I went in today to drop off an item. I did not read the directions clearly but the woman helping me was willing to help and tape up my package. However, please note, that tape adds up and she pays for that, not the company. While she was a sweetheart and helped me out, she does this all day long. That tape adds up. If we read our directions she wouldn't be paying for tape. As a community we should be supportive and kind. She was that to me, but next time I can at least do my part. Thank you again!!! Did not have a good experience here which is disappointing because I have been a long time UPS customer. I have a complicated situation and rather than trying to help or listen the lady at the front desk kept repeating that she couldn't help me. She then said my package was refused, which it never was, and returned it to the sender. She decided to lie about my package, which was an expensive and important package. I am a 20 year old college student living alone, in between housing so I do not have my own address right now, I needed to get this package as it as a phone so I can communicate with my family. I cannot believe she took the liberty to send it back to the company and say it was refused, when it was not. When I asked her for her name her response was "the owner". As I asked to clarify she started to spell it in a condescending way "t" "h" "e" and repeated "the owner". I'm very disappointed with the customer service at this UPS Store location. My daughter, who is a college student, called to inquire about shipping some boxes, and the female employee was extremely rude to her. Instead of answering her questions, she told my daughter she was in the middle of fingerprinting and referred her to the website, which my daughter found confusing and why she was calling. When I called to follow up, the same employee was rude to me as well. She even hung up on me twice and, when asked for her name, unprofessionally claimed her name was "da owner." This experience was completely unacceptable, and I expect better customer service, especially when assisting young people who are trying to learn how to handle things independently. Absolutely terrible experience at this UPS store. As soon as we walked in, the owner, Merry F., was unbelievably rude for no reason. No greeting, no basic customer service--just straight attitude. She acted like we were inconveniencing her just by existing. I've never had such an unprofessional and unwelcoming interaction at a business. If you hate dealing with customers, maybe don't run a store that requires it? As stated in other reviews, she'll slap it in your face that she's "the owner," as if that justifies her awful attitude. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else. I'll also be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau because no customer should be treated this way. Adding to my review after the owners response: That's not how this happened at all. First, there were no other customers in the store when we arrived--your dog actually greeted us before you did. Also, the rug was not 20 feet; it was an 8x10 area rug. Before we even fully stepped inside, you were already yelling that it needed to be in a box. We simply told you that it didn't come in a box, just rolled in plastic, and when we offered to show you a picture as proof, you immediately told us to leave. So, there's a blonde woman with short hair working there whom I've never seen before. I've been to this location a few times since I moved to Tucson, and the two girls who have worked there were amazing. However, this woman was the rudest person I've ever met. I went in with three rugs, one delivered in plastic. She told me that UPS might not take it because it's not packaged. I explained it was packaged but not in the typical way you'd define it and that it didn't come in a box. She said she'd call me if they refused, but I said it's okay, I'll take it to another UPS store. I asked her to scan these two other items for Amazon, and she refused, saying to do it at the other UPS store. I explained it was too heavy for me to carry. She refused and walked away, starting to help someone else. I don't understand this treatment. I wasn't rude; I even apologized for any inconvenience. Yet, she ignored me, acted like a petulant child, and walked away, then I saw her grabbing the phone, saying she's calling security. She never asked me to leave; she just walked away and refused to scan my packages, telling me to go somewhere else. The only thing I can understand from all this is that this woman is 100% racist or just a lunatic. I walked out in disbelief. Never in my life have I been treated in such a way. So far, this has been a very pleasant store, up until this woman. If she's their boss, I feel sorry for any employee because she's straight-up evil and should not be interacting with any customers. I'm incredibly upset; I'm just sitting in my car unable to drive because I can't stop crying. I never imagined encountering such negativity from people who still harbor such toxic attitudes in environments where individuals should feel respected and valued, not belittled by their ignorant and racist behavior. There's another UPS store a couple of miles away, and I highly recommend spending your money there. Unless you want to support a racist, by all means, continue to come to this place where this blonde, white 60-year-old woman thinks it's okay to treat people who are different from her, and more intelligent, like trash in order to exert her power over them. The image posted is what really upset her: I explained that this was how it was packed and delivered to me. She kept insisting that it's from Amazon and not properly packaged. I expressed my confusion. Sensing her confusion, I felt better taking it to another store because I didn't trust her. My gut feeling was 100% right because she turned 100% psycho on me. Just a brief covid visit, so things can change. I just had to drop off a return prepaid UPS package. Small store with mail boxes, copy machines and all the mail items. They enforced masks, had hand sanitizer and social distancing. The drop off person did not offer me a receipt which most places usually will offer. I don't doubt they would have given if I asked, but odd they did not offer. (I did confirm it was in the system and delivered) I was curious on the prices on a mail box, but it was more than I wanted for the convenience of being near my work. I recently visited the UPS Store for an Amazon return, and my experience was quite disappointing. I had my items packed in an Amazon box, taped and ready to go. When I arrived, I noticed that the tape on the bottom of the box was coming off. I asked the staff member if she could tape it for me, considering it is a UPS store with plenty of tape available. To my surprise, she told me I needed to buy tape from them or walk home (a 20-minute round trip) to re-tape the box myself. This wasn't the first time I encountered poor customer service at this location. Previously, I went there to get a quote for shipping my laptop to Germany. The staff member was unhelpful and told me that she wouldn't provide a detailed quote unless I was committed to shipping it right then. She mentioned it would cost over $300 but didn't give any further information. I later researched online and found out that the high cost was due to Germany's 20% customs tax. I was able to get my shipping labels online from UPS for $200, a detail she could have easily shared. The customer service is unprofessional, and the staff member lacks the ability to provide helpful information. Additionally, the store has a dog that roams around freely, which causes the store to have an unpleasant smell. The dog sometimes jumps on customers, which could be an issue for those who are sensitive or allergic to animals. The staff member is unfriendly and rude, making the overall experience even worse. If you have other options, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. It's unfortunate because this store is the closest to me, but I will not be returning. It is old lady with blond hair. read more

After all the runaround that I got from Federal Express regarding taping and trying to ship a package and being at the wrong location after going to two different locations, the the kindness and professionalism that I was greeted with the dislocation was definitely refreshing. UPS Store tried to steal my shipment? UPS Store 6850 Address: 31N 6th Ave, Suite 105 Tuscon, AZ 85701-1503 520- 347-3508 Terminal: PO56850A UPS Employee number: 197122 On Saturday, Feb 5, 2022 we returned a defective Drone we purchased to Amazon via this UPS store. We had to buy a box to return the valuable Drone. The woman attendant said she could not 'scan' the shipment now because she was too busy. There was no one else in the store and I became suspicious. I also had a valuable electronic stolen by a FedEx employee we were returning at a FedEx store. I was in a hurry and did not realize there was no mention of the shipping address, item, tracking number, or other documentation of this transaction on the receipt I was handed. (see photo) The receipt only covered the purchase of the box used for shipment -and nothing else. I was suspicious and complained there was no documentation of this shipping. The clerk became rude and huffy, saying it was in UPS and Amazon's hands now and I was protected- and no longer permitted to interfere. I became further suspicious and insisted on taking a photograph of the packaged drone UPS label to document the shipment. The clerk did not want this photograph taken, complaining loudly but finally permitted my photo after an argument. If I did not have that photo- I am certain this clerk would have stolen the package and never returned it to Amazon. I finally looked at the receipt Saturday night and realized there was no protection or mention of the shipment. I felt robbed, but the UPS store was now closed. I called on Monday, and the same employee answered. Realizing who I was, she said I was shouting and rude, so she could not answer my questions. I was upset, but her stonewalling and obfuscation made me sure she was a thief. She would not let me talk, said I had all the necessary information, and hung up on me. My repeated tracking attempts for the package failed on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday using the tracking number from the photo of the package label. I called the UPS store again on Tuesday, and the same woman answered. She repeatedly asked for the tracking number and said three times the tracking number I gave her was invalid. Further, she said she could not talk to me because I was rude. I told her I was still in town and coming over there, and her tune immediately changed. She said the tracking number indicated the package had shipped Tuesday (just now), not Saturday, and would be received by Amazon on Friday, Feb 17, 2022. She would not give her name to me or any other information and loudly complained I was badgering her. I believe she shipped the package only today when she was certain I would not let this go. A call later that day to the store's owner was shockingly the same. She defended the employee blindly, saying there was NO Problem, the package had shipped, and I was making false accusations. I never once said I thought the package had been stolen. She would not answer why the package had only just shipped four days after it was dropped off. The owner would not give out her name either and said no documentation of Amazon Returns is provided to the client ?? If this is true, I am wrong. If this is not true,- UPS has a stolen electronics problem they are not addressing. FedEx has it too. I then called Amazon, and they indicated the package had been shipped only today (Tuesday) and should be received on Friday. I cannot confirm they attempted to steal this valuable drone, but you decide. read more

I just had the most incredible experience at this store! After attending the Gem and Mineral show in Tucson to purchase inventory for my store in NYC, Merry helped me in packing and shipping about 300 lbs of fragile crystals and minerals- spending time to wrap each of the boxes by hand to make sure they were as protected as possible. Merry is extremely detailed and professional, I really felt that she listened and then cared a lot about what I needed, and I trusted her implicitly to pack and ship all the inventory. She is also super friendly and kind (she gave my dog a treat!), and made the whole process easy and actually really enjoyable, even though it could have been a very stressful process. Do NOT use this store as a "UPS Access Point" to pick-up your UPS package. Owner wants MONEY to do what other UPS Access Points offer for FREE. You can select this store as a UPS Access Point from UPS' website, but unless you rent a box from this UPS Store, and pay them, they will refuse your package. I have no idea why they list this UPS Store as a "UPS Access Point" to drop off your package when they do not offer this service. read more

I'm glad that you've demonstrated that you evade the point of truth and veracity. The very point of a receipt is for the customers' protection to prove that you received the package. As you are stating, there is no evidence that you acknowledge receiving the package at all. Anyone can have or take a picture of a tracking number. This isn't rocket science to anyone except maybe you. In terms of your insistence of being eco-friendly, why can you not scan the package there and then email a receipt to the customer so that the customer has proof that you did, in fact, accept and take custody of the damn package? Or perhaps you can use biodegradable receipts if you believe that the receipts seldom used there do not breakdown over time in landfills. I have been perfectly cordial to you at all times. You simply don't like it apparently that former customers are unhappy with your strange business practice of not providing a receipt for packages that you take custody of. That frankly is a bit puzzling and perhaps bizarre. I counted three other reviews in which other former customers have complained about not getting receipts from you. Rather than trying to win an exchange, perhaps you could get onboard with the normal practices of business in this country and provide receipts to every customer you serve in your store. I know of 4 on Yelp that likely would still be your customers. You've done this to yourself and introspection is a practice that you'd do well to engage in. Good luck to you. If I could leave zero stars I would. I shipped a pkg over a week ago. Printed the label at there store. I asked the young ladies in the front if I could get a receipt. They said, they dont Print receipt which I find very awkward. Well a week goes by I call USPS. Apparently it's been scanned but not shipped meaning it hasn't left the store. I call the UPS store and ask to speak to the manager she replies Im the owner and refused to give me her name. I asked question in a normal tone and she cutting me, dismissing me and stating I need to stop yelling, which I did not yell at her ever. It was almost comical. Another character gets on the phone then they both start being really rude as explained myself. I think that store just stole my pkg. I generally use the store on golflinks and Kolb and never and I mean never had a problem and recieved a receipt as well. I STRONGLY ADVISE EVERYONE BEWARE OF THIS STORE. I went in wanting to send a few boxes of stuff home I'm on a motorcycle trip across the country and it's hot and the lady gave me a 16 x 16 box was one piece of tape on the bottom I asked if she could put two more across the bottom for support she said it's not my store it's not my rules I can't there's rolls over on the display for six dollars she wanted me to buy a roll of tape for two strips of tape and I was like now it's not worth it and I started to walk out the door with the box to go load the stuff off my motorcycle she comes running after me saying she doesn't feel comfortable letting a box go even though she could see me right in front with my motorcycle so I reached in my pocket to hand her my keys for collateral and she got down like a millennial acting all crazy like I was going to hit her which of course I would not ever and asked me to leave the store so worst customer service ever not willing to work with the customer wasn't friendly no customer service didn't seem happy to be there I think she needs to find a new job so I went down the street and spend a couple hundred dollars at the other UPS store read more

The nice woman working at the shop matched my urgency, was efficient and got me out the door on time.... a major improvement from the last UPS where I had to wait in line (everyone moving super slow) to only find out that they could not do what I needed (and was advertised). I was visiting Tucson and had to make a quick set of copies for a presentation at the University. It was early on a weekend day, and it seemed no one else was open. I thought i was going to one of those chain stores like Kinko-Fedex where finding a knowledgeable staffer would be hit or miss. I was so lucky to go in while the owner was there!! She was so kind as she helped me load up my documents and make color copies quickly. No fuss. She's ex-military, and this is her own small business!
