Rip off! $3 ea to make a copy of a black & white email. Than laughed at me when I rephrased what I wanted being sure I was misunderstood. No problem. Drove to my usual UPS location up the street & paid .75 a copy & was greeted & helped with excellent customer service. No brainer where I'm going for future needs. read more

Every time I visit this UPS store, I run into an issue with their excessive fees for minor things. Today, I brought in a few Amazon returns, and they tried to charge me $2 for just 6 inches of tape to seal one of my boxes. (The other two did not require taping). What's frustrating is that Amazon already pays UPS stores for each return they process, which should more than cover minor costs like tape. Charging customers extra for something so trivial is unnecessary and greedy. The UPS store just a few blocks away provides much better service and doesn't nickel-and-dime its customers like this. Consistency and customer service matter. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. read more

+1 for the patient and clear staff member who helped me, but definitely won't be returning for a few reasons: 1. No shipping to PO Boxes here... (Maybe a UPS policy? Why though...) 2. The slowest and cheapest option to ship 3-5 ounces here was quoted for $20. Faxing wasn't any cheaper either. I went to my local US Post Office, and I spent maybe $4. This alone is quite laughable... a 400% upcharge? 3. They don't sell individual stamps here, so be careful if you want to mail... I went for printing documents from my email he charged me for using 15 minutes computer. When I asked what do you mean. I didn't use computer he replied I did. It doesn't a matter who used computer. If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. That girl Sara who works at the front desk was extremely rude & bitter. Almost every time I've walked into this business I hope to see a different face or be helped by someone else but it's always her. I usually go down to a different UPS store a little further down the street, but today decided I'd try this one. I know all UPS stores are franchises, so everything's different- but I've been shipping out at stores for the last 3 years. I know insurance costs money, 2.50 PER 100 dollars and she kept denying the fact that insurance doesn't cost money? So is it free? She had a bad attitude and kept rolling her eyes and was clearly annoyed. I get customer service is annoying but get another job if you're so unhappy and bitter about this one. I recently had to send a fax ( I felt super old school) and came to this UPS store. They have only been open about a year and I enjoy coming to this location because there is plenty of parking! The inside is really clean and the staff is very helpful! I also have come here a few times to return some things to Amazon. They have a lot of different things you can do here which makes it s great one stop shop. They also have all your boxes and other packaging available for service. I never feel rushed when I come here and they are always helpful. Even though this location isn't the closest one to my home, I prefer coming here. read more

Firstly, I use both stores that the owner has and love them both. All employees including the owner have shown nothing but patience and professionalism with their customers. Because I've read another review, I feel it must be said that they must handle hundreds of returns a day, on top of all of their other handlings....They cannot possibly be expected to tape and label every single return for people who don't read their return instructions, or those who choose to ignore their instructions and demand the employees to give them free services. The worst. I am usually a kind reviewer and rarely leave something negative, but this experience left me fuming. I came in just before closing on Saturday. 1. Were so rude about an item I tried to return without a box. I didn't know it needed a box, but their attitude was horrible. Dismissive and condescending--and I'm nearly certain it was the man who runs the business. 2. They told me their registers closed before it was closing time, and the doors were still open. When I said that I came in before closing time they told me--well now you need to come back on Monday to return the other item, so do the rest then. HELL NO I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. I hope to God people find other offices to use for shipping packages, I will actively go out of my way to avoid bringing any money to these folks. Very sad, terrible business manners. read more

Just opened and I was excited to have this by my house, I went in today to return some Amazon items and the owner himself insisted that I needed a box, o told him the order didn't and he turned me away. After contacting Amazon support they informed me no box is needed with order. You guys just lost a customer. $3 fee for one strip of tape? The only reason I'm leaving this as a review is because this is the only UPS store I have visited (out of 4) that is charging me to use tape. Taking my business to my local UPS store where they smile and have a better attitude and don't charge to use a strip of tape. Update to owner's response: You weren't present and your staff didn't ask or verify how I processed my return through Amazon, she was too busy going over taping fee options. I'm glad that you are aware of the different return shipping options, but maybe you should train your staff to know the options as well in your absence instead of trying to nickel and dime me for a strip of tape. As you mentioned, there was another option and I paid for it with QR ready before I arrived so that UPS can tape my box. "The UPS Store will pack, label, and ship your return for you. Just bring the item in its original manufacturer's packaging and disassemble the item (if applicable). We'll email you a QR code to ship your return. Show it to a store associate at any The UPS Store. You can also check out other free options." And yes, ONE strip of tape to seal ONE side of the box. I'm not sure where you got the idea that a quarter of a roll would be used when no one measured my box either. I did not feel welcome. I was not presented with all my options or solutions. This was only the second time I have visited this store. I was shipping one item that was identical to a shipment I sent to the same address three weeks ago from a different UPS store, the cost w/ insurance was Twenty nine dollars. When this woman told me it was going to be fifty nine dollars.( No special shipping just standard UPS ground). I questioned her about the cost and she said this was correct. She didn't appear to have a good working knowledge of the UPS system. I have an account with UPS but she could not find it using my email address. I left the store and drove to FEDEX on Vanowen street. The cost to ship the same Item was Nineteen dollars and fifty cents w/insurance. that's a forty dollar difference. Just be aware these are franchises, so I guess they can charge what ever they want. I will not be a returning customer to this location. read more
