There are entrances in both the front and back along with parking which was great since it was raining. We went for an early dinner and got seated right away. By the time we were leaving, the restaurant was packed. They offer happy hour from 4-6. Although not on the menu, they offer mocktails as well which was great for me. We tried (and probably over ordered) quite a few options. Some of our favorites were the edamame, sticky ribs and cinnamon roll skillet. Truly everything we had was great. I am obsessed with this meal last week. I'm so glad, my husband and I tried urban tapas on our recent trip. Not only is the restaurant modern and a great vibe, the food was incredible! I was told they only take reservations for parties of more than 6, so we did have to wait a bit to be seated as they look to be understaffed from just opening. No worries though because we were able to get drinks at the bar and find space on the couch to sit down. The staff was upfront and very clear about the 18% gratuity- and we actually really enjoyed the way that all the staff pitch in to give you the best experience. They all do double duty to make sure you're having a good experience. The drinks were great- nice selection of wine by glass or bottle and the cocktails were fun.our waitress recommended 2-3 plates per person and that was perfect! My favorites were the edamame- a little heat but I couldn't stop and there was a good amount of them, the pork belly ball buns, the duck spring rolls and the dessert cinnamon roll skillet. To be honest, there was nothing we had that was bad and we already were scoping out what we'd order next time from the other items on the menu. Wow, the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered about 12 different tapas, some doubles ( we were a party of 8) and everything was fantastic. My personal favorites were the hamachi bowl, diver scallops , hanger steak, onion soup meatballs. The desserts were yummy also. The service was exceptional. My husband and I came in for the first time last night and sat at the bar. I was extremely excited to try this place because I had heard nothing but amazing things about the food. The restaurant looked great, and the food absolutely lived up to the hype. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by an uncomfortable interaction between staff members that took place right in front of guests. While seated at the bar, we witnessed a male bartender speaking disrespectfully to two female servers. The interaction was uncomfortable to watch and appeared to upset the servers. Afterward, the male bartender and a female bartender discussed the situation between themselves and made comments about it being "us versus them." One of the servers eventually left following the interaction. As customers, it was uncomfortable to witness conflict and apparent disrespect among staff, especially in such a public setting. The food was excellent, but our first impression was heavily impacted by the way employees interacted with one another. Because of that experience, we do not plan to return. read more

Amateurish service with barely ok food. We couldn't eat the chicken because it was dry like cardboard! No management supervision. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand does. The six of us were served at separate times with intervals of 15 minutes or more and I never received one of my orders.. When I repetitively asked for it I was told that it will come out when is ready and when it never came I was told that I didn't order it! When we asked for the manager to place a complaint we were approached by another waitress who started to argue with us and technically called the six of us layers. Food and service excellent. Choices are great and have never had anything I didn't like. House wine is good. All prices are fair. Decor is attractive and comfy. Only negative is the noise level with people having to yell over loud music. Will go often but never with more than one person as conversation across a table is very difficult. Everything went well! We were a party of 7 that walked in, were seated immediately and assigned our new fav wait staffer, Gia. My fiancée and I went for dinner tonight (1/15). After being seated by the hostess, we waited over 20 minutes without anyone coming to bring us water or even acknowledging us. While the food choices and flavors were excellent the one thing that really bothers me is the ice water is free but the ice in your cocktail is $3. This makes NO SENSE. What's next? A $2 charge for your napkin? The waitstaff had no explanation for this other than to make it sound like some kind of labor charge to pour the drink. I won't pay for ice in a $12 cocktail. Had higher hopes for the food and service walking into the place, but it appears like those hopes were misplaced. Of the dishes ordered the best one was the mixed charcuterie board and the cinnamon roll. The croquettas, duck spring rolls, and crab dip were just disappointing. Service was terrible; our waitress disappeared for lengths of time anytime we asked for something (water, extra bread, boxes to-go, etc.) Having worked in a kitchen and seeing how small the space was there was no excuse for how long it took to get the service we paid for considering there is an 18% gratuity tip including regardless of the staff performance. Eventually a different waitress and even a food runner was bringing us stuff and taking our plates away. In addition to the poor service a member of my party ordered a glass of wine and the glass had not been cleaned properly (there were still lip marks on the rim) and upon finishing the glass there was residue from the bottom of the bottle in the glass. If it were up to me the 18% tip would've been taken away entirely. Also the space is pretty small so hopefully you're okay with other people sitting pretty close behind you, and it getting potentially loud. read more
