I've been really wanting to go to a concert for a while someone I want to see and I saw a AD the Jonas Brothers was going to play here at The Venue I was like sold bought my ticket I did go by myself and it was amazing. I grew up listening to the Jonas Brothers it was my first time going to see them. There is parking across the street yes you do have to walk thru the casino to get to The Venue I didn't mind felt like I was part of this group going to a concert. After the show I did wait about 35 minutes to wait for the traffic to clear was watching shorts on YouTube etc after that it was smooth sailing. The employees I encountered were really nice to help me find my seat. I didn't get food I did have a big lunch drinks were fairly priced there I've been to others places they charge way more. Bathrooms were easy to get to I like how the stalls don't have gaps feels more private. I was in section 200 and the view was awesome worth the price. For me rather see a concert someone you love and pay little extra for good seats. I will definitely come back here and see another show. So if you want to go to a concert by yourself do it and buy the ticket it is worth the experience. read more

Last weekend the four of us attended a concert. We saw Paul Anka, a songwriter and singer for over 70 years. The Venue is attached to the Casino Resort. The Venue was built three years ago and is enclosed. Prior to this it was an outdoor venue. Pros: * easy access with an outdoor parking lot across the street. A five passenger golf cart is available to take you to and back. * every seat is a good seat. It holds 4K people. We sat in section 202, row F & G, seats 33&34. * two bars are inside where you can order drinks. Prices were average. * ample staff to show you to your seats. Cons: * must walk through the casino to get to the Venue. Obviously this is a strategic move of management. * it's smokey walking through the casino. read more

Nice indoor venue [Lincoln CA] I like that TVC finally made this concert venue indoors because you just don't know how hot it can get here in the valley during summer season... we're freakin' inland! So it's been 3 years now when it opened on February 17, 2023 with a performance by the Eagles. The last time I attended a concert here was in 2016 for the Rewind Fest '16 Presents Lost 80's Live. That was fun! I recently attended the Freestyle Explosion '26 concert here in this new stage and it was nice although I'm not sure about the acoustics. I was sitting on the floor level, not too far from the stage. There was too much bass and I could hardly hear the artist especially George LaMond. The seating setup was nice and when I panned my eyes around it didn't look like there was a bad seat in the house. Freestyle Explosion '26 LINEUP: Stevie B - I didn't stay - saw 2x already in the past Lisa Lisa - stayed halfway- saw 2x in the past Johnny O Cynthia George LaMond Lisette Melendez - Sweet Sensation The seats each had cup holders. There is a bar on the floor level. Lots of venue workers to help guide to their seats. There is also security presence. What an amazing facility. We saw Marcello Hernandez last night and were blown away by the hospitality of the staff and vibe of the place. So many bars, great acoustics and large screens to see it all. This place holds close to 4,500 people like nothing! Very clean facility with comfortable chairs and drink holders. The only tricky thing is that they funnel folks out one direction into the casino which can be odd if you're coming to the show specifically. Their check-in and security screening process gets a little backed up at the main point of entry but eventually opens up. All in all, we hope to return for more shows! read more

I've attended a couple of concerts at The Venue. Previous concert was Janet Jackson in 2023 and recently the Freestyle Explosion. Nice indoor concert venue and there isn't really a bad seat even up at the second level or balcony. Seated at floor level section 101 so I had a cool close view of the stage and performers. Audio at this Freestyle concert was a bit off as they had the bass cranked up at a high level. I understand they want the audience to feel the bass but it was just too high. Compared to the Janet Jackson concert, her sound manager did a great job. Still it was a fun concert with several performers. I came here for the first time to see my favorite band close out their US tour and was extremely surprised as how nice this venue was. Let's dive in... Ambiance - I'm not sure how many seats The Venue holds, but it feels quite spacious. It has a very high ceiling and there's spots for two screens on the sides of the stage for concertgoers who may be seated further away. No cigarette smell was sensed when inside like when you're in the casino. This show had floor seating, and the seats themselves were quite comfortable. Service - We were greeted by several friendly staff. All staff interactions were very positive and they were helpful every step of the way. When we arrived, the room was almost pitch black save for one spotlight on the performer on stage and the ushers assisted us to our seats. It was shocking how dark that room could get, but in a good way. Food - No comments on the food/drink as we did not order any. They had service staff going around taking drink orders between sets which I thought was nice. Overall, this was a great place to see a show and I'd definitely go back! read more

What a beautiful venue! My only real complaint is that you're forced to walk through the casino to get inside. That's an issue for two reasons: first, you have to walk through hella cigarette smoke, and second, it's not a short walk at all. There's also an entrance to The Venue directly from the parking lot, but it's closed. It would be so much easier (and more pleasant) to access the venue from the parking lot instead of having to walk through the casino. Aside from that, my husband and I had a great time at the concert featuring Joe, Mýa, Stokley, and Montell Jordan. We were seated just four rows from the stage, so the view was excellent. The Venue itself is clean, the sound system is good, the seats are a bit tight, and the cocktail prices are reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. Overall, it was a great concert experience. I just wish the entry situation were more convenient. read more

I've been here a few times, for concerts and a comedy show. The staff is friendly, from the ticket takers to the ushers and the seats have a good view, including the 400 level. I sat at the 200 level Friday night for Dirty Heads and enjoyed the view. I love that seats have cupholders, and that the bar and bathrooms were close to my section, 201. I was able to grab merch, use the restroom and get a drink between the opener and main act's sets and got back to my seat right before Dirty Heads took the stage. I like that they have a good assortment of acts rotating thru the events list. The only thing that's frustrating is that they block off the doors that lead to the entrance of the Venue, forcing guests to walk thru the casino, which is a long walk for those just wanting to see a show. I suggest changing this for future shows. Overall, enjoyable experience. read more

15th May, 2026, Norah Jones concert. It's a very nice *venue* for a Norah Jones concert, not too big but not too small, either. Her voice reverberated perfectly, her skills on the piano and guitars were exceptionally impressive, her band had good chemistry with her. For a packed arena, the climate was just right. The cocktails we bought inside need a little work, the staff members we encountered were all friendly, polite, respectful and friendly. The only problem we had, we as in us and the people nearby, were this two women who probably only knew and appreciated a few of Ms. Jones' songs. They were talkative and loud about it, if they didn't know the song that was being sung, they talked yelling at one another, went to their smartphones to check on whatever it was that was more important than the show, and was just lacking in the event's etiquette. There was a lady in front of them that looked behind her a few times and I can tell by her face that she was clearly annoyed. Along came staff and nicely told the ladies to be more respectful to the other people. I give the staff thumbs up for this because the two could have been escorted out without warning. I noticed that there were no restrooms nearby. The closest ones are in the lobby. It'd be too far for less mobile people. The restrooms were immaculately clean. I liked the overall experience and I believe that if there's another performer we'd like to see, we wouldn't hesitate to be there. read more

My first visit to The Venue. We'd been to the amphitheater several times for the Rewind shows and miss it. Have heard the Venue was nice and not a bad seat in the house. Our seats were in section 400 and were comfortable and had a good view of the stage below. The screens on either side of the stage were great - nice clear pictures of the performers. Acoustics were good. If you're so inclined they have bars on either side of the theater. The show was excellent and the intermission music was excellent as well (I am an 80's fiend) it was a very enjoyable experience and would not hesitate to see a show there again, unlike Golden 1 that I won't go back. Biggest complaint is that they route you through the crowded smoky casino to the entrance of the venue. I understand their thought process they expect that people will stop and play slots before and after the show. Totally unnecessary and annoying to the vast majority of concert patrons. If you're inclined to want to gamble you'll find your way to the casino floor easily. They really should take down the fencing they put in and route people directly to the doors. read more

Went to my first concert at this venue when the Jonas Brothers were in town last month. They had plenty of people directing traffic outside so it was easy to find parking across the street from the venue, rather than the parking garage on the other side of the casino. However the parking lot is so difficult to get out of since it's just one lane to exit and one right turn lane to get out of the area towards the freeway! Aside from that the venue itself was very clean, several restrooms and bars to order drinks. I was surprised they even had actual food too! The spicy tuna sushi I ordered wasn't the freshest but what do you expect from a casino... the other part I didn't like was the entrance/exit of the venue itself. You HAVE to walk through the casino to get in/out which makes no sense, seemed like a fire hazard when we were exiting! Not to mention that awful cigarette smoke you have to endure when you're walking through. I wish they'd just have a separate entrance/exit for the venue itself. Other than that we loved our seats in the 200s section, felt super close to the stage! And the service was great, tons of people ready to help you at any minute. read more

Last Saturday, I attended the legends of Motown show at the venue at thunder Valley. As many times have been to thunder Valley. I have never attended a show at the venue however I've been to tons of shows when they had the outdoor concerts in previous years. That place is absolutely breathtaking when you walk in. I love that they have a backdrops so you can take a picture. I sure did. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The bartenders when you enter in the main area were super nice. I feel bad for forgetting the name of the female bartender that we had but she was super sweet. Even the usher's as we were locating, our seats were extra helpful. The show was absolutely amazing. It was so great to see the artist that were singing these phenomenal songs of the Motown era. I had fun from start to finish. read more

Watched Third Eye Blind at The Venue At Thunder Valley with my wife, reminiscing the 90's with their catchy songs sure relive our younger days. Comfort-wise, The Venue sure is great. Isles are wide enough for people to pass though without contorting on your seat. Bars are readily available inside the venue at every level to satisfy anyone's thirst. Sonically, it sure sounded pretty good. What is very comfortable at The Venue sure is conducive to concert goers being to 'relaxed'. The sweat, stench, and 'hotbox' sure is absent at the Venue. I felt bad for the front act as they had a hard time riling up the crowd. Overall, we had a good time watching at The Venue. read more

The customer service help was so friendly and very helpful in helping us find our seats. Smooth in and out after seeing the artist. The only problem i really have is the parking. It's best to park in the casino parking and walk all the way down to the Venue. My seat was located at the highest level. Literally nothing but a wall behind me and no other seats which is level 404 S-25 and S-26. During the opening act - there was no wall/screen projector so the performer looked like an ant. She was so tiny from where I was sitting, I couldn't even tell what she looked like or what she was wearing. It was pretty much pitched dark when you're trying to walk up the stairs to locate your row and seat number. You have no choice but to use a camera flashlight on your phone which is distracting for others. Security check in was simple and the staffs that let you know where your seat were kind. The lines for food and drink were long so I didn't bothered getting anything. Sound, background, and lighting were great during the main performance. Unfortunately I left the show early because the kid sitting two seats next to me was constantly screaming. She had people turning around annoyed and even her grandmother tried to tell her to calm down - which didn't work. The kid screamed with all her might - literally would cough after each scream because it affected her throat. It was ringing loud and someone was getting hurt. Way too distracting and it was annoying. I couldn't even enjoy the performer because she would scream non stop. Mind you, this is the Hasley concert where her music is about drugs, toxic relationships and finding herself. Kid was about 9 years old repeating the lyrics. Seats were tight and close proximity. You'll have to stand up everytime someone needs to get by. read more

Attended the concert of Elvis Costello & Imposters as opening act then the Darryl Hall band as the main act. The Costello band was absolutely awful. Out of tune, meandering, poorly engineered sound. Darryl Hall band was marginally better. The usually precise band, as you know if you have watched the Darryl's House television series, was also not tempo solid. And Darryl was floating all over the place. Buy the man a metronome and make him use it. The Venue is big, the sound system is good, the chairs are comfortable. I've visited most big performance spaces in the Sacramento area over the past year. This one is the most impressive. Just wish that more acts that I would enjoy would be booked here. read more

This event center is modern and fairly comfortable. Everything worked flawlessly from check in to seating. The staff is well trained and observant don't get caught using your phone if it says no phones lol. My only real complaint is having the exits near the Venue closed. Closing the doors forces everyone to exit the long way through the casino. read more

The Venue at Thunder Valley is easily one of my favorite places for concerts. There's really not a bad seat in the house; no matter where you sit, the view and sound are both great. You can tell it was built for live music because the acoustics are on point. The staff are always super friendly, helpful, and organized, and everything runs smoothly from parking to finding your seat. The place itself is clean and modern, but still has a fun vibe. I've never had a bad experience here. The energy is always great, and every show I've seen has sounded amazing. Drinks are what you'd expect for a venue, but they're decent and the bar staff are quick and nice. There are also bars on every floor, so the line doesn't get crazy long. And the bathrooms are clean (which feels worth mentioning!). Honestly, it's just one of those spots I actually look forward to going back to. The only thing that I found disappointing was having to walk through the bad odor of smoke inside the casino to get to the concert venue! Why couldn't Thunder Valley allowed entry into The Venue without having to pass by the casino...? Bad... But The Venue was really beautiful. Checking in was a breeze with a lot of staff present to help you. Inside, there were more than enough food counters and restrooms on each of the three levels! And the place was nicely decorated. The seats were comfortable and with enough legroom to allow people to pass by to get to thier seats. The acoustics were also excellent! Everything was clear enough to be heard, be it the music or the performers talking to the audience. It's a very nice concert venue! We went to watch John Legend at the Venue at Thunder Valley. The theater is just a walking distance from the casino. There was a security check at the gate, and it was a breeze once you got to the door. They checked your ticket and once you get inside, there are several ushers who will direct you to your seats. We were seated in section 202 and it was literally in the middle of the theater. The seats are very comfortable and the view is just perfect. It's on the lower level so it''s very close to the stage. John Legend's performance was outstanding. He sang several of his famous hit songs and encouraged the crowd to sing with him. The acoustics of the theater are very good and the sound system was perfect. We enjoyed the music and performance by John Legend. His performance lasted for a couple of hours. The price for our ticket is reasonable and we were more than satisfied watching him perform. The Venue has several performers scheduled to be on stage for the next few months and we will check if we want to watch another show at the Venue. read more

The Venue is a lovely addition to TV. I've seen several shows here over the past couple of years and they do it right! The bar area has numerous box meal/snack options for pre-show snacking . The drinks are good... pricy but good (but on par for a concert venue ) would be nice if there were more standing tables for folks pre-show. We had to just stand around holding our drink.... "I have been to The Venue 3+ times now; Khalid, Aaron Lewis, and now Maoli. Each time was pretty bomb! My wife is 5'2" so she likes to be in the front of sections. Since this concert was nearly sold out by the time we bought our tix, we got the last two seats in the front row of section 402. When we arrived to our seats, bevvies in hand, my wife sat first with ease. I declined into my seat and it seems my 212lb body either broke the chair, or it was already broken. So I stood up, walked around my wife to sit on the other side of her, which we knew had sold because we had the last two tickets in that section. So we told the usher -- my wife with her kindness and beautiful smile let the usher know the situation, having been sold out, and she kindly responded, "let me get my manager." I went back to the seat to stay out of the way, and to my surprise, my wife said "come on," they are going to figure this out... To our amazement, because my wife is 5'2" and The Thunder Valley venue is such a great experience, the manager took us to the ground floor after asking "if that is okay, you'll definitely be able to see from here." We were escorted to the FRONT ROW front and center. By no means did we expect anything -- we would have simply scooted over a few seats -- but instead... kindness for the W! Have seen several shows here and had a greta experience every time! Most recently I saw Halsey perform and there truly isn't a bad seat in the venue. The staff is also super on top of making sure fans don't stand in the aisles and everyone remains respectful. There are also bars on both sides of the venue which makes it easy to grab a drink between songs or sets without having to miss the music. When it comes to parking, my recommendation would be to park in the lot outside across from the venue as the parking garage is a complete nightmare to get out of. While the venue itself is a smoke free space, you do have to walk through the casino to get to the venue, so keep that in mind if you have a sensitivity to smoke. read more

For years, I went to Thunder Valley shows because they used to have sign language interpreters. I saw Jeff Dunham, Ken Jung, Joel McHale with Robin Thicc. Access was great then. Now no language access for Deaf people. For Jo Koy, I bought tickets and asked for an interpreter when I purchased. Box office said yes. At the show, no interpreter. Everyone confused. Same thing later for Penn & Teller. Told again there will be one. None. To follow along, I used live captions on my phone. It's the live CC feature on the iPhone in Accessibility if you're Deaf and haven't found it yet. Not video, just text. An usher tapped my shoulder and pointed at the phone. My friend explained it's captions because I'm Deaf. Usher said okay and apologized. Then security in a green shirt came and said no phones. We explained it was the only way for me to follow along since no interpreter was provided. The usher spoke with him, then another security in a black shirt came. Black shirt agreed and left, but the green shirt stayed standing behind my seat the entire show while I used captions. Wouldn't even need captions if they brought interpreters back like before. Two shows, same problem, and no proper accommodation even when requested at time of ticket purchase. Next time I'll be asking for refunds since I had interpreter approval in writing for both shows. The only reason this isn't 1 star is because the usher in section 202 handled everything with kindness and respect. She earned that second star herself. Ambiance is okay. Floor seats are the worst, packed like sardines unless you're very front. VIP seat is way off in the wings don't recommend either if you're paying to be close but nice since bar is right there. read more

This is a solid 4 stars for me. Pretty good, but has room for improvement. I start with the obvious based on other reviews. Go to the website to view bag restrictions. It does make security check pretty quick. This is at a casino. Yes, they make you walk through the casino to get to the Venue. If you are sensitive to smoke or gambling, then this is not your place. I am not mad about this. They pay a fortune to build this to bring people who may not normally visit the casino, to spend money and hopefully come back OR entice the regulars to come back to play. My "free" tickets cost me $500 when I normally would have just stayed home. Come early. This is the busiest casino I have ever seen with concert or not. Parking can be challenging and if you park in garage, the elevators are mega slow. Food choices are not good if you want better than food court. High Steaks and Red Lantern require reservations on weekends. Best bet is Dos Coyotes that has restaurant seating. Now unto The Venue. Finally visited for the first time this weekend. It has taken me this long because anything I was remotely interested in, was horribly expensive, $200+ for decent seats. The summer outdoor concerts were never this expensive but they also were not able to get the headliners like they do now. We came to see comedian Bill Engvall because TVC sent me an email offering 2 free tickets Tuesday morning for Saturday night. I am no longer a green card so this means that they had lots of leftover tickets for this event. I even saw a giveaway on Facebook for these. On the night of the show, 70% of the row behind me remained vacant. Engvall was funnier than expected although it started out very slow. Showtime was 8pm and he came on stage at 8:15. Show lasted til 945. The sound was not great and I had a little tough time hearing him as a person with normal hearing so is it the arena or his staff? The arena seats 4,500. We sat in the first section above the floor seats and it was a decent distance to where I watched the video screen more than he stage. The floor seats are even level while every where else had gradual elevation. The boucany is pretty high up so I probably would never get tickets there. The seats were cushy, but the arm rests are hard thin plastic that was not comfortable. I expected them to lift but they did not. The rows are also very tight to where you had to stand up and lean as far back as you could to allow someone to walk past. Some arenas are open enough to where you just need to tuck your knees in, not here. Of course it is really nice, modern and clean because its less than 2 years old. I did appreciate that all encountered staff was very friendly and helpful in finding your seat. Drink prices was fair. Definitely check it out at least once. They have a wider variety of entertainers than they used to. read more

This is by far one of the best venue I've been to for a concert. Easy in and out!!! They have evaluators to each floor and escalator as well. On each floor inside the seating area there are 2 bars, so you don't miss anything. The users were very pleasant to deal with and they are very helpful. The Venue At Thunder Valley - View from our seat to Stage - Music Venues Near Me - Lincoln, California

As of November 2024, this is an indoor venue (my friend tells me it used it be outdoors, but they've clearly made changes in the past few years, so it's now a beautiful and well-designed indoor performance space). We attended Mariah Carey's holiday concert, which put viewers in the christmas spirit but also included some of her greatest hits, like Hero, Fantasy, and Always Be My Baby. Her show even featured the musical talents of her two kids who took the spotlight during a segment of the show. My partner got great seats so I was lucky to have a front row view of the stage from the balcony overhang section, though looking around, there didn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. And there are two large screens, one on each side of the stage, too. The bars inside the auditorium made it easy to grab a drink without missing any action, no waits or lines either. They are not super strict with the bag policy. The have many signs at the casino, venue, and online, stating that they only allow up to 8x8 inches (if not a clear bag). My purse was 10x6, and they didn't even notice or care, and we didn't encounter any delays as we arrived early for the show. The staff throughout the venue were friendly yet professional, which allowed for a carefree atmosphere where everything went smoothly, so we could fully enjoy and appreciate the musical entertainment and amazing vocals of Mariah Carey. What's more, the impressive lighting and sound on stage ensured a truly engaging experience for the audience. We certainly had a good time. read more

Having endured the outdoor amphitheater in the summertime, I love "the venue". Everybody is friendly, everything is clean, and even the prices at the concession stands are reasonable.. It's much more intimate than Golden 1 Center. There is not a bad seat in the house. The seats are comfortable, and there are giant screens on either side of the stage so you can see the show with no problem at all. I haven't seen any actual musical concerts yet, but I've seen Gabriel Iglesias, (FLUFFY!!! FLUFFY!!! FLUFFY!!!) here shortly after it opened, , and he was riffing big time on how he was so glad that he didn't have to perform in the parking lot anymore. Last night, I saw Bill Engvall, I was a little bit more than halfway up the theater, and I could see and hear with no problem at all. Another great show. Thunder Valley has a good number of bars and restaurants, a decent (although expensive ) hotel, a small, but nice gift shop, and lots and lots of gambling, if that's your thing. The only possible negative, is that the parking garage is literally on the other end of the casino from the venue, and it's quite a walk. Even if you drop somebody off, that's about halfway down the casino, but then you have to walk through the smoky casino to get to the venue. It didn't bother me, but it might bother somebody with respiratory issues. They really should make an entrance from the outdoors directly into the venue. Other than that, I had a great time. The Venue at Thunder Valley is an intimate, 4,500 seat venue with great audio/visual when attending a concert. Just be sure to arrive more than an hour early and either stay the night at the hotel or spend an hour enjoying the casino afterward while traffic dies down (unless you can get a spot on the 1st floor of the parking garage). The only bad part about the experience is the LONG line to park and then leave the parking garage. They need actual people directing traffic at the intersection of Industrial and Athens Ave upon arrival because inching slowly for 30-45 min on a two-lane country road to park is insane. The traffic signal is poorly timed, leading to major backups. Once you're on Athens, many of the parking lot entrances were blocked with cones. WHY??!! When leaving, it took an hour to get out of the parking garage from the 6th floor. Again, no traffic management. We were told that CHP was directing traffic, but we never saw them. There is more than one exit from the parking garage, but you have to drive down the up ramp to get to it if you parked on the wrong side of the garage. People were moving the cones inside the garage to get out. If you can leave from the western exit that takes you to Foothills Blvd, it's smooth sailing driving away. There has to be a more efficient way to handle all the people people coming and going from a concert. Work on that, Thunder Valley. read more
