Made a quick stop to drop off a package. Didn't have to wait long, was done in couple of minutes. Got the confirmation receipt for my package. The store has most of the regular UPS services including printing, notary and shipping goods. The store appeared little gloomy and messy to be. Seems like it has aged a lot. I want to start this review by saying I work in healthcare and this was my one day off a week not working. Instead of running a few errands and relaxing, I had my entire day derailed by this place and their poorly trained staff. I would rate this store 0 stars if I could. I tried returning my package yesterday through Amazon. If any of you have done this before, you know you can just drop the item off at UPS and show them the code. The cashier here said it had to be packaged in a box with a mailing label, which was false. I showed him the return screen which said UPS would package it. He kept saying "I've don't this 600 times, you don't know what you're talking about". He was just so rude and condescending. I then show him my return screen and he says that Amazon is wrong....??? How ridiculous is that. Apparently the company that ordered the return has it wrong, yea right. So I go to another UPS in Hackensack to return the item (Who confirmed it DID NOT need to be boxed), but this Teaneck location had mistakenly accepted the return already so i couldn't do it through another location!! I called this store to make them cancel it, but they said it wasn't possible. They never explained why, just said they can't fix it and hung up. They make so many mistakes. Amazon had to completely cancel the return and I had to use another vendor to return my package because ups customer service couldn't undo this locations mistake since the store closed early yesterday. Most of my day off was spent fixing their errors. They really need to do their jobs better. All they had to do was scan my QR code and take the item, but even that was made into a huge issue. I also liked that he took initiative and asked me questions that I never even thought about asking which was very helpful in me making an informed decision. how the hell did this store get 4*. They are the worst I have experienced. do not go I went into this UPS Store on Cedar Lane, Teaneck, NJ a couple of weeks ago. I have never received such poor customer service before. I went to return a package to Temu. I had the code which I was able to open up at home. I was having trouble in the store and the rep said I can't do it for you. I thought he could assist me because he may have had experience in opening the codes where I have had others UPS stores assist me. Next thing I know he grabbing a package directly over my head from the next customer. I looked at him and said "I have never seen such a rude customer service rep. before." He asked "what did you say?" I said, and I was calm the entire time, "you did hear me correctly". He next said get out of this store before I call the police. I said "the truth hurts, doesn't it?" I said please do call the police as I would like to do a report how you refused me service for no reason. He didn't do shit. I asked to see the manager and he said I am. OMG, how is this possible, that a rude person can be put in such a position. I had another appt and couldn't wait to figure my code out. I later went to the UPS Store in Hackensack, which I give a 5 star as they not only helped me with the code, but was patient. Since the last review, a few things have changed; new management and knowledgeable service being the biggest. The store manager, Zach, has been very helpful with all of my shipping needs. But there's more to this store than shipping. They offer a wide range of services from printing to copying to mailbox rentals. There are a lot of services offered at reasonable prices. I've used their printing services several times and their work has been exemplary each time. The only problem, and it's a big one, is parking. This area of Cedar Lane is packed with businesses but there isn't enough parking to go around. If you're here to just drop off a package, then I'd risk double parking. FOLKS THIS IS NOT A UPS STORE THEY ARE CONTRATORS, They will steal your package and than blame it on UPS because they are not UPS Employers. Be Very Careful If you are using this location for shipping please make sure your package is closed and sealed and do not tell the young kids at the front desk what is inside the package because if it is something that they like the will steal it . I shipped my Kids Nintendo Switch to Nintendo for repair a month later Nintendo never got the package, went to the UPS Teaneck Store and they said to put a claim with UPS because they are not a UPS store they also stated that they Hate the UPS Store and that they are only contractors. I Contacted The Real UPS company and provided the tracking number provided by the Teaneck UPS and there was not records of shipping from the Teaneck store. The Nintendo switch that I shipped was equipped with a Tile Mate Gps Tag tracking Device and the last checking location of the Nintendo switch was 3 weeks after the shipping date and the location showing on the GPS was Teaneck. I like this location and the team there has served me well over several years. If you have any experience with having packages shipped (domestically or internationally) then you would quickly realize that their fees are fair and reasonable given the services they provide. Yes, any additional service required associated with prepping your package for shipping (if you did not prepare it properly at home beforehand) might incur additional fees - this is to be expected and not unusual. Finding parking close-by can be challenging particularly during the peak of business hours and during the afternoon weekday rush hour. Pretty typical for that stretch of Cedar Lane in Teaneck. Overall, I recommend them and will continue to frequent them for my shipping needs into the foreseeable future. read more

The staff here will lie about when a package can be delivered just so they can make a sale, even explicitly confirming that a package will arrive on time when they know that it will not. They also will not cooperate with customers working with their credit card companies to get issues remedied, as the person who answered the phone refused to give his name and cooperate. All UPSes are bad, they are individually run so are always disorganized and you never know what you are going to get service wise. I've been to some bad ones (are there good ones?). The guy who runs this one though is amazingly patient, friendly, and knowledgeable, even when faced with a long line piling up, a customer who is not very friendly or understanding, and a terrible employee for help. I have received respectful competent service every time I have used the Teaneck UPS. After reading some of the negative reviews, I felt offended that people would call the workers and owners animal names, I.e. "monkeys". That is so inappropriate, unacceptable and probably racist. I am glad that the store is in Teaneck on Cedar Lane. If I have a complaint, it's that the UPS truck is often doubled parked in front of the store which makes driving past the store difficult. Just wanted to take a moment to revise my original post. After submitting a formal complaint, Sam, the store owner reached out almost immediately to apologize and remedy the situation which was appreciated. Original post: I wish I could rank the overall experience and the store owner separately. Because I have had very pleasant interactions with the store manager, Zach, for the last two years, I feel obligated to give more than one star. I went in today to terminate/not renew my box (today being the last day I could do so before it would be seen as overdue). My business partner called the customer service number to find out what needs to be done to properly terminate since this was not just a personal box; she was told both parties need to be present otherwise I would have just returned the keys myself. Daniel was assisting us in this process and was being rather helpful, asking the questions he needed to and attempting to explain the forwarding fees (which I was not pleased to find out about today but was not at all Daniel's fault), when I hear someone from behind us barking answers at us and talking over Daniel and myself. I assumed by the presentation and how rudely I was being spoken to that this person was a disgruntled employee because not once did he come over to introduce himself as the store OWNER. He instead just spoke over me and interjected whenever Daniel tried to assist us further. This man then told us how a termination works is, "after 7 days that you don't renew, then you will be notified via email that your box has been terminated". I stated for business purposes (and for my own peace of mind because of the treatment we were receiving) I wanted confirmation that our box was closed. This man asked for an email address I wanted this sent to and he became visibly annoyed when I asked for the confirmation in writing. However, Daniel was very accommodating and apologized believing he was the one who had offended us and I assured him it was not him. I stated to him that I would call Zach to let him know that he was doing a great job, because I feel good service deserves just as much, if not more, recognition as negative ones. I did not find out the disgruntled employee was in fact the store OWNER until I was handed the confirmation letter with the name Sam Roney "Store Owner" at the closing. I only wish I had this interaction with Sam sooner because we definitely would've taken our business elsewhere. I will be sure to follow up with UPS Customer Relations. read more

If I could give 10 stars--I definitely would!! I was just there and I was served by Daniel. I have NEVER EVER been treated as special from any store employee as I was by him. I came totally unprepared with my wrapping. As I was looking for a corner to lie my 2 boxes down so that I could tape them and label them, Daniel instructed me to bring them to him. He said he didn't want anyone to have to do the work. He taped my boxes up with his tape, even though I had brought my own. I never would have done such a professional job as he did! He then took my label and put it in a plastic sleeve and attached it to the box. And then ever so kindly he said to me 'can you lift this box?' I said yes. He then said Unfortunately, I can't deliver this box for you, because it's a Fed Ex label but you can take it right down the corner to the Walgreens because they have a drop box there. This is one of the worst businesses I have encountered in my life. I tried to ship artwork overseas. First it took them over a day to give me an estimate and I had to leave the boxes on site. When they finally came up with an estimated price for the shipping, it was over a thousand dollars which I had to turn down. When I came to pick up the packages, the guy at the counter was rude and pissed off that I wasn't going through with the shipping after "he had put in all that work." Unfortunately, I didn't feel responsible that the employees never learned how to price oversea shipments and that it took him a day to figure it out. I paid them for the packaging services and shipped it USPS for fraction of the cost. The real kicker to this story is that they actually charged me over $1000 for the shipping that I turned down! I disputed the charge with my credit card company without issue but the store owner and their employees are bona fide crooks in my book. read more
