Hey everyone beware of the West Orange UPS store!!!! I am senior adult, a College Educated business owner and a 26 year resident of West Orange. As a Real Estate Agent, Contractor and the owner of a Plumbing company I often need Notary Services for my bids and goverment contracts. For years Jessica haa always provided professional friendly service. Now you have Dylan and his side kick the slim kid with the short dark haircut who is suppose to be the manager. These guys are the worst!!!! They pick and choose who they want to give a hard time! They are smug, rude and bad for the business. They will use whatever little limited powers they have to incovience you if they can!!! This used to be my primay UPS Store for years. Now I'm willing to pay a little more and drive a little further until the owner dose something about these guys. Share your experince. Maybe management will start to listen when it starts to affect the bottom line! P.S. I also used to be a NOTARY myself so why they continue to allow this conduct is mind boggling! read more

They always push to sell you their boxes and wont accept yours. Had to carry my item back to the car multiple times as I refuse to pay $36 dollars for a 4x24 box mind you I already had a perfectly good box the item was shipped in. Went to the UPS store in south orange and had absolutely no issues sending the item. read more

Though a little late with this review, better late than never. The staff here are cheerful and very helpful. I asked like 60 questions to come up with the best shipping solution for my buck and they answered them all. No attitude, even made some suggestions. Prices are reasonable. read more

Dear Sam, i am not surprised by your response in defense of Dylan's poor business approach and lack of customer service training at UPS. Dylan's behavior toward me that day reflected on the model of training he has received on how to conduct himself when serving a specific class of people that patronage your store. Dylan told me to take my business elsewhere when I challenged his response on why he refused to serve me with a notary stamp; a process he has done before within the procedures and guidelines of a notary public. Thereafter I took the same documents to my bank and they confirmed that my documents were presented in the absolute proper manner within the guidelines of notary approval. My bank doesn't charge its clients a notary fee. I frequented your store because of proximity to my business office and I would pay your charge fee for each document that you notarized. The good news is that from this unfortunate experience at UPS west orange NJ resulted in my saving money on notary fees which my bank waives for their loyal customers. read more

THIS UPS made my day brighter because they're very professional and happy to help the clients. I have been to others UPS and they were very rude like if they didn't want to work there. I always get underwhelming service here. They are misreading costly than FedEx or the USPS. The convenience factor left too. My package had a little movement inside and they refused to ship it. They make you sign so many disclaimers here for liability what difference is it? I use the USPS in Roseland and Fedex off Eisenhower Pkwy. Much more friendly and cost affective. read more

The owner WAY overcharges for services. It is fine for standard shipping if you pack your own or use drop off services but spare yourself of their work efforts, and resulting price gouging, by packing yourself or use another, more reasonable location (184 South Livingston Ave, as a nearby, friendlier alternative) or Fedex. Twice these guys MAJORLY overcharged for two different services (once for a simple, personal packing job, for which they charged an obscene amount to pack one box yet didn't tell me until they finished (over $100 just for packing one box); the other for a simple work related print job, for which they were not equipped with the proper printer or cutting tools and charged me page by page to hand cut the job of 20 pages (charging me $60 for a shitty job)). Do yourself a favor and pick an alternative location for services, as there are many options in the area. That's the last time I'll give them the satisfaction to conduct bad business with me. read more
