She was polite and attentive from the moment we walked thru the door, and not just to us, but to everyone who walked in. After going through all of my paperwork and helping me get everything notarized correctly, she made copies of everything for me, secured them in an envelope and made sure I was organized when I left. I've gone to this store regularly for over 5 years and for a variety of needs. I've alway liked the staff very much. However today was my last day. I went to get a document notarized for my long-stay visa to Europe, where I have family, and it needs to be sent quickly; I've done this three times in the past 5 years for the same document at this UPS store. The staff has also notarized all sorts of European documents for various visas in the past. Today they would not notarize it because it's in three languages (Italian, German, French and a little bit of English) because they can't read the document, even though it's only got peoples names on it and between those three languages, 90% of it is completely phonetically the same as English. It's not a rocket science document to review. It's just a marriage/partnership certificate, not an important document that has signatures on it or anything. Instead of problem-solving the issues, they handled the situation terribly. The policy, which they showed me, didn't state that the document had to be in English, just the they had to be able to communicate in English with the signer to be able to "discern" the document. I guess my PhD is not good enough to help them "discern" the phonetics. This new policy is coming from a bad current political system that is anti-immigration, we all know that; and they are upholding it. I'll never spend my money at this store ever again, they revealed themselves. I left the store very angry, which makes me sad, since I trusted this business. I'm heading back to my beloved store near my old home in Reno for my UPS needs. read more

So I supposed to receive a package from UPS the 12 in Southlake Tahoe California but for weather condition did delete today and today it's a no bad weather it's a clear sky no wind perfect to drive what on my truck numbers they say it's still bad weather condition which of the outlying I called the manager and they can reach nobody in Sparks UPS facility which is so disgusting and unfortunately I have a knee surgery which the machine I supposed to receive it's ice machine compressor for release the pain noafter I talk with the manager they say he be here next business day which is a Monday I know recommended this company for nobody yelled liar they take the money from the company to send me the package it get a disgusting dental care about nobodyI explained to the manager this is the north toilet it's machine for my surgery for my knee surgery but dental care . I got to the UPS STORE BARING BLVD. knowing it would be busy. I've been a frequent customer for a few years. Barbara & Diana are the clerks that have always taken care of me. I had a HUGE box and a regular box for Amazon. They make it easy for us by sending codes to our iPhone. The employees have to constantly deal with technology changes, UPS changing the configuration of their equipment plus the rules that many times the products being returned don't even have to be boxed up! This time I had a return from a company who isn't able to send a code for the equipment readers to create a label. So being they ( the employees) have to deal with the fact they don't even have public WIFI, which shocked me, she had to help me bring my email up on their public PC. The label wouldn't send. The company, who shall remain nameless, made it almost impossible to return the product that stated a satisfaction guarantee on the sale page. I called them and their phone number had changed. This entire time I'm using the only OC available. I finally get an actual person on the phone, explain the problem....more stalling. I insist they email the return label to the store. They pretend they're having trouble getting a screen up to do so. I get a manager on the line and the label, after 1-1/2 hrs it's emailed to UPS. It finally sends and again I'm taken care of as Diana gets my receipt. I've always been happy with the service there. This Christmas time there was a line down the sidewalk and the workers took the entire thing in stride. I was almost ready to start crying and just throwing the stupid return box in the garbage. But because of the team there I'll be getting my $59.00 backThank you to the crew, Diana especially this time, Barbara and everyone working so hard without ever getting annoyed with me. Or showing it anyway. They all deserve a substantial end of year bonus. read more

I drive 5 miles out of my way to use this UPS Store. I have been doing business here for 10 years and the team here is great. Real humans, real people, great service. It's kind of like "Cheers" in that you always feel welcome and they always call you by your name. I usually leave with a smile on my face and a little extra skip in my step. In an age of abbreviated communication, corporations charging a premium for human interaction, and grocery stores asking you to self-check out, the UPS Store on Baring in Sparks is a rare and valuable breed. A testament to how business should be done and a real asset to the UPS brand. read more

I've been using this UPS Store for over a year now (I go every week or so to ship large packages). I started coming to them after I had an awful experience at the UPS Store on Lemmon Valley (which ended with their store manager cursing me out aftery THEY lost my package). In short, this is by far the friendliest UPS Store I have ever visited. They are about 30 minutes out of my way, but I still use them over the Lemmon Valley UPS Store, which is only 3 minutes away from my house. read more
