I've shipped several items through this store. It's convenient to just hand over your stuff and have them pack it, label it, etc. Had an issue one time with an insured package arriving broken. I went to my closest ups store, and their sign said they closed at 6pm, but it was 5:10 and they were closed. So I called this location, and the yelp hours said 6pm also. The guy answering the phone said they closed at 5:30! Luckily, I made it on time. There were a couple of people ahead of me, but it went fast. Two or three people were at the punter and they took my amazon return package, gave me a receipt, and I was out in a minute! read more

I went here today to do some Amazon returns. The male and female employees working were both rude, but mostly the female employee. She was rude to me as well as several other customers that were in the store at the same time. But worse than her rudeness, she was coughing with out covering her mouth and she had a face mask that was not on her face, It was hanging down on her neck. Hello, we are in the middle of a pandemic! Common sense and i think there is a law about wearing a face mask in stores and public. She is working there and not wearing it and coughing all over the place. By far one of the worst postal services I have ever used. More than half my mail never received, the other half was somebody's else's. When i complained they just blew me off!? The staff was incompetent, absentee landlord/owner and everybody blames everybody when packages don't show up. It's amazing that people pay for this very expensive service. So if you don't want to receive your mail by having this address please throw your money away by using them. Wow! Unfortunately I arrived 5minutes after closing on a Saturday to drop an envelope off for a PO Box (no stamp) like I do every month for the past 24 months. Glared at by a white hair lady at the register while I stand at locked front door she says "what do you need" through the mail slot I yell I need to drop off letter. One start is one too many for this place. Let's see the first time I used them the guy entered the wrong address in the system and the packet went to the wrong city. I called spoke to management and they returned the money. So I gave them a second chance. This time they returned the packet back to their office. When I get there asking what happen the SAME guy said that they couldn't find it and it was not his problem. At that point I'm so upset and I tell him. It is your problem. You are responsible for my packet. Eventually he found it. Never said sorry. All he had to say was "OK". To make matters worse some other employees were right behind him and they look like his behavior was OK. Avoid this place, they will take your money and lose your packets and never even apologize for it. HORRIBLE!!! read more

I called the day before to see what time this place closes and was clear to let them know I would need some forms notarized and the person who answered the phone said 530pm. I get there today at 412 and waited 20 min in line, once I get to the front the gentlemen who has a name tag on that says NOTARY (as in that is his job) informed me that notarizing ended @ 430!!! 430???? This post is about a UPS experience. Found a UPS package in the middle of my residential street on Saturday afternoon 1/30/21. Called them at 3:30 pm and they said they would call back at 4:30. They did not. Called again at 8:30 pm and they said there was nothing they could do until Monday. I said I didn't want to be responsible for their lost package that long and a supervisor said I should just leave it in the street where I found it. Unbelievable. Finally a UPS drive showed up at 8:30pm on Monday to retrieve the package. All three times I called, UPS seemed very unconcerned that a package they were responsible for was found in the middle of the street ready to be stolen or run over. I will avoid using UPS when ever possible. read more

I just needed to drop off a package but wanted a receipt because it was a return. Took more than 10 minutes even though there were 3 employees and I was the next customer the ENTIRE time. I specifically requested I needed a package (envelope) to be delivered in 8 days, as this was a legal matter. Was told it would arrive in 5 days. No problem and I was charged $13+ for it to arrive by ground. Here we are 10 days later and this document still hasn't arrived in the Nashville area. I was told it was in Memphis (8 days later) and "hopefully" will get there by 10 days later. FYI - The US Postal Service delivers an envelope within 5-10 days anywhere in the US. Why in the world would I go back to pay for tracking a package that doesn't arrive on time and be charged an additional amount? Beware public and use a reputable delivery service. You can drive to TN from CA in two days, by giving them the benefit of the doubt and tripling that to 6 days and another two days to walk it to the address equals 8 days. Went back to see why I was charged the $13+, and now I was told there is no guarantee of delivery by a set date using ground service. "When it absolutely needs to be there" I suggest using the competitor service. Good grief, poor customer service and poor delivery of a service. read more

Even if you've written the address on the box, you have to stand on the side, fill out paperwork anyway, and then wait to return to the same person UPS Store: 1. You're the only one there or at most maybe one person in front of you 2. They already have previously used addresses in their computer so it takes no time at all BOTTOM LINE: The service is excellent and you're in and out in minutes. What more do you want? read more

Just walked in the store, gave the information to the gentleman behind the counter, and as he was measuring the box, I told him the size is 18x18x18 as it was also printed on the box, but he took his measuring tape and I guess with the packaging bubbles it was 18.10 on one side. So he says the box it 19x19x19...hmmmm, I wonder where he got that 1 extra inch??? Mind I tell you I've been a shipping store owner previously and that's how they make the extra $$$. So after I told him that, he said he can't go back and change it, be cause its clearly. 10 larger than 18 on 1 side. I told him I would take it to another store, and accepted it and said bye. So is this what customer service is about? This is how retailers lose customers, I will never stop into this store, just because of the guys attitude and incompentcy. Service above and beyond... I mailed a rather valuable, fragile package UPS Ground over the holiday and it arrived pretty damaged to the recipient. I had declared its value at purchase and made sure it was insured. Steve at UPS Store filed my claim, but since UPS was backed up with claims over the holidays, they were dragging their feet on processing the claim (i.e., sending someone out to assess the package damage). However, Steve kept on them while giving me weekly updates, and a month and a half later, UPS did cut me a check for the full reimbursement amount. Both me and my package recipient were made whole. Yes, it was an ordeal, but Steve handled the entire process with diligence and professionalism. If you're going to ship UPS, definitely use these guys! They've got your back. read more

These people DO NOT care about your business! My PO box lapsed (I pre-paid a year and didn't remember when renewal was due) and they closed it and re-rented it without even attempting to contact me. When asked why they didn't pick up the phone prior to re-renting my box, employee Steve notified me that it is not his job to manage my bills. My mail is nowhere to be found and this was a box that was used for my startup. The owner has not returned my calls and I now need to re-register every business related license, permit, banking, checks... everything. All because these people could not be bothered to take one minute to pick up the phone and show some consideration to their customer. Completely unapologetic, inconsiderate, unprofessional people. GO ANYWHERE ELSE! PS.. To the owner of this store: It would benefit you to understand that obtaining new customers is more expensive than retaining the ones that you already have. I've been picking up packages, dropping off mail, and purchasing stamps and other supplies at the UPS Store on Magic Mountain Pkwy for a little over 4 years. I can't remember when it's taken more than 5 minutes to get done what needed to get done. Holiday's will be a longer wait, but that's expected. I think I've gone to the Post Office once to mail a package and the time I waited in line was horrendous. I learned my lesson and have made the UPS Store on Magic Mountain my chosen destination for great and speedy service. read more
