I cannot even begin to count the number of times it's taken me over 20 minutes to get to the register. I've really enjoyed how speedy it is in the Schererville location. They are busy but also seem to be quicker and have more help. The workers are not rude like I feel they have been in merrillville. I even call them on the phone to ask about postage on different weights because sometimes I just need to use 2/4 stamps. They have never been short with me. I really don't like going to any post office but I would say its one of the better locations.

Now that we have a new postal carrier, we have been told that their supervisor instructed them not to deliver our mail because the road is "closed." As a result, we are now expected to drive to the post office every day to pick up our business mail. The road is accessible. Our business is open. Residents and businesses along the road can come and go normally. Mail has been delivered without issue for months. Can someone please explain why a change in postal carrier suddenly means our business is no longer eligible for mail delivery? This simply does not make sense. We would appreciate this being reviewed and our normal mail delivery being restored.

I have only once returned something from Amazon, but it was at Whole Foods as my experience there was the complete opposite. I am a senior citizen as I do not have the experience with returning items from online using my cell phone that others may have. It was a no wait situation for me as I was lucky enough to arrive at the right time so I thought. This young man motioned for me to come forward which I did. I told him what I needed to accomplish. Opened Amazon on my phone and still couldn't manage to find what I was trying to do. He saw I was in need of help, politely asked for his help but refused to offer any real assistance. Basically ignoring my pleas for help. He spoke softly and I couldn't hear nor understand what he wanted me to do. He then tells me to "Stop playing me". I couldn't believe what I heard. I raised my voice and basically reminded him I'm the customer and needed his help. Then he went over to the copy machine, I needed two health insurance cards copied. Feeling bad I scolded him for his poor customer service, I gently touched his left shoulder and he snaps at me, "Don't touch me!" Sorry I am old school but I meant no harm. I was making him uncomfortable, he claimed. This guy is not ready for prime time nor stable enough to deal with the public. He couldn't even use the copy machine correctly the first time. Ironically, I then went to the Dollar Tree and held the door open for a Black gentleman as he was exiting the store. In gratitude, the man placed his hand on my left shoulder as a gesture of kindness for holding the door open for him. The contrast between the older and new generation is quite telling. I will NEVER IN MY LIFE go into that UPS store EVER AGAIN. I will not be insulted, nor will my dignity be challenged. NEVER AGAIN!

My first time ever having to go to a laundromat. Their newer machines ranged from $3.25 per washing…read moreload up to four dollars. Their dryers are $.25 for eight minutes. My clothes were able to wash quickly. The longest load that I had washed for 40 minutes and everything for me dried within 25 minutes. This place will get you in and out quickly. I will say they are a bit pricey but they do have cheaper washing machines available that start at $2.50. It's nice that this place is 24 hours. The people that were in there were nice main members of the neighborhood. As you wash your clothes you can walk over to the nearby trail. Or sit outside they have tables and seats outside. Around the corner they have a dog washing area. Separate from the laundromat. It's good that they have it separate.
