The staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. I had to return 2 packages and had return labels, but needed to purchase boxes to ship back. The lady was nice and taped my labels to the products in order to get me out quicker and get to the line behind me which grew very quickly. The location is convenient but the parking lot was crazy. I had an Amazon return. When I was next in (a long) line of Amazon return, I watched the cashier berate the customer in front of me. I couldn't believe what I saw---acting like a burned-out kindergarten teacher, bullying around a kindergarten student. I thought "great, what's she gonna do to me". I then got called up, got an eye roll when she saw the Amazon packaging, and also got berated. Sure enough, she did the same thing to me that she did to the customer in front of me. Red hair, shoulder length, with glasses. Obnoxious, obnoxious human being. Whoever owns this joint would be wise to terminate her---mark my words, she's going to kill your business. I note the poor existing reviews, and there's a common theme with them and this one as well. Your employees seem to have an attitude problem. If you don't want the Amazon customers, do NOT accept the (lucrative) Amazon contract! Note---whenever 1 customer complains, there's usually 10-100x more with the same experience, but who say nothing. To add insult to injury, I got squeezed for $1.50 to "tape" my box that I've never paid for with an Amazon return. I suspect this is unique to this UPS proprietor, as I've never experienced this at any other UPS location or Amazon drop-off locations. To avoid upsetting the cashier & avoid conflict, I just paid it. I'll do my best to use the FedEx a couple miles away when I need to use my (frequent) shipping needs & skip this joint. read more

We came to drop off an item that was purchased online and needed to be returned. The store is at a nice location with ample parking spaces. I don't really know what to talk about in this situation. Aside from everything is neat and orderly, the guy from the counter talks and greets and processes packages, there's really not a lot to say. We had a bit of a line the day we showed up. I went back today to try and talk to the owner/manager. Told him how I was treated and couldn't get any extra envelopes and he told me the same thing. He was just as rude as the lady yesterday! I told him I tried calling three times, left a v/mail he said oh the last pick up time is in our recording. I never heard it! No apology for not calling back!? Come here because this is the closest ups near me. This time I came was not back. The person who was helping me was very nice but must have been new because she always had to ask the other lady how to do things. There is always a line but the workers work hard to make it go fast. I went into the UPS store with two packages. One of them had a pre-paid shipping label that literally only needed to be taped shut. The other needed to be packed and paid for. When the lady asked if I wanted to "pay for their packing service" on the box that ONLY needed to be taped shut, I politely said "no, I have tape in the car". Assuming she would move onto the package that needed her services, I sent my husband to get tape from our car. Am I ridiculous to think I should pay to tape a box closed? The woman then said "I must respectfully ask you to package your own items outside of our store in the future since we are a packaging company." I understand that UPS is a packaging AND shipping company which was precisely what I was doing. However, I am not willing to pay you to tape a box closed. I would have "RESPECTFULLY" appreciated if she could have just moved onto the services I was actually there to pay for which was the other item that needed to be packaged and shipped. I really am outdone today. I went there at 0900, and the store hours are clearly posted they open at 0830. The doors were locked and they were obviously still closed. I did some other shopping and came back at 0930. The owner was inside, but the doors were still locked and he seemed to be checking the copiers and registers. At 0930, he unlocked the doors and offered neither apology nor explanation. This is not the first time they opened late. Last year in the winter I waited outside the door, at 0835, while the owner didn't acknowledge me until I got in my car to leave. He then waved at me, but it was too late and I went to another UPS store. Other than these 2 specific instances, there are multiple other bad experiences. The owner is routinely surly and the counter staff are extremely slow. I just wish Amazon would switch to FedEx. read more

I went to this store and attempted to ship a package. When I brought my items in, the guy running the store got a box, put the items in, and said 140.00. I looked at him and he said yep, you pay for what the box can hold not what's actually in it. I am grateful for this guy as he saved me money as I took my items back and left. I had to return a furniture item, Ron came to my house and picked it up the next day for a small fee. There was an issue with the shippers tracking number and my shipment showed as never leaving the UPS facility, I called Mary at the UPS store and she looked into the problem and called me back within 10 minutes with the correct tracking numbers and I was able to get my refund the next day. I would highly recommend this store to anyone that has a package too heavy to carry, lack of transportation or just want to send a package. read more

The reason went here was I was dropping off a package from a previous online purchase. The store is in a nice location very well maintained. The lady was polite and efficient. I was here previously I had a older man behind the counter, he came across as slightly rude. The lady was much much better. Please note at this location you can not tape any packages up in the store and if you want them to close up a box it will cost you. The ban is posted and the clerk says it is because of insurance. Other local UPS (Dearborn), FEDEX (Taylor), and USPS (Wyandotte) do not ban or charge for this. If you want or need to go to a UPS, I suggest driving to any other UPS store. read more

Service at this location is terrible. They wanted to charge $1.50/box to tape the top closed. The worker told the gentleman in front of me that he had to print his own Amazon return label at home or use their computer which charges $3.00/minute to use. She said the same thing to me. That is not how the Amazon returns work!! You bring them the printed paper copy of the return label. The person working here clearly didn't know what she was doing and hates her job. Extremely disappointed in the customer service I received in this store. I have always been a faithful customer, mailing many boxes out of state on the regular. However my last 2 boxes were lost, rather the driver gave them away to someone other than the intended receiver. I paid the extra fee for signature required, never realizing it was up to the drivers discretion on who could sign for my boxes. I thought it had to be the receiver? When my packages didn't make it to the Intended person I made a claim. It took well over 3 months, with many back and forth conversations with the store staff to get this resolved. The people at the store were very abrupt and not friendly at all. They almost seemed irritated that I needed to be reimbursed for my missing items. I felt as if they thought if they put me off long enough I would just go away. I didn't; I kept on top of this situation which seemed to further bother them. I was finally given a check for their insured amount which is only $100 per box, and only partially payed back on my shipping, because they didn't include my extra signature fees. The lady at the counter said they don't reimburse for fees payed. Wow, that's absurd? Overall I would never use this store or UPS again, as they do not value customer loyalty and I'm out a considerable amount of money due to the value of the boxes. My actual rating would be -5 stars if allowed. Buyer beware at this store. read more
