Horrible strong fragrance in this store, there was sewage smell and now they cover it with a horrible fragrance. We cannot be in this store anymore for 1 minute with having to air out our car, come home shower and wash all clothes. It is really horrible and must be very unhealthy. I shipped two identical boxes from this location with an end destination of Hawaii. One made it and one was shipped to an Amazon return warehouse here in Phoenix. after talking with UPS I was informed this happens when the shipping location categorizes the package incorrectly when they receive it from the shipper. I never did receive my package back and filing an insurance claim now. To make it even worse, this is the second time this has happened from this location. I don't know why I even bother with this location. Not worth the risk, I would rather drive 2 miles away to the next UPS location. read more

I have done business at this location for many years, and everyone is always very friendly and helpful. However, until this last visit with Ms. Carry/Karry. She tried very hard to be rude to people. I watched her role her eyes and non-helpful to the African American lady that was standing at the counter and trying to return a couple of items. The customer was struggling in getting the correct return documents pulled up on her phone and she was made feel like she was an inconvenience. An older gentlemen that was also there noticed a bit of the tension as he attempted to make a funny joke to get Carry/Karry to smile and she just ignored him and walked away. Then my turn came about, I had 3 separate returns, I handed her the printout QR Codes along with the 3 items, she asked which QR code belong to each return, although the printout clearly stated each item. I told her it was on the sheet, she said they are not my items that are being returned. I asked what her name was, she provided her name and with a go Fu8*K yourself type of a grin. I thank any employee that has to work on a Sunday, however if she was not happy about being in there and assisting customers in a professional manner, then she had no business being there. Her behavior is unacceptable. Not the type of person I would want to be front line at my business handling customers. read more

I've come to this UPS location a number of times and have always had a pleasant experience with the workers but always felt a weird vibe from who I assume is the owner. This one girl who is amazingly personable and friendly (and does an amazing cat eye liner) is not only fast but efficient continues to get stared at by the owner, as if she wasn't happy with the work she was doing. ‍ Fast- forward to this Monday I took in a box to get returned back to Amazon. I presented my QR code and she began to tell me that beginning next week she will start charging people to print their labels for them. I proceeded to tell her that when I processed my reopen I was given a QR code not an option to print and pack your own box. I tried showing her examples of my own orders that required that but she didn't even understand/listen. I was returning a blow-up mattress and I couldn't shove it all the way in the box as pretty and neatly as they do when it arrived. She then started freaking out about how she couldn't do anything with this and that I needed another box. I was tired of hearing her complain so I said ok how much for a box? And her reply?? It's expensive! Ummmm I'm sorry aren't you on the business to sell and I'm contact with Amazon to accept their returns? I didn't make that decision for you so don't take it out on me. I was so frustrated that I just told her forget it and I'd figure something out. I ended up calling Amazon and they were completely shocked as to why she was trying to charge for a label when was already prepaid thru the QR code. I'm not upset about her denying the package but more so her tone. I would rather go to a place that's slower than deal with rudeness! read more

Had a really great experience here today. Needed a mailbox and within 10 minutes the transaction was complete. All of the employees here were very attentive to the customers and they had great attitudes. After having an absolutely horrible experience at the other UPS Store off Bell, it was so nice to be treated so well and get what I needed so quickly. Management of this store takes ZERO responsibility for errors made by their employees bc of their garbage digital system. Once a shipment leaves the premises INCORRECTLY, they blame the customer. In this case, NO ADDTIONAL TAPE AS REQUESTED, NO FRAGILE LABEL. This occurred even after several attempts to get the counter clerk to listen and make corrections. They do NOT want to hear what service was received at store counter and they don't care what happens to your package. They WILL NOT make any corrections/refunds or assist to maintain ANY LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. " Package was returned smashed with contents broken. This "manager" said she was not interested in continuing a phone conversation bc she wanted to talk about their rules and was not interested in hearing the story. I have to say that I am extremely disappointed in this UPS store. I've never gone into a UPS store and been told I had to pay for them to print a UPS label. They are being paid for the return of the package. Why do I need to pay them to print their own label? I wouldn't be surprised if they start charging you to walk in the door to me. Absolutely horrendous. Dropped off a package to be shipped next day air to Chicago. They held onto the package for absolutely no reason for 7 days. They didn't even tell us they were doing so nor that there were some discrepancy with the package. After an investigation UPS found the package at the store and they returned it to our warehouse which is located less than 2 MILES away from the store and charged us another $30 on top of initially REFUSING to refund the $75 paid for a crucial next day air shipment that NEVER WAS SHIPPED. How does shipping a package 2 miles equal $30?!?!?! They claimed "hazardous material" since we marked the package as such because it was a small tablet with a battery. The thing is, for individual items like computers UPS doesn't even require small batteries inside them to be marked and shipped as hazardous materials...they just ship them. The package was declared as hazardous material with a small lithium ion battery simply as a professional courtesy towards UPS (also because it's standard practice to mark packages containing batteries as such so ISSUES SUCH AS THE ONE WE EXPERIENCED DON'T ARISE DURING SHIPPING!) UPS got rid of it's "no shipping batteries policy" years ago! So the STORE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW UPS' OWN POLICIES! UPS billing was even baffled because everybody knows you don't get charged for returned to sender shipments, especially not on the return trip back, but we got charged anyway. We ended up being charged $105 for a $75 package that never got delivered. Ended up mailing next day air via USPS (Post Office.) The Post Office asked ZERO questions, shipped the same tablet, packaged exactly the same, for a third of the price with NO ISSUES. 3+ months later we're still fighting UPS about these charges on our account since numerous random charges keep popping up in regards to that shipment. UPS' billing department is currently trying to fix the ridiculous charges that we received. The manager here needs to take accountability for the terrible service here and an investigation needs to be launched into the shady business practices. read more

No cell service in the store ( we tried two different phones on two different major carriers) and they don't have wifi. Pretty ridiculous that a business store doesn't have wifi in my opinion. Employees were rude about it as well. read more

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH AND THOSE AROUND YOU! No one in this store wears masks. They try to claim they all have health issues so they don't have too. I have asthma and I wear a 3 layer fabric mask plus a fiter with no problem. I have spoken to my doctor and was told it's ridiculous to claim you can't breath through cotton fabrics. These people are not just putting there own lives on the line but the are potentially spreading COVID-19 and don't care. By abusing and misusing the medical excuse they by pass the law. Anyone that went in that store that gets COVID-19...I would sue them! They have a lot of complaints filed against them. My advice stay away. There are other options in Surprise. read more

So I've used this place on server also occasions. This is now the second time I've showed up a few minutes before closing to find out the doors are locked 5-10 minutes before they close. That's very disappointing! Specially when the worker was sitting in her car at 4:57 meaning they have been closed quite a bit early. Door says 5pm. If your business says 5pm that's when the doors should be locked not 4:55 not 4:50. read more

I've been going here for 4 years. This woman must be a new manager, "Punti" or something like that...couldn't understand her name. Both her and her associate refused to allow me to use their packing tape for my return item...I needed tape on the ends of the package, that's it! Never before have I been told by an ups store I have to buy tape from them, that they wouldn't allow me to use their massive quantities of packing tape behind the counter. Heck, every other time they have even do me it for me. This was insane...long time customer lost over tape!! Then I hear, in a degrading tone, "take it up with UPS, hun." I'm not your "hun," also...you are UPS. Horrible experience...I will never go back to ANY UPS store, I'd advise others not to either of these are supposedly their new policies. read more

The customer service just isn't really there all the time with this location. I went to go do a return for a package I received from amazing and showed the barcode from my phone. The customer service rep did the transaction but didn't tell me that the way she was packaging my item had fees until she had practically finished everything. I went to usp to return a package from Amazon. They wanted to charge me $12 just to tape the return label onto the boxes. Seriously u that hard up for Money you need to charge customer to use the tape, not even alot of tape. I shipped my $2k pair of binoculars to get repaired from here. It showed it was shipped one day, then the label was printed the next day and now the package was mysteriously lost. I'm not buying it. I haven't been able to get any more details, other than it's lost and to call where I shipped it and see if they got it. I was looking to get a book shrink wrapped to ship. I called and asked if this was something that could be done and was informed it was easy and should cost about a dollar. When I got there the lady took my book to shrink wrap it and brought it back looking like a 10 year old did it and the. Informed me that it would be $8. I was shocked because I could've done what she did at home with plastic wrap and wouldn't have to spend $8. Disappointing. read more
