flat out said you were the owner. In fact, you gave me your business card at the end. In fact I might still have it and I would be glad to take a picture of it if I do. I mean obviously you wouldn't have given it to me on that last day where we had the argument right? So it would have had to be the first day when we set up the mailbox. And remember? You told me you don't usually do the setting up of the mailbox so one of your employees - this super helpful young black woman - had to help you because you had trouble. If you keep security cameras running this long, all we have to do is go back to that date and time that I signed up and I promise you'll see both of us were there and we were chatting. And, you asked me how I found this place, I said Yelp reviews. So Ironic right? I give you permission to show your customers every video of me in the store but I know you won't because your customers would know you're lying. But re: this lie about the mailbox thing, I have a very good memory so either you forgot or you're purposely lying. But your last update, the one where you removed what you said before, and where you said you could have "forgotten" that I'd opened a mailbox with you.
