Warning: Never EVER use this place for package pickup. I was having issues with packages being stolen at my apartment, so I started using UPS My Choice. UMC allows you to reroute your package to a UPS store for pickup. This one was convenient for me, so I arranged for my package to go there. I went to pick up my package and they couldn't find it in the back. After looking around, they discovered that it was sitting in a pile of boxes in the middle of the store. It wasn't attended or secured in any way, and anyone walking into the store had immediate access to it. This was a very light and moderately sized box, too, so it would have been very easy to steal. When I brought this up to the manager, he was very dismissive and said "that doesn't happen." Um, yeah, it does. And I wasn't paying to have my package left in a totally unattended, unsecured area. I was paying for it to be held safely for me. They didn't even remember where they had left it so they obviously were not paying much attention. I wrote a letter to the store and I was blown off again - so it's clear that these guys don't care too much about the security of your deliveries. Avoid, avoid, avoid. The Staples down the block on Sepulveda does UPS and FedEx, and there's a post office nearby on Airport, so you have options. read more

This store, of all the ones I have dealt with in my time, is quite possibly the worst. I was put in touch with Mike to retrieve some items from LAX lost and found, only to find that not only was Mike difficult to deal with, but his poor attitude and downright rudeness lead me to seek another way to retrieve the items. He refused to do anything for me unless I provided him with my credit card information first. Who does that? Then he used the fact that he is a private franchisee to tell me, "we're a franchise, we don't have to do anything..." They refused a paying job and then copped out behind a franchise agreement because they didn't feel like doing it, or at least that's what Mike said. I will be contacting the people who recommended this store to let them know that they should find someone else to handle their shipping. If you can, I would avoid using this location at all costs, it will be worth it to go elsewhere and be treated like a human being instead of trash. read more

My first time I walked into the store. I was totally ignored. everyone behind me was being helped like i didn't it exist !! I walked out the door, called them and spoke to the manager about the incident. Year later, I decided to go again with the holidays I had no choice. I walked in , it was raining and I was soaking carrying this big box, again. for the second time they took the customer behind me why because she was dropping off, i waited till they took care of her they printed her ticket, they placed her box and it took exactly 6 min. This UPS Store is always on point. I always leave satisfied. I usually just go in to drop off my packages with pre-paid printed labels on them and when I know it's going to a company that I have never returned an item to I ask for a receipt, which they gladly give me in 2 seconds. I came here because I called for notrary service and they had one and it's close to my house. I get there as the documents I need to be signed and notarized are my parents closing documents for their home. First of all my dad is disabled and medically ill and has dementia and with COVID I'm not bringing him out anywhere. Therefore I have a POA and medical POA for him. Well Masood I guess who's the owner and or notary guy as well looks at my mom's ID and starts making comments oh never seen that name first name is Persian and last name Indian that's interesting and continues to keep making comments like what it means, it means queen in Persian and what not. I don't care what my mom's name mean I came here to get the deed and closing documents notarized and I need you to do that. Then I needed witness so I asked if he can ask his employees if that's ok, he goes oh I can't ask you'll have to ask. Like wtf they're working on your time and clock you sure that's ok? I'm asking so they don't get in trouble by you. Then he says he can't sign the papers Because my dad isn't here and his POA isn't sufficient on his behalf for me which is Unheard of. He decides to get on the phone with the notorary service and speaks them to only let em speak to them and Mt attorney as well to end up that Masood hangs up on them because he has other customers. Like WTF? Wasted my time. Went upstairs above him the nice old guy said the Ups guy is horrible. But he doesn't do notrary anymore. Came too the mail call down the street that guy Johnathan said the same too. Funny how everyone I spoke in that's area said the same thing. Lesson learned. Never going back to this Ups nor giving him any business. So FUCK YOU Masood. For not knowing how to properly notarize documents. When I moved out of L.A. in 2012, this location did a great job packing up and sending all the crap I had accumulated over the past 7 years back to Florida. It was mostly clothes, but everything arrived safely and intact. I sent four large boxes almost 2500 miles for a total cost of $171.38 and all was well. My experiences at this store have been nothing short of stellar. My goto person has become Jackie (sp?) due to her awesome service. I ship out a lot of computer / electronics supplies and every so often UPS just destroys a package. After the last such incident (in which I had paid UPS to insure the shipment for $120), I called the store to let them know the shipment was destroyed upon arrival. Fully expecting to get blown off, I luckily reached Jackie. Surprisingly she eagerly listened to my story and let me know what my options were in dealing with UPS. Being somewhat lazy, I then did nothing for a few weeks. Even more surprisingly, I then got a phone call from Jackie saying that she began the claim process for me with UPS. Very impressive service that all went above and beyond my wildest expectations. With service like this I'm a bit baffled by the negative reviews I see here on this store. Perhaps there are some not-so-friendly employees here? I'm not sure but I just know that if Jackie's handling it, you're in great hands! read more

I left my drivers license at TSA in LAX and needed someone to help me expidite it to me so I could fly back a few days later. Mike Ravesh has a service that does exactly that. He picked up my ID and sent it to me UPS so that I could have it in time. I sent him the paper work late on Monday. Tuesday morning I had tracking on my package! He was fast, nice and extremely helpful. I am a business owner myself and value great customer service when I see it. This store has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. My company has been a mailbox customer of this location since 2011, nearly 9 years. In this time, I have registered 2 complaints. However, when you simply complain to the manager, he get really offended and irate instead of talking to have a normal adult conversation. Today, I was told that I needed to pay a $10 fee because they have a rule that they will hold packages for 5 days and each day after that they charge $5. I had my credit card out as I was going to pay the fee and renew my mailbox another year. In the meantime, I saw that 2 packages came in on the 22nd and 2 came in on the 21st. Today is November 26th. I asked how he was calculating the 5 days. Apparently, he counts the day packages come in as one day. I told him that I felt he was not charging me correctly. He told me that he was sick of me complaining and to "Get Out" of his store and that he would not renew my mailbox. He yelled at me in front of customers. It was terrible. I was nothing but professional in every way. He simply did not like that I questioned his calculations. Let me be clear... My company is paying for the mailbox. I have no skin in the game. It isn't my money. However, I questioned his tactics out of principle. Their customer service is not the brand of UPS and it seems there is zero accountability for the Manager's rudeness. Now, his decision to not renew our mailbox is a very costly one for my company. We have all of our stationary, business cards, contacts, etc., that rely on this consistent address. My company is certainly going to take legal action over their decision not to renew our mailbox just because the manager is upset that I asked how he was calculating full days. I guess the sign on the counter, "The boss is always right" is the way this UPS Store does business. Lastly, let me say, I rarely have to speak to anyone when I go into the store. I never purchase anything; I only go in there to pick up mail and packages. I loathe having to have any interaction with the management there. The employees are very friendly for the most part but the management is absolutely awful. I guess I will see them in court if they cancel or don't renew our mailbox because of this. read more

The Yelp reviews on the not-so-nice customer service is true! I went in to drop off a package and just needed a receipt. When the lady who worked there came out from the back, I greeted her with a smile and told her what I was there for, she didn't say anything nor did she smile and just pointed to the scale. So I placed the package on it. She then scanned it and promptly gave me the receipt. I then thanked her and nicely said "I hoped she had a great day", again she didn't say anything to me as I left. I came here because it was closer to where I live. For now on I'll go to the UPS store a couple of miles away that has better customer service reviews and better parking. There is street parking in front and the side. I believe there maybe parking available around back in a covered parking area as well but not sure who can park there since it's not noted. read more

WARNING! Before you use this UPS store to mail a package, get a quote from the U.S. Postal Service or FedEx. I was told that it would be in excess of $125 to mail a large item ground shipping, and that it would be a lot more to have the item packed. The clerk seemed to take delight in the fact that I was shocked at the price. He had a real smirk on his face. I asked if he knew of any cheaper options and he told me that I would not find anything cheaper than UPS. WRONG. I went to FedEx and shipped my item for just under $40. I surmise that this is a franchise operation and the guy was trying to get everything he could out of me, but I outsmarted him. You should too. read more

I misplaced my stuff at LAX, and it took 2 days from me contacting this UPS store to get my items in hand in San Francisco. Emails were responded to promptly (literally within minutes). I went to this store for the first time today. I had two boxes to ship locally. An employee asked what I needed. I told him I was shipping two boxes. He took the first box and when he came back, my other box was in that box. He never gave me a price, told me a price or anything. I think that is VERY BAD CUSTOMER service. I paid $32.04 to send one box to Pasadena and the other box to Van Nuys. One box was $3.25 and the other was $3.95 Next time I'll go to the Post Office. Now if he had told me the cost of the boxes and the packaging, I would feel differently. I found out the prices when I was standing at the register. UPS, you suck! read more

I lost my phone at the airport (LAX)....I was thinking that it was gone, but I called the TSA folks and they had my phone... One of the options for having it returned was UPS... I filled in the appropriate information forwarded it to the UPS Store and was prepared to wait and wait. But as soon as the store opened the next morning I got an email from Mike Ravesh who was very helpful. I provided the info. he needed and again a very quick response saying that we were all set and that he would e-mail me the invoice . I have shown up with some pretty un-standard shipping needs and they have always been able to help me package and ship - and have recommended ways I could save money! A constant turnover of staff and a moody owner (can't handle multitasking or stress!) makes things challenging in trying to provide ongoing business. Good staff seem to last only a few months with the ongoing drama of the owner - they probably move on to greener pastures. As far as UPS stores go this one is below average compared to some of the others in West Los Angeles. In short, use it in a pinch and enjoy its convenient location but avoid using it during busy periods or expect to get a dose of "owner outburst". read more

Had two transactions at this store. #1. Needed to print out a letter and so went online to the ups website and submitted the job there. For pickup, I picked this store and after all was finished, had the confirmation and my credit card was charged. Then went to the store to pick up said printouts. They had no idea what I was talking about and had no way to check ups to see if anything was submitted. Best he could offer was to re-print my document and charge me (again) for it. No thanks! #2. Was away on business travel and had to divert one of my work shipment here. I came back and went straight to the store to pick it up. They couldn't find the package and requested the tracking number. (My bad, I did not have it on me.) Went back to the office and got the tracking info. Then went back to the store only to find that they have closed. I have been using the store for about a year because I dont like having packages delivered to my apartment complex. The customer service is not amazing but I try to deal with the nice black lady that usually works the front. The man that I assumed to be the owner is extremely rude and after my experience today I am thinking of taking my business elsewhere. Normally when you receive a package they send you a email that the package has arrived. I never received a email about any packages and when I went to go check my mail me tried to charge me $ 5.00 a day for my package "sitting there" when I had no idea they were even there. When I tried to explain the situation to him, he accused me of lying and said I should be more responsible with staying on topof my packages. His tone was extremely insulting and I have no desire to do business with such a rude owner. There are many other ups stores. Choose another one to give your money to. This Store is horrible! I normally just stop in to drop of my UPS packages but last week I needed to ship a box. What a big mistake that was, someone with a thick Middle Eastern accent claiming to be the owner was in a very bad mood I watched him be rude to an elderly woman who had a hard time understanding him, I attempted to help her and his wrath turned to me. The box I attempted to ship didn't make it to its destination. The tracking information shows the box being scanned in at this location but never leaving. I contacted them and asked them to look around and was told "We'll try when things slow down" OMG!! I opened a claim with UPS. Mail Call Lax is in walking distance, I've only bought packing supplies from them but the employees are always eager to help. read more
