This place is BUSY. My friend who has ALS, buys all kinds of stuff she doesn't need. Her disease has progressed where she can no longer drive. So I am the return queen...(for things I never bought). lol. Every single time I have been there, the staff are amazing. I sometimes have no idea what the protocol is, and they have never made me feel like "look old woman, get a clue" lol. I was turned away for not having my returns in a return package because it's from TT shop. Almost pointed out to the supplies in the store. 1st time here never returning. I drove to my closest UPS Store no issues with my returns and no need to have in a return package. I'm pretty sure they just do their own rules to make $ but not right when other UPS stores don't do that. read more

This is a busy location, yet whenever I am in there they have enough staff and the staff are friendly, helpful, and are always hustling to get people through quickly. I've also seen some of the same employees there for a long time, so I feel like maybe whomever runs this location does a decent job taking care of their people - which we, as customers, appreciate. I have been using this as my main mailing address for a couple years. Their customer service is absolutely amazing there. Cynthia and all of the crew are always helpful, very efficient, greet me by my first name every time I walk in and help me carry out packages that are too heavy. If I'm waiting for an insured letter to arrive, they me how that will work, they've explained to me how to send things insured and signature required. They provide customer service to everyone in a very timely manner. Now, I'm gonna tell you it's the staff that works there that is making it a wonderful environment. I hope that they don't go anywhere because if they move to another one, I would have to follow this staff!!! on another note, it's very convenient because it's right next to Albertsons and there's a chocolate iguana just a few storefronts down and fairly easy to get in and out of the parking lot. Between suggestions on how to properly pack, going through each invoice carefully, and making sure we were aware of the price of each item, he didn't break a sweat in getting five boxes to five separate addresses. Customer sensitive and oriented. Every time i visit, either to ship or for an Amazon return, it is first-class service. Helped me get the best address to send books to the Petrified Forest when the address provided did not work. Went the extra mile for us. Amazon returns work well and easy. It helps them when I follow the Amazon instructions before bringing in the return item. Rarely a wait, always friendly and give smiles as part of the helping the customer. This UPS store seems understaffed, undertrained, and under-equipped to provide adequate customer service. The stress and negativity are palpable in this store. I don't blame the staff, they're only working with what the corporation provides them. UPS... do better, add staff to this store, and give the equipment and customer service training to actually provide good customer service. For a completely different, helpful, positive experience, I recommend going across the street to the Fed Ex location near WalMart. This store responded to my Jan 24, 2024 Yelp review (see copy below) about how they lost my package. I find their response very disingenuous. They say they understand my "frustration with the delay of your shipment." Delay?? This package is not "delayed." It is lost. This UPS Store lost it. The tracking page for USPS #92023999991095594013176400 still shows that USPS is waiting for the item, well over a month after I dropped it off at this UPS Store. This UPS Store never passed it on to USPS as they promised they would. In their response they also say "If I can offer further assistance, please contact me directly..." I contacted them. They have not responded at all. They certainly could offer me assistance. They could take responsibility for losing my package and either find it or compensate me with $37.90 which is what their loss of my package cost me. Evidently they don't want to take responsibility. Here is my original review, written on Jan 24, 2024: On Jan 11, 2024 I dropped off a package at this UPS Store that had a prepaid return label with a tracking number. The staff assured me the package would be picked up by USPS the next day. Now 13 days later the tracking number on the USPS website shows that USPS is still waiting for the package! Apparently the package somehow got lost or disappeared at this UPS Store. It was a return on a defective item, and once it arrived at its destination, I was to get a refund of $37.90. So I've lost the $37.90. Ironically the package was destined for a "UPS Mail Innovations Returns" center, which is why I took it to a UPS Store, not realizing that it nevertheless had to get there via USPS. I now deeply regret not taking it directly to the Post Office. I strongly recommend not dropping off any packages at this store. Evidently it's quite unreliable. read more

Cynthia is an absolute gem. My wife and i go in all the time to drop mail for the USPS however it does not matter thatit has nothing to do with UPS. She is such a kind and compassionate person that to her it matters not that our mail is going with USPS. Her employess likewise are fantastic. To the Franchise Owner of this UPS STORE: Why do you have an employee serving the public at the counter of your store not wearing a mask? When I asked her why she wasn't wearing one, she claimed a medical condition. I am aware that there are almost no - only very, very rare medical conditions that would cause someone to be unable to wear a mask. Even if she truly does have that rare condition - it endagers your customers if she is allowed to work the counter, directly facing people she is serving. PLEASE CORRECT THIS! I had to return a damage item to Amazon, the first UPS store wanted me to buy a new container and wanted to charge me for tape. This location provided tape, and did their best to make the current package work. They understood that I was returning and item that was damaged in the shipping and damage the product I ordered in return. They didn't even charge me for tape. read more

I went to return some Amazon things which I have done here once before without a box. The employee said I needed to have it in something like an envelope or box and would not do it. He was not very helpful or friendly. I told him I would return it at kohl's he did not offer any options so I left. The instructions from Amazon said I don't need to have a label or box . This is for the employee who opened the store on 8/7/2022. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. The guy has the worst attitude and deserved to be disciplined, including employment terminnation. If you are having a bad day, leave it at home and don't take it out on a customer at work. If you are not having a bad day, then you shouldn't work there. Find a job where you do not need to interact with people. Based on his degrading attitude and his mouth, I left and took my business elsewhere. I would not be back - ever. I'd suggest all readers do the same. I waited outside for it to open. However, with the temperature in the high 90's, it was becoming unbearably hot. Seeing that your UPS store, like any other UPS store, keeps the front door unlocked so patrons can go in and get their mail from the mailboxes (still with the interior metal barrier down), I thought I'd wait inside at around 9:50AM. However, as soon as I open the door, your employee yelled out from behind the metal barrier, "Wait outside and CLOSE the door". OK. That's fine, you don't want me to wait inside? I will just keep waiting outside. At 10:02AM, your employee lifted up the interior metal barrier (I assume to open the store). As soon as the barrier was lifted, I opened the front door to enter. As soon as I opened the door, I hear your employee yelled out "I thought I told you to close the door!", with a disgusting look on his face. At this this point, this is where the behavior is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! You just opened up the store and I still can't come in?? Additionally, even if you are not ready, you could talk to me in a normal human way. At this point, I said to your employee "Fine, I will just take my business elsewhere" and I left. Also, I am not quite certain what security policy you guys have since you (like other UPS stores) leave the front door unlocked 24 hours days (so people may get their mail) but you won't allow a paying customer to wait inside (or even come in after you open) with the hot temperature outside?? I am not sure when you guys decide whether someone can enter the front door or not? This store is always great, but I decided to leave a review because of a great experience my partner had recently. Ester went above and beyond to help him. While he was going to ship out a router, Ester noticed it was from Century Link. She let him know that she had often seen customers have issues with sending routers to them. She suggested he take the tracking number and printed out that information for him. Sure enough, a few months later we had Century Link try to claim the router was never delivered. Because he had that tracking number, we were able to avoid the ridiculous fees. If it wasn't for Ester going out of her way to help, we wouldn't have thought to grab that tracking number. Thanks to Ester for her great service, and we'll definitely be going back to this location for any of our shipping needs. read more

Jeb was the man who was at the counter for me here. He did not greet me or acknowledge me. I was told to put my ATT&T equipment on the scale by a different employee. He only looked down and at the computer. He then tried to give me back all the cords that ATT supplied me. I asked him "oh you don't need this main power cord?" He said "oh actually I do need that one, I think I only need the device and power cord." Reluctantly I said "you think or are you sure?" (Because nobody wants to be charged for non returned devices, right?) and he responds sharply "I've worked here for 3 years." So this was a completely unnecessary response and attitude the whole interaction just sucked. He had already made one mistake that I caught, I was just trying to prevent another. On 11/10/2020 I saw a promotion on the internet, UPS had a promo going for 40% off off packaging using the promo code PIVOT, HOLIDAY or EASY. So I called the customer service line to make sure it was correct as well as can be used for shipments to Canada. The Customer Service Representative on the phone told me it applies to instore packages as well as to Canada and Mexico. I asked him if he know which stores are participating and he told me the UPS on La Cholla is. I drove down to that store all the way from Saddlebrooke to get the promotion and when I got there the staff was rude and dismissive as well as the manager. I took a screen shot of the promotion and she said "some stores participate and some do not and her store does not." And my screen shot did not validate the promotion because I did not have proof but she would gladly take competitors coupons. On top of that... I was doing returns. I brought about 12 items and put them in one box( I did not know you could not do this, they were all bought off amazon.) Only some of my items were accounted as a return and some say pending. So I called back today on 11/11/2020 to ask why I haven't seen the entire refund. The gentleman was nice and stated "he remembered me and that he was sure that he accounted for all of them". I asked "do you know why I didn't get my entire refund and why amazon is saying they haven't received them" he states "no you should have recieved them unless YOU gave me the wrong bar code." Which is odd because I gave him the bar code for all the items, I even had 4 different sheets printed as well as used the bar codes off of my phone for proof of return! I am very disappointed because not only did I drive 40+ min to see them for the promotion, now I am out on money for returns I did but not receiving my money back and I no longer have the items. Date of review, Oct 18 2020: My complaint isn't with the service, which was good. However, it looks like this store's policy (Store #3247) is that neither employees nor customers should wear a facemask or face covering. I say that because the only store employee I saw had no mask, nor did the 2 couple being helped. I saw a posting on the front door from Pima County giving public notice that employees at this store were observed not wearing masks. In other words, Pima County knows employees there don't wear masks, and I witnessed the same. As I was leaving, 2 older customers came in wearing masks, and they looked startled at the situation. It is irresponsible, inexcusable and unacceptable that this store is not having employees, nor customers wear face masks when we're in a local, national and global pandemic, which is currently worsening. It is also very common in Tucson that masks are required (all of the grocery stores, drug stores and take-out restaurants that we go to require it) Yes I could have boycotted this store, and should have but it was minutes before closing, there were no other UPS stores open, and I was out in 2 minutes. I have held a box at this store for over ten years. Most of the people working there are very nice and very helpful, but I have a huge grievance: A few times a year they put my mail in another person's box, and someone else's mail in MY box. This error seems unforgivable to me. All they need to do is put the mail in the CORRECT box! How hard can that be? I don't feel comfortable possibly having my credit card bills or other important pieces of mail going into some stranger's hands. Today it happened again, and I just don't feel secure knowing that these mistakes are made a few times a year. They are always very polite when I complain, but it's still wrong and potentially dangerous. Plus, I have the chore of going back to their store to return it so they can finally put it in the right box. I just hope that when MY mail ends up in the wrong box, the recipient is honest enough to return it to the store. But I'll never know for sure. For the cost of the box (over $200 a year), the least they can do is sort the mail correctly, don't you think? read more
