Excellent customer service! I've been going to this UPS for years and I've always had great service. The staff is really helpful and friendly. And I've had no issues. Recently, I had an issue with a guaranteed package being delayed due to an unforeseen issue with UPS. Neelema at UPS, amazed me by being on top of tracking this package even before I told her. If you want horrible customer service, go ahead and go here. Employees were not friendly at all (except for the guy that helped me out with my last return) which didn't bother me at first cause it was the nearest location from where I was at. My last encounter with them was when I dropped off a return. I had no idea that my return had to be packed so I had to buy a $6 poly bag, no big deal. And after paying this lady showed up out of nowhere and abruptly said "you need to do this but this time i'll do it!" With an attitude I was going to do it but it all happened so fast. so I replied with "i can do it." and I kept insisting "I'll go do it". I just left and i'm never going back there again. I've had two encounters with them One was this last incident and another was when I was trying to open up a business mailbox... they required more stuff and I told them I'm in touch with my lawyer and she told me that it's like "who came first the chicken or the egg kind of thing". I give up on this location. I went to the UPS in 35640 fremont blvd. and they are THE BEST. definitely the total opposite of this store. read more

I had called by accident asking if they do large photos for a celebration of life service I was leaving the state for in 24 hours. Neeraj took my phone call and told me to come in before they closed that day. I ordered more than I thought at a very reasonable price. They got it done under 24hrs. I will moving forward always go here for my needs! They worked so diligently despite being extremely busy in the store. Best customer service I've had in a retail store in a long time. I must express my extreme disappointment for the horrible customer service at this branch. I requested a notary for my son's birth certificate (a process which should take no more than 5 minutes). Ahead of me was a customer with 10 large boxes for shipping - he kindly asked if I'd like to proceed ahead of him given my rather simple task against his large order. The notary on duty abruptly said "no - I can't do that" in a brusque and cold manner. When I asked the notary how much time she would need to assist the customer ahead of me she responded "as much time as it takes". Simply put - the employees here think incredibly linear and have no understanding of urgency or triage. Even if the notary was following company protocol her response to me was bereft of professional courtesy. I suggest that the owner of this branch re-evaluates employee engagement with customers. Lastly, I agree other reviewers who've mentioned the extremely slow processing times and non-chalant attitude of the employees here in general. I am hardly a first time patron to this branch and have witnessed, on countless occasions, lines out the door and visibly frustrated patrons. There seems to be no sense of professionalism at all here. Henceforth this location has permanently lost my business - I simply refuse to give my money in exchange for such substandard treatment. I needed to do an Amazon return and was near this store but wasn't sure if it was still open. I got to the store at 4:15 and I saw the door wide open and customers at the counter so went in and was serviced simultaneously with another customer who was getting a package mailed. While Neelema was processing my return she mentioned that the store really closed at 3 but she kept it open to accommodate customers who needed help. I was quickly and efficiently assisted with getting two returns processed and am extremely appreciative of the service. read more

notary person is not available in the morning. i thought every ups store has a notary person from the time they open. I'm disappointed. But if you will call the store they will tell you that the notary person is available 7days a week from morning to closing. Amazon return is fine. read more

Quite possibly the worst Ups store in the area! Extremely slow, wait 20 minutes and then they will find some excuse to not take your Amazon return and ask you to talk to Amazon to figure it out. The notary wants to charge you extra for notary certification. Do yourself a favor and go to the UPS store in newarf or Fremont: Helpful, take Amazon returns without causing you trouble and don't charge you for notary certifications or a small piece of tape! read more

Called ahead if appointment needed for passport photos. None needed for any of their services, good to know. They were patient in taking the photos, guided how to pose and advised tucking long hair behind the ear. Definitely not a rushed job. You would get a set of two 2x2 photos for $19.99. Great service. Do not use ups for any notary services. I had to go back to this branch to have some notary paperwork fully completed, due to the screw up of the notary. That is what you get for not paying attention to the customer. Well. I had her re fax and complete the notary forms. Faxed and completed for free. I thought the paperwork was completed until i received an e mail from the company that i was submitting the paperwork. Boy was i wrong. I went back the 3rd time to get it rectified after i spoke to the company and they told me that her signature and stamp had to be on one of the papers. She stated that according to California notary rules she could not sign that document. I later contacted the Company and they stated that they needed that page filled out. Now i am caught between the ups notary and a large company in order to complete said paperwork. I spent 5 taxi fares , notary fee and faxing fee for what.$90 wasted and NOTHING done!!! I will never use UPS notary services, because this is not the first time they screwed up notary paperwork. BTW this was the 3rd attempt on getting this paperwork complete. I will find another non ups notary for future services. read more

Wow, wow, wow!! I got there with only three people ahead of me and I walked out after 25 minutes! There were two people working and both were super slow taking care of their customers. As I looked back after five minutes of being there, the lines started getting long. The women at the counter kept chatting away with their customers while being oblivious of the crazy long line of people anxiously waiting to get help. To top it off, my package was not picked up until three days later! Three days! Is this normal? It wasn't a holiday. I dropped it off last Friday and made sure to be there before the UPS driver picked up the packages. Three days! Now, my client can't get her order on time as promised. Unless you like waiting in line and not have your packages delivered on time, do yourself a favor and don't go to this UPS store. read more

15 minutes after leaving the store, I called and asked to pull my box and cancel the shipment. Was told to come after 1230 when a manager would be present. I arrive and the box was shipped! the staff is incompetent. I was assured via phone they would pull the box - obviously they didnt!!! I will not return to this store. read more

Terrible terrible service!! This place will piss you off!! 1. The guy in front of me needed a strip of tape for a box no bigger than 3". They had a huge roll of tape on the counter but refused to give him any tape. Said he had to buy a $5 roll! 2. Every time I come here there is always an issue! If Im not physically having the issue someone in line is!!! 3. As i type this email, another lady is arguing because she got nickel and dimed! She was charged to send an email after paying for the service. Naleema was just plain rude and argued with her all the way to the door! 4. I had my own separate issues with Naleema! She is a constant issue at this store! When she starts argument with customer you can tell by the expressions on the other staff members faces that they've seen this before and are so frustrated with Naleema too! but what can they do because she's the manager!! read more

We've been coming to this UPS store for years now, even though there is one 5 minutes from my house. Had to make some returns and was skeptical of coming back here because I've read that this location was under new ownership and that things were slipping based on some of the recent reviews. However, that was not the case for my most recent visit here. The lady that helped was was friendly and patient while we were getting our codes ready to scan. There was a line but it moved fairly quickly as they had multiple staff members assisting customers. So, perhaps I got lucky? I hope this isn't a fluke and that the service at this location continues to be good. For years, this place had a 4 1/2 star rating...sad to see it has gone down to a 3 1/2 star rating now. read more

I went here to scan some documents and email them to myself. I had about 25 pages to scan. They told me it would be a dollar per page, PLUS a service fee of another dollar per page to email it to myself. This would have cost me over $50, which is insane!! I called Fex Ed and they charge 49 cents per page. Much more reasonable. This place tends to get really crowded, and service can be really really slow. The workers will also multitask, which slows things down even more. Giving them 2 stars only because some of the folks who work there seem like nice people. read more
