Not the first time this has happened here, but it is the LAST. I brought an Amazon-purchased cooking pan to return - I will admit the box was over-sized, but it had arrived in that box... I filled out the necessary paperwork, and plopped the thing on the scale... the clerk looked me in the eye and said "84 dollars". I took the box off the scale and walked to the door - the item had cost $71 - and I wasn't thrilled. The clerk said "You know, we can ship it USPS from this address, but it might be more". I asked her to quote it, and back on the scale it went... She looked me in the eye again and said "176 dollars, sir". I put the box back in my car and drove to the Post Office and went to the clerk there. He said "That will be 26 dollars, but if you put it in a smaller box, we will send it for around 17 dollars". SO - UPS overcharged, then grossly lied about the amount that the US Postal Service would charge. The US Post Office employee was so helpful this is a raving review for THEM! read more

They overcharge HORRIBLY! A 1 pound small box costs $17 to ship UPS ground from Norcal to Socal! The same box was $13 to ship via mail! Ship it directly through UPS/USPS and save a lot of money. It normally would have cost $6 to ship via UPS and $5 to ship via USPS... horribly overpriced, it all goes into their pocket. I will never go here again. read more

TERRIBLE! I dropped off an overnight package Thursday the 15th at noon time. It was extremely time sensitive and I made sure to ask that it will get picked up that same day for delivery on Friday the 16th ,and was told yes. It is now Saturday the 17th and my package still has not arrived . I called UPS and was told that it was not picked up until Friday the 16th at almost 7:45 PM!!! What the hell is wrong with you UPS?! Never again will I use this store or UPS service. read more

The worst! UPS used to be a really good company that was dependable, driver's were nice and actually cared about giving good customer service; now, this company has become overpriced, the driver that was supposed to pick up my package for shipping on 7/1/14 and was extremely rude, and refused to pick up my package even though it was prepaid, and the driver was notified that a shipping label was needed along with the letter package for 2nd day air. I paid 23.36 for 2nd day air, plus another 7.20 as a pick up fee and fuel charge. The package was never picked up. Even though I was sent an email saying that it was picked up along with a tracking number. So I call to confirm the package was picked up on 7/2/14, and nope, it was still sitting there. So I call UPS again, and have to go through the whole mess of arranging for another pick up, and instead of giving me the credit for the fees already charged to my account, noooo I have to pay the money again! and wait until Monday to get any refunds. So now I'm temporarily out over $60.00. So at 3:10 pm, I just got off the phone with the place the package was to be picked up from, and still the incompetent unionized UPS driver, once again says he has no labels and refused to pick up the package again! So, once again I call customer service and the driver had the arrogant balls to put in that the package was picked up! It never was picked up. SO now I have a promise that the HUB out by Watsonville is going to call me within an hour. I guess I'll hold my breath. read more

I thought I would give this store a second chance as I had a bad experience before. I brought in a camera lens for repair re-do as the first time it was not done properly.(april 9, 2018 at 2pm) The lens was placed on top of the scale. The employee knocked it over He did not apologized. I should have walked out of the store. But, I went ahead and had the UPS store package the lens for shipping. I left a lens, a rear cap and a front lens cap. When Nikon accepted the lens, they did an inventory: lens and rear cap - no front cap. Insult to injury, Nikon reported impact damage. Somebody dropped the lens and it was not me. I hate to point the finger but it is obvious. Please note: knocking the lens over on the scale did not do the damage; something happened in the back area. For anybody who needs to ship a delicate and expensive item, go somewhere else. Do not come to the Watsonville UPS Store. The only way to punish this store is by not doing business here. read more

Each and every time I go to the UPS Store in Watsonville I get great and personal service. They now know me by name and I trust they will do all they can to help me in my shipping and copying needs. They may cost a little more than the Post Off. but it takes less time and I get great service. I feel better walking out of there and so I always go there instead of the PO. read more

On Monday 28th August at about 115pm I entered the watsonville Branch to drop off an Amazon return. I noticed that the shop had a new layout - with NO signs directing where to stand. I naturally queued behind a guy who was being served by a baldheaded employee. When he had finished he looked at my package and asked "Drop off?" I replied yes and I would like a receipt please....to which he said I would have to wait. Fair enough....there was one other customer ahead of me..and while she was being served a few more customers entered. After a while the employee finished with his customer and proceeded to help another woman who had entered AFTER me. I pointed out I was next and was told I wasn't in the right place to be served!!? WTF??? Why did you not tell me where to queue when you knew I was waiting??? In fact the employee just grinned at my distress and said he would "still serve me". Now by this point the shop had a few more customers and I was annoyed at the discrimination I felt was happening as let's be honest here...I was the only white person in the shop. I didn't appreciate the way the staff were obviously talking about me in Spanish and I felt uneasy. I was eventually given a receipt and left. Three days later and my package isn't showing on the tracking system so I suspect that the bald employee has destroyed my package...luckily I have my receipt. This used to be anice little store with great staff but with the new layout and the racist staff I will be avoiding it in future. I hope UPS can confrm my package will be delivered or reimburse me for any loss. read more

We have used these services for both personal and business use for over one year now. The people and the service have both been exceptional! We have used similar services when we have lived in other parts of the bay area and find the Watsonville UPS store head and shoulders above the rest. Well done! read more

I had great service this morning. I was in a huge rush to get my passport picture taken and I went into the store and was helped by a very nice associate. I was in and out of the store within about 5 minutes. I will never go anywhere else to get my passport picture taken. read more

i recently had to return a key less entry system thy said it would get there in 3 days i got a call from key less entry package arrived fri no keys just information book went to ups store told them thy said fill out claim takes about 10 days fine3 weeks latter and calling several times i kept getting my dog ate my home work type answers so just recently i get a call we have your check come and get it neat i said go tue the check i was told was made out to owner she is not here fine i came back next day she is gone family emergency its not the money its what you fell an organization like ups has such credibility issues never will i go to ups store good old post office for me thank you read more
