$3 fee for one strip of tape? The only reason I'm leaving this as a review is because this is the only UPS store I have visited (out of 4) that is charging me to use tape. Taking my business to my local UPS store where they smile and have a better attitude and don't charge to use a strip of tape. Update to owner's response: You weren't present and your staff didn't ask or verify how I processed my return through Amazon, she was too busy going over taping fee options. I'm glad that you are aware of the different return shipping options, but maybe you should train your staff to know the options as well in your absence instead of trying to nickel and dime me for a strip of tape. As you mentioned, there was another option and I paid for it with QR ready before I arrived so that UPS can tape my box. "The UPS Store will pack, label, and ship your return for you. Just bring the item in its original manufacturer's packaging and disassemble the item (if applicable). We'll email you a QR code to ship your return. Show it to a store associate at any The UPS Store. You can also check out other free options." And yes, ONE strip of tape to seal ONE side of the box. This was only the second time I have visited this store. I was shipping one item that was identical to a shipment I sent to the same address three weeks ago from a different UPS store, the cost w/ insurance was Twenty nine dollars. When this woman told me it was going to be fifty nine dollars.( No special shipping just standard UPS ground). I questioned her about the cost and she said this was correct. She didn't appear to have a good working knowledge of the UPS system. I have an account with UPS but she could not find it using my email address. I left the store and drove to FEDEX on Vanowen street. The cost to ship the same Item was Nineteen dollars and fifty cents w/insurance. that's a forty dollar difference. Just be aware these are franchises, so I guess they can charge what ever they want. I will not be a returning customer to this location. read more

This particular UPS store wants to charge you $3 to print the ups label. The location up the street in Winnetka and Roscoe is friendlier in my opinion. Edit: thanks for the reply but yeah I dropped it off up the street no charge at all. I've purchased many bottles of water in my lifetime. You wanted $3 plus like $1 service fee. hell no. do not believe in any of these five star comments. Ghazi asks people to give him five stars on yelp. do not give service to this person. i was planning to ship out baby formula to my sister who was unable to find any baby formula in her state. i went there to purchase a label and it was $500. ofcourse because my sister is important to me, ive decided to pay the $500 and then came back 20min later regretting since $500 is alot. i come back and ask Ghazi if i could have the package back and he said it had already been shipped out. i saw my package right next to the counter with my address. i told him i saw it and he refused to give it back until he said if i wanted it back, i have to pay him a fee. $150 fee to get my items back. $650 down the drain because i was desperate and in need to get this to my sister and i lost my money. yes you can say its my fault, yes you can say its a buisness, but trust me. the ups in woodland hills can do this shipping for $150. dont get scammed by these ass wipes. read more

If you're using this location to return an item from amazon make sure you get a receipt because there are issues of them scanning in your return but amazon never receiving the items back in which you'll then be recharged again. Not sure what they do with the items, whether they keep them for themselves or not but perhaps try a different drop off location for UPS. read more

This UPS store is close to home however I'd rather drive a bit rather to the Roscoe location. For some reason the times I've returned items for Amazon the credit on my acct for Amazon takes days to get there. At the other UPS locations the credit it back within a few hours after I've return an item. This has happened several times. I don't like waiting for my credit for days. I also once returned an item and Amazon claimed they never received it. Overall I don't like this particular UPS store. Others are much more helpful. read more
