We're going to go 2 Stars for this place, simply for the fact that I ordered it off GrubHub…read more There's a little checkbox to ask to include plates and utensils and napkins. News flash, if you're delivering food to a hotel, chances are your customer needs plates and utensils and napkins. I had to have my food sit for 20 minutes while I went to go hunt down a friggin fork and napkins. So you guys might want to start paying attention. The food is mediocre. I eat a lot of mediterranean, this is sort of like a fast food version, sort of like a Denny's of Mediterranean if you will. The Gyro meat texturewise, doesn't seem that it was shaved off of one of those rotisserie cookers like I'm used to. They didn't even send me any Tzatziki sauce for my pita bread. Can't say much for the atmosphere of this place, because like I said I had it delivered. But I can tell you that I'll never find out firsthand now. I'm so sick of these restaurants ignoring simple requests from paying customers. I spent over 30 bucks on this crap and not even so much as get a napkin. ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. Wow, wow, wow! The BEST Indian restaurant I have ever eaten!…read more I ordered to-go (per usual) the Palak Paneer and Naan bread with mashed potatoes (Aloo Paratha). I had never heard of mashed potato stuffed Naan. And boy oh boy was I delighted when I bit into it and it was curried flavor as well! The portions are large, the prices are appropriate, the food was made to order and served hot and amazingly delicious. I have visited many restaurants in McDonough for years and never gave this place a chance. I wish I had taken the opportunity to go when they offered buffet. This will definitely be a regular staple for great food.

The exit leading to this restaurant can get quite busy, especially during rush hour. The GPS will have you turn into an exit only lane, but the best entrance will be through the Krystal fast food entrance. While this place has tables and chairs, they do not provide table service. They only do take away orders and self-service dining. There is a sign near the register that states this. Menu is great, provides enough dishes for everyone to enjoy - vegetarian or meat or fish. I got butter chicken, palak paneer, rice, garlic naan, and cheese naan to go. I ordered a mango lassi to drink while waiting. All the food I got was delicious, and they understood the assignment when I asked for mild spice. With tip I paid about 60 bucks for all of it. There is enough parking for about 10 cars in front, more on the side. Staff is friendly, but there really isn't much interaction other than when you order.

First off, The catfish wash like it was cut longways. It wasn't anything like ever before. They've changed the fries to unseasoned crinkle cut and for the okra (none existent). They don't sell it anymore at least we've been told. So I got onion rings instead. They were ok. The yasins hot sauce, not the same. Was branded and now they give you Tabasco packets. I really dislike Tabasco! The fish tasted good but it was definitely not the same. This stuff in Griffin has to change! This whole experience was just different this time.I loved this place and now I'm unhappy with it. Just look at my photos. A 3 piece used to fill the plate! It wasn't anything like they took 2 fish and cut it to make 3 pieces. Oh and even the tarter was put in containers! Not their regular branded tarter sauce which was great!

So when I saw the sign, I was a little unsure what was cooking in this building. But I like trying new places, so I parked and went inside. Now, did I think it was seafood? Nope, but I was sure happy to know it was a seafood restaurant. I think the older guy behind the counter could be the owner; he knew a lot about the area. He was such a pleasure to talk to, and we talked about the pictures on the wall. There's a lot of history in those pictures. Well, I settled on the catfish sandwich, fries, and okra. I must say the fish was very good, seasoned and crispy. I ate one half as a sandwich, the other half without the bread, only the fish. The fries were a nice golden color and were very crispy. The okra was seasoned and cooked with just the right temperature, and it had a nice crunch instead of being overcooked and hard. I took my time eating and reading the history behind each picture. Some were baseball teams, and others were reunions. It's also big and roomy inside, which is another plus. But most of all, the seafood is delicious here, and I can't wait to come back to try out more.
