One of the happiest UPS Store I've ever been in. Walked into the store and the staff were laughing at another staff member's story, which puts you in a great mood. I had a couple things to do at the store and Christina, manager on duty, helped me right away and cheerful about it! I think I was out in less than 15 min but I gave myself 45mins thinking it woulD take longer. I would drive out of my way to this store even though there is one closer to me. Plus, there is a Popeye's next door (pick up a chicken sandwich on the way home!). I needed an ink fingerprint card (FD-258) for work. Christina worked carefully and when her eye for detail spotted that one of the prints was too smudged (my bad), she started over and created a perfect second set. Couldn't even worse. Went to drop off the parcel was asking for one more tape on the side of the box, and the lady behind the counter is incredibly rude and yelling about "we only do one tape, go buy the tape!" For some reason the address for this specific UPS Store isn't specified where the location pin is on the Yelp page, but it is on the description: 2784 Homestead Rd, on the intersection of Homestead of Kiely. It's in the same plaza as the Safeway and actually very easy to spot. I had to deliver a package and I obviously waited until the last minute. I've found that most, if not all, UPS Stores are closed on the weekend and only a handful are open on Saturday. But not this wonderful gem. This UPS Store is open 7 days a week, with extended hours on the weekdays. There's no wonder this place gets so much acclaim. The service was very efficient, even though this location is very small. I came in with a package to deliver and they told me to just drop it off, since I didn't need a receipt. I came in and left in a matter of minutes! If you are in the Santa Clara County area and need to drop off a package, I suggest coming to this UPS Store. You can wait until the last minute and these guys will still be open! To start off, I just want to say that I love this store. The package dropoff process is so fast and easy, and the staff are usually very nice. However, the store manager, Christine, was very condescending and racist in denying us a package pickup. My partner is Korean and no one can pronounce her legal name, so she goes by Beatrice. That's what she puts on all of her packages, and that's what a friend would write if they were to ship her something. Yet Christine wouldn't allow us to pick up her package because her first name on her driver's license didn't match the first name on the package, even though we also brought her health insurance ID card (which has both names on it), our lease (which also has both names on it), another piece of mail that was delivered to us with "Beatrice" on it, and a physical UPS package pickup slip. I understand wanting to combat fraud, but this is more evidence than is needed to get a driver's license. If she had a white name, she could have gotten her package, but now there is literally no possible way for us to pick it up. read more

For what was listed online as a 17$ shipment (size, weight and speed calculated), the store wanted to charge ove $70 for regular ground shipping. If you want patient and kind assistance with a print or shipping job, come to this location. Thankyou Barry for making my stressful printing job a piece of cake. I had to print a hard copy of my thesis for final submission. There were a few requirements. Barry took care of each one. When he made a small mistake (which I allowed) he re did that part so no one would have reason to reject my copy. Although this store is a little out of the way I will continue to use this location. It wasn't too busy on a Sunday afternoon so that's a plus. read more

5 star treatment up in this spot! Came in earlier to get my Lifescan done and it went smooth. The vibe here is great! I can tell all the employees here have a bond that'll run a business well. They are friendly and they communicate with each other like family. I needed to return an item that was a bit pricey and today the USPS is closed (plus their pricing online for shipping this item was over twice the amount that UPS quoted). I went to this location as it's near my home. Veronica was waiting for me (no line, which was surprising since the USPS was closed today), and she took care of my package quickly and efficiently, with a great smile and calm demeanor. I asked for insurance and she quickly described the rates, I chose one, and she finished processing my package. When she handed me my receipt, she also gave me a discount coupon for printing, and showed me on my receipt where the tracking number was. She also set up email notification so I would know when my package had been delivered. After reading other reviews of this UPS Store, I didn't realize they did so many other things (notary, ink fingerprinting, and they recycle packing materials you don't need). I occasionally need to send items through UPS with a prepaid label. This store is conveniently on my way to/from home and I'm happy that it is. While I usually prefer to get a receipt when I drop off, if there's a long line, they're always offering to take it in if I don't need a receipt. Perhaps it's a good thing that all of my interactions in the store are relatively short because of all of those short encounters, I've never had an issue with dropping off my items. All of the staff I've met have been super friendly and helpful. Even when they're swamped, they at least acknowledge my arrival and let me know they'll get to me when they can. read more

Shipped out a package from this store and it was $134.10, but when running it through the UPS website 3 times it came to $84.68 each and every time. I even added more weight and dims. I've shipped out over 200 packages so it's not like I've never done this before. I can see making an extra $10 on me, but an extra $49.42?? I also blame myself as I knew I should of waited to bring it to the UPS Station in Sunnyvale. If you want to save money take your items to the actual UPS Station in Sunnyvale. read more

This is my second time coming to drop off a package for it to be shipped by UPS. I haven't had a problem with this UPS store yet. In the past, I always go to the UPS store in San Jose on Toyon Ave near my house, but this store is closed down now. The customer service there wasn't good anyway. I started coming this UPS store in Santa Clara because it is near my workplace. What I like about this store is that the employees are attentive. For example, when I came in with my package and waited about 5-10 seconds, the employee would ask me immediately, "Just a drop-off?" I like how I am being assisted immediately because I really don't know what to do and am just waiting for help. In general, any customer would like to be assisted immediately and like it if employees are attentive. Since the label on my package is prepaid, this makes it faster for them to help me. I like how they actually gave me a receipt with the tracking number provided. If I ever need to drop off a package to a UPS store, I won't hesitate coming this one. I hope this UPS store keeps up with their good customer service. read more

Ran in this morning to print 40 full color glossy flyers from a pdf file. The door was wide open, the girl inside - friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to open the file on their computer (without being charged for time, like at Kinko's, I mean FedEx Office), print one flyer, check it out, make some edits on their computer, and print out 39 more. The whole process took just a few minutes, and cost only $15. I'll certainly be back to print out some full color tri-folds and flyers. read more

I've never had any trouble with this place. They are very thorough with the packages I've sent and overall a nice place to use. I'm not sure if he's the owner, but the tall heavyset guy is always nice and friendly to me and to my husband. He speaks english very well, so we haven't have any trouble communicating. My only complaint is getting into their parking lot, but ithat's not their fault. You can enter the Safeway parking lot and park there, just walk over the curb to the UPS store. read more

Rest of the staff is great every time I have ever come in here & there, but the lady wearing what looked like a Dia De Los Muertos style face mask on 10/3/22 was super rude. This is my first time coming in during the morning and first time having a bad experience. It was busy, so she was rushing people through. The few men in front she seemed ok with, but then ignored the girl she was helping in front of me who asked a question as they were finishing up, saying "Next" loudly over her while she was asking it. Didn't even bother to confirm if she had asked anything because the poor girl even paused for a moment & then walked out instead of asking it again. During my experience; I asked a question (could I get a receipt for each please?) because I had a few items, I don't know how their system works of course, not knowing it would all be on 1 receipt as they were all different locations, and I was nice, but she still had the biggest attitude while saying "Wait until I'm done scanning". I was like oh ok. I just don't like when people are mean to others that are being nice. The rest of the staff is cool, so I'll just try to avoid this lady next time I go in, if I can. This is pretty much a PSA to all who don't want to get mistreated. read more

This UPS Store has great customer service. For reapplying for passport services, we first went to a FedEx store, which did not follow the required sizes and specifications of the passport agency. The agency required us to retake. It was a big hassle. As soon as we told the UPS Store personnel of this, they said that their practice is to refund if not retake the photos to ensure the photos were correct, neither of which was offered by the FedEx store. I highly recommend this UPS Store for taking your passport photos and ensuring a good customer service experience. I've used them a few times but today was the BEST. My husband went on a trip and forgot his passport at home. I needed to overnight it to Mexico. I called FedEx and they said it would take 4 days. I called the main UPS 800 number and was told I could not get it there overnight. Since I'd used the UPS store in the past I decided to go into the store and see if they could do anything. I was told it would be no problem getting it there tomorrow. This just shows me I will never again use or call anyone else. In the meantime they are working on a Banner for me which they designed. I just gave them the information about what I wanted on it and within an hour I had a proof. I will have it in plenty of time for my event. These guys Rock! read more
