The worst experience I've ever had at a UPS store. I went in to pick up a package that was addressed to my boyfriend (we live together). I had the missed delivery notice with me. After speaking with both associates (guy & girl) behind the counter, I quickly realized the girl had zero clue on how anything worked (she said she was new), and the guy seemed to have a final say in everything. The guy said that they could not help me because my name was not on the package. After I left the counter, confused, and looked up pick-up protocols on the UPS website, I waited in line again, and then tried to show them where it says on the website that a friend or family member who can provide proof of same address and/or the missed package notice can pick up a package on behalf of the person - which I had both. Without even looking at my phone, the girl looked at the guy, and without looking at me, the guy said he couldn't help me because my name wasn't on the package. I pointed out what the website said again, and he told me that I would have to go speak with the manager myself - who had a separate line already formed in front of her (also, this was a missed learning opportunity for either of them to go find out what the correct answer was). After waiting again in line to speak with the manger, she looked over what I had, agreed with me, and told the guy to go grab the package. Once he grabbed it, he walked past me without looking at me still, and handed it to the girl to check me out (which was another ordeal because she had to figure out how to scan it into the system). I couldn't understand why he was being so rude and unhelpful? I was nice the entire time and provided helpful evidence, and never got upset, even after waiting in line multiple times - but I just left fuming. One of the other customers in there who was witnessing what was happening even commented on how it was a "good thing I did my research". A 5 minute trip to the post office turned into a 30 minute trip. The whole experience ruined the rest of my day. Associates should be aware of the basic protocols of people picking up packages since it's one of the main services they provide... and basic customer service. ‍ read more

Accommodateing manager and employees. This is the only UPS store I use to handle my weekly Amazon.....et Al delivery's.

They need to update their hours or respect them. It's 8:25am store says they open at 8am. They are closed. I came by earlier in the week around 8:30am and there was a line and store was closed. I've also come on the afternoon before closing and door is locked!! Manager needs to step in and either change the hours or talk to staff about being on time. It's frustrating!!! read more

I needed to return a package to Amazon. I printed the mailing label at home and took the package to this UPS store. I asked the clerk for help with a return and handed her the package and label. "Sure I can help with that but there's a $1 charge for taping the label to the package. Is that OK?" Very disappointed - what happened to customer service? read more

This store is always easy to get in and out of, and get information on how best to send packages. Of course, if you want to use USPS services there is an upcharge, but it beats driving across town to the nearest post office. And if you need to drop self-stamped or prepaid USPS or UPS packages there is no cost. The staff is extremely friendly and offer great customer service. I wish they had more card and packaging selections, but with such a small space I understand that may not be possible. Great for notary service, too, if your bank doesn't offer it for free. The name "UPS Store" is misleading - most people don't know you can use them for other mailing services. read more

Paid $137 to overnight a medication my son needed. The shipment never arrived, and contacts with UPS proved nothing. They couldn't even find it. After several contacts by phone with different Moise they finally said that they would refund what I paid and keep searching for the medication. I find that un excusable. Charged me double for my service at this location than any other UPS I have ever been to! Was not going to start a fight about It because It was still only $4 compared to $2 but at all 6+ other locations I have been to they have not only charged me 1/2 the price but have also helped me package my items. The young man working today threw some labels at me in order to help another customer and watched as I awkwardly put them on myself for 10 minutes or so with no other customers around (the other customer mentioned simply dropped a package and left). He seemed offended when I asked why the price was doubled and blamed It on It being a franchise which could be understood except for the fact that instead of charging me $2 for promoting he charged me $3 for "using the computer" (which is what it said on the receipt) and the other dollar was for ??? We brought in some Amazon orders we needed to return, and the lady helping us at the counter told us we needed to send our return label to the email listed on the computer. We sent the link to the page, thinking that's what she needed. After she helped a customer and walked to the computer, she asked us if we sent a screenshot. We told her no and we had sent the link, and she responded "No!" in a very condescending and judgemental way instead of being polite and just asking for the screenshot (which we never were asked for, just to email the label). Once we waited a little longer for her to help another customer, she needed to refill the printer with ink for our labels, which we were fine with, but was pacing around agitated and whispering under her breath. After we got the labels printed and put into boxes, she noted how expensive the order was going to be to herself under her breath again, which just made us feel bad for shopping there. Expensive and overall a very bad experience that left us feeling negative after we left. Maybe the location needs more workers, but this trip made sure we are choosing somewhere else for our shipping needs next time. read more

The onwer was the only person working the counter because the employee didnt show for their shift. The longest tenure employee at this location has been there TWO MONTHS! He claims that it is because of bad management. I believe it! When the owner waited on me she did not know the return polices for Amazon! It force me to make an additional trip when she was not there and someone that knew what they were doing waited on me and shipped package as per Amazon. Stay away from this owner! read more

I come here a lot as i often have printer problems.. today i came in and had two different sets of forms to print out, fill out and have scanned. I was being helped by Miguel, who already seemed in a bad mood when i got to the counter. I get it, I've worked in customer service for 17 years.. but sometimes you've gotta leave home at home or whatever and just put a face on for customers. Whatever anyway, he printed my two separate documents from two separate emails, and i filled them out. He told me it's a $4 charge to have them scanned- no worries. After he scanned and sent them i said oh whoops, they are all in one pdf file... I'm sorry but they are two different forms that go to separate people. He was very annoyed and gave a big sigh and said "well you should have told me that." I felt like it was a little obvious since they were printed from separate sources but.. sure i could have been more clear about that. Then he said "but fine i guess I'll do it how you want it..." walked to the scanner, another big sigh of annoyance... it was just an uncomfortable experience that made me feel incompetent even though it was a relatively simple issue that took less than 3 min to resolve. I rarely come here to drop off packages, but every time I do, the staff is either really short with me or flat out rude. A word to the staff, your job is not difficult at all. You take packages and you mail them. Lighten the f**k up or find a different job. Don't take it out on the customers the moment they walk in. I went into this UPS store last week and was pleasantly surprised with my visit! The store was very clean and tidy and the service was very helpful. Terrible customer service. There is a guy name Richard there an older gentleman. Who was extremely rude to me. While I was on the phone talking to the owner, whose name is Sue, he mocked me, and talked over me while on the phone disputing the prices that were quoted by the owner in person when I met her and there was definitely a missundertanding, but The owner seemed nice, but seemed to giggle it off when I told her what was going on with Richard. She didnt seemed to handle the situation well, but when we came to resolution and she made a decision to give me my mail she asked to for me to hand the phone back to him. He told her she was making a bad decision and he advised her not to proceed. It was very upsetting. I looked at him and said excuse me I don't appreciate this at all. After he got off the phone with Sue he gave me my mail meanwhile nodding his head in dissatisfaction with her decision. It was very strange. The dispute seemed to be finalized and I came back and paid what I owed and went on my way. I was told that when the contract ended of January 2019 that I would pay $60 for the 3 months. I called yesterday to check if o had mail, like I often do, Richard answered, and he explained to me that the payment was due on the 26th and I said okay, I get paid on Wednesday, which is tomorrow and he said that's fine I'll make a note but made it very clear to me that payment for the new contract is due on Wednesday in full plus $25 for the key and total was $120 for the 3 months. My response was that I was told $60 and he explained to me that's the price and I said ok. When I come in on Wednesday. He said okay and told me I had no mail, he continues to be rude. I spoke to my Husband and we made a decision on whether or not we want to continue to do business with this place considering the ordeal I've had. Well, today I went to check mail and the young lady there, whom I've encountered on many occasions has always been nice to me and vice versa and I always make small talk with her. Well, today i went in to check my mail and she tried to explain to me the contract is ready for renewal and I told her I've already spoke to Richard and arranged to come in tomorrow with the payment for the new contract. She kept trying to explain to me and I said there's no need to continue because I am aware and have arrangements for tomorrow and that in just here to check my mail. She got flustered and said okay I'm calling Sue and I said look i want mail and she quickly got even more flustered and said I can't give you your mail until this is paid and I said excuse me I need my mail. She didn't like that I was not leaving without my mail and I asked several times to call Sue or give me her number. And she quickly said I'm calling the police I've heard about you. And I was shocked!!! I said look this is ridiculous you can't keep my mail and I've already told you that I've arranged with Richard to come in tomorrow. I never got my mail and ended up leaving. I tried calling numerous times after I left and there was no answer. This is the worst experience I have ever had. As a paying customer I was treated horribly by Richard and it's apparent this Richard guy has gotten away with his awful customer service. And this girl was obviously given terrible information. So I'm at the post office now asking questions and was just told they can't refuse to give me my mail because it's government however not sure how the rule applies if I'm a paying customer with UPS. I have already decided not to proceed with this store and will go somewhere else. read more

I was extremely disappointed with my latest experience with this store. All of my previous dealings have been great. Unfortunately, a recent Amazon return I dropped off at the store went missing. After waiting 10 days for the shipment to arrive at Amazon returns, I discovered that the package had never been received by UPS. Naturally, I followed up with the store. With my drop off receipt in hand, I called the store to see if they could help me locate my item. The gentleman I dealt with seemed a little impatient with my simple inquiry. Other than looking up the tracking information, he made no attempt to check to see if the item might have been overlooked and was still at the store, or any other possibility for it not to have been transferred to UPS for shipping. Instead of having a little empathy for a concerned customer, he instead told me several times that UPS lost the item and that I would have to follow up with them. After calling UPS, they said they did not receive the item, and that I should follow up with The UPS store, UPS store corporate, or Amazon. Fortunately, Amazon followed through and cheerfully refunded the purchase price of the item. Thanks Amazon! read more

We ordered a product from Mesa, AZ that was shipped to us via UPS. On November 8th, we received the package. It weighed 40 lbs. The shipping box was ripped apart and damaged, so we took it to this UPS store to be returned. When we didn't receive a refund from the company, we checked the tracking number only to find out the package was shipped to Kent, Washington, and signed for by "Schultz" on November 15th. Also the shipping label we were given said the package only weighed 26 lbs, not the 40 lbs on the original label. Obviously, our label went on another package, so there are two people who do not have what was mailed from this store. We are still in the process of working with UPS in order to get the package returned to the correct sender and obtain a refund of $639. I received a claims form to fill out from UPS, HOWEVER, I now need to set up a payment profile, but for WHAT? All I want is to find the package, return it to the original sender and get my refund. This place is insanely overpriced, and has terrible customer service. They charge $3.20 to print a single 1-page document. A single one page document! And they are jerks about it. The customer service is absolutely terrible. I ended up just going to the FedEx store down the street, where I was able to get in and out in 2 minutes, for a grand total of $0.19. If this UPS store charges this much to print a single 1-page document, think of how much they are ripping you off on everything else. read more

First time visiting this location as I always go to the one in Carlsbad. I have never been greeted with this level of rudeness. The employee acted as if I was bothering her. I am always prepared with the address of the location and with my package ready. In the middle of the transaction she asked another girl "can you switch with me" right in front of my face. She simply did not want to assist me (there was no other customer in the shop). I don't live in the area and I simply stopped after a quick search on google but I will for sure never return. Never felt more unwelcome in a place of business before. At the end I said thank you and the response was "sure". Not sure who assisted me but the receipt said Xena. Honestly meet with your staff for them to hopefully understand they work in a customer service environment and if they don't like working with people this may not be the place to work at. read more

If I could give a zero I would. Customer service is terrible. First time I had an issue I just chalked it up to the person in the store just not knowing what they were doing. This second time I have to review on Yelp. Lost my Amazon return, thankfully I had receipt with tracking number on it. I went into the store and the worker looked it up. It had been put in under the wrong date to start with and she couldn't track it with the number. It just came up that it hasn't gone anywhere and instead of just marking it lost she said she didn't know how to do that and would have to call corporate. All this while instead of taking care of me, she's answering phones and dealing with the person on the phone...how about just putting that person on hold to deal with the customer standing in front of you? I tell her it needs to be resolved before the Amazon return deadline date and she takes my number to call me. Of course, that never happens. Days later when I do call back she gives me a song and dance and says she thinks her co-worker threw away the copy of the QR code and my phone number. The woman who waited on me could not tell me when my package would arrive. I can not use the tracking number on the UPS website. Service was very slow. And they charged me $9.63 to mail an envelope to LA. I will NOT be going there again. It is worth it to me to drive to the post office. read more
