Use this UPS store regularly for all shipping needs. Staff is attentive to customer needs. When the line starts to get long, more associates will help out. Usually see 2 or 3 people behind the counter. They are also very helpful with returns. Parking can be an issue sometimes bc it's in a shopping center and the spaces are compact. I have 5 pages of my mortgage that need to be notarized and received by 3/19/2026. I checked the website and UPS store is open until 7 PM. I walked In at 6:35, stated what i needed and I was told I was too late. No notary after 6:30. Really. Is that a secret? Not mentioned on the website. I explained the situation and the 2 young guys working looked at each other and said "you have to come back tomorrow." No other Customers. Their kindness and consideration was noticeable. Paid $15 for a public notary for vital records to get my certified birth certificate so I can require a real ID. The notaries penmanship was so bad. It was rejected by the state of California. I brought it back to the UPS store in Watsonville and she refused to give me a new one without charging me. Then I asked to speak to the owner and then she refused to do a public notary at all and sent me on packing. read more

They need to have more then one clerk to help customers when they first open l had a prepaid package which l needed a receipt and it should not take 15 min to get one with only one lady in front of me that had a bag full of unpacked Amazon packages she was returning 15 minutes later a lady appeared from the back to finally help me and the other 8 customers behind me read more

I've been a "frequent flyer" at the Watsonville, Main Street UPS store for about a half dozen years. Throughout all my time and experiences with this store and their staff... really fun and helpful folks like Jas (Jasmine), Ashley, Sophia, and Johnathon, I have never been disappointed, far from it, my experience and expectations have always been met, and in some cases, surpassed... JAS ~ Case-In-Point: It was merely a couple weeks ago, when I was looking to pick up a couple of packages (from my UPS mail box), when I got up to the UPS Store register to tell "Jas" (1) my name and (2) box number. Much to my surprise, she had already collected items from my Personal Mail Box (PMB) (must have done-so the moment she saw me crossing the street and about to enter the store) and had everything ready for me to sign for and pick up, and I had not ever said a think! Came in here a few weeks ago to send out a letter. With only 2 people in front of me, and 2 associates manning the two registers available, it still somehow took me over 30mins to get to my turn, and ship out my letter. While certainly some of the wait can be attributed to the clueless customers in front of me who were not prepared to provide even basic things like a PH# to call in case the package could not be sent, much of the delay seemed to result from either user delay or the system just taking a long time to process simple requests. If the issue was really the later, UPS really should consider making their systems more expedient for processing of simple transactions. And while not a fault of the store location, the cost charged by UPS was quite exorbitant! Although I realize that there is certainly a premium charged for overnight deliveries, I was charged over $100 to ship a single 8X11" letter in a regular envelope! What kind of highway robbery is this?!?! Staff here all seem very friendly, but I most likely will be using another carrier for my shipping needs considering the long processing time and high costs charged by UPS. read more

Unfortunately he did have to ask his coworker a question she was very rude towards him letting him know he should of known the answer very sarcastic. I wasn't impressed with her attitude. I just stopped by this UPS store in Watsonville location to Have the print out the return label to Amazon. Because I have to print out the return slip to put inside the box so I didn't tape the box till I have the authorization slip to put inside. The guy that helped me was so rude!. He said that he can't tape the box !... He will charge me $4.50 for taping the box!! ... I paid him ( because I already waited so long for my turn ) next time if you go to this store bring your own tape from home to avoid the rediculously charged like me . read more

That is, until we began visiting the UPS store on Main Street. I feel like we bother these unfriendly people every time I go in. THEY CLOSE EARLY (before stated business hours), so be warned. Also - if you're the district manager, be advised - your staff is "checking out" before they clock out, and pissing off customers in the process - I was not alone - at least one other customer shared my experience. Because my package was already paid for, shipping label in-hand (and I wasn't going away) - which meant no transaction was necessary - she finally opened the door and took the package at 3:59 PM (that's why I'm giving 2 stars, not 1). YOU CANNOT CALL THIS LOCATION TO SPEAK TO A PERSON. Those features exist in the phone menu, but there's neither a phone or voicemail on the other end and the system errors out - during business hours. Other than the Post Office sites - and those are on the other side of town, this is the only shipping business in the area, so I WON'T recommend driving out if your way to go elsewhere. If you're a retail shipping franchisee, however, there a strong opportunity to snatch business from a competitor that is unmotivated and complacent. The UPS store is generally good, some better than others. Main problem at most locations seems to be very little parking. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. FedEx on the other hand has plenty of parking at their locations. And FedEx is usually empty. read more

If a customer walks in first they should be helped first. Regardless of if I have a situation that will be taken care of in 1 minute or 1 hour. If you'd like to get the other easy customer done first while you log into something to process my request, ASK me first. Don't just say "I'm gonna get her reciept." A simple solution to prevent a customer being dissatisfied was to ask me, "Is it ok if I get her receipt while I log into this program?" Instead the clerk decided to bypass the order of customers without an explanation, proper etiquette, or good customer service. Love how the other customer just went with it too. People lack common courtesy. read more

We had a very time-sensitive printing need and Xavier was on point taking care of us. We emailed our documents to him when we were seven minutes away from his store and he had them ready and waiting for us when we arrived. Xavier is courteous, professional and a pleasure to work with. Whoa they charge you for "help" here. The help in this case consisted of answering a basic question and then pressing print. I get why you would need to charge someone for helping them, I'm sure plenty of people come in expecting them to do all the work for them or get something very complicated printed. It seems like the guy thought it wasn't a big deal helping me, not a big enough deal to tell me that I was going to get charged for it. So if it's not a big enough deal to say "hey, just so you know there is a fee for me helping you" then you're probably not providing enough "help" to warrant a charge. I went to get fingerprints for the first time, in the UPS store, and it all went wrong they didn't explain the process to me, that's why the paper end up all dirty with fingerprints and they didn't even help or explain what I need to do or how. These guys have great customer service. I get packages shipped out all the time and they are always very helpful and accommodating. They even help me cut down boxes to save on shipping when they see the possibility. Some time ago, I brought in a box and the attendant mentioned that it could save me some money by making the box smaller. He proceeded to cut it down and saved me $20 off shipping! There's also plenty of parking and a good amount of services offered here. They also ship USPS if you want it shipped cheaper. Not only that, but they can actually tell you all shipping rates after weighting and measuring your package, so you know exactly how much more UPS will be over USPS, as well as a comparison of delivery dates. Overall, I've been very happy. My only gripe is that UPS in general has raised their rates considerably, but that's company wide, not particular to this location. read more

Me being the complete idiot I am waited to package and mail something the day before taxes were due. Needless to say, the post office was JAMMED and I couldn't even park. I made a quick trip to UPS and was in and out in a few minutes. The staff here was friendly and helped me figure out the best way to pack my shipment. The prices are fairly decent considering they do almost all the work for you. Good staff and really quick shipping for anything you need. read more

I understand it's two weeks before Christmas but with four employees working you would think someone would wait on me...or give me a smile and say..I will be right with you? All four employees where chatting about their lunch breaks instead if helping customers. I waited twenty minutes..I counted down by watching the store clock.i finally gave up. I went in the other with a prepaid shipping label, package completely wrapped and ready to to. I stood around for about 15 minutes, virtually no one else in the store and I finally walked out of there with my pre-paid label and package. I have never experienced this in any other UPS Store! I miss the UPS Store on the west side in Santa Cruz near Safeway - those guys are on it at all times! Not sure why these Watsonville guys seem so sleepy - no training? read more
