the concert hall itself was great. we had to walk through the smokey casino to get there and to leave. (there are gates that could have been opened to avoid this). they also waited until the concert was over to reverse the escalator- so getting out was a bit of a debacle. and there was no one directing traffic out of the parking lot- so it almost an hour just to get out of the lot. read more

We attended a New Year's Eve Boyz II Men concert in this hall and had a great time! This was my first experience in this hall but have attended several outdoor concerts at Thunder Valley and they have always been great experiences. It was New Year's Eve and the casino and parking lots were packed! However, the casino had a great party atmosphere and vibe and I won a small jackpot while waiting for the Hall doors to open. Once the doors opened the line moved quickly. Although to be honest, I was really taken aback by how rudely the staff were yelling and barking at people waiting in line. I totally understand the need to have your tickets in hand, to keep moving, to make a line, etc. but the rudeness with which this was done was completely uncalled for and I saw several people making faces. I have never witnessed this outside and those lines include metal detectors too. The Hall is fairly intimate and has pretty much no bad seats. This setup included two bars stationed in the back of the room with really long lines. However, the bar staff were super nice and the lines moved quickly. I had some back pain and the chairs provided only made the pain worse. I easily rectified the situation by standing up in the back though and still had a fairly good view. read more

Indoor concert venue Had a chance to enter this banquet hall a few times to watch a couple of concerts early this year and also enjoy a Halloween VIP event (2014). It is located somewhere in the middle of the casino so you have to walk through the smoke filled area to get to this place. If you make it late to get in line the line gets long and wraps around some slot machines and which means you get to smell the smoke in the air longer... Pano Hall is between the fast food dining section and the Rewards Card counter. There are restrooms immediately right outside of the Pano Hall so you don't have to wander everywhere to look for one if you have to use it in between performances inside the hall. Inside there is a bar section immediately to your left. This is the back of the hall. If it is being used as a concert the seats are arranged depending on the amount of crowd expected to attend the concert and they use two giant screens on each side of the room. The seats are regular cushioned chairs that stack and attach to each other. There is not much leg room either as you make your way in the section aisle to your seats. Guests who purchased tickets has the middle section seating. Comped tickets has the sides reserved for them. You could be seated just right underneath the huge screens if your tickets are comped. They do have staff workers that will assist you to locating your seat. I was able to see Big Bad Voodoo Daddy during the New Years Eve event and also The Legends of Motown Tribute last weekend during Martin Luther King Jr. weekend. The Halloween VIP event I attended (as a guest of my friend) last year had no seating but they had tall bar tables on both sides of the banquet hall and made the middle section as a dance floor as they had a live band music on stage entertaining the guests. My hubby paid around $140 for two tickets to see the SOS Band on 2/16/19. In all honesty, the tickets should have cost around $25 each. This is due to the venue, not the artists. The SOS Band and Club Noveau were great! They, like the rest of us, deserved better. Issue #1 - You pay for assigned seats, but the seats (which look like they came from my auntie's dining room by the way) don't have row indicators that are clearly visible. This may be because it was way too dark to see them and there were people standing around blocking the rows. There were no ushers on hand to assist you with finding your seat or to tell folks to sit down so that the aisles were clear. Issue #2 - The dining room chairs were placed all the way up against the wall, which meant that there was no additional aisle left open when you entered the row. Thank GOD there was not an emergency, because everyone would have had to use the one aisle, which was congested from folks standing around being ghetto and waiting to buy drinks. Issue #3 - It was so dark that I could not see any other exits besides the way we came in. I also did not see any illuminated lighting indicating where the emergency exits were. Of course, this could be because of everyone standing around being ghetto and waiting to buy drinks. Issue #4 - The bar located inside the venue was so small that it could not handle the volume of customers, which led to, as previously mentioned, a long line contributing to the congestion in the aisle. This was by far the best hotel I've ever stayed never have I been to a hotel that thought of everything staff was very nice and polite made sure we knew all there amenities the rooms were so clean and slept like a baby will definitely stay there again and will recommend to friends and family. Went here last night to see Regine V Concert (05/17/19). It was full. Yes, seats were like dining chairs just placed altogether. It has rows and numbers. Helpful attendants. Not that cramped unless you are like a 350lbs, you may not fit well on the chairs. Small bar in the back is slow and pricey. My main issue here is the "non-smoking". My ticket even says "NON-SMOKING". Yes, you cannot smoke inside BUT.. since it is located all the way at the end from the entrance using the elevators, you have to go through all the smokers in the casino and bring the smell all over the hall. Which makes it smells like a smoking venue. It would be better if this Pano hall will have its own entrance or separate from the casino which is impossible. We all know second hand smoking is worst than smoking. And people who come here with asthma or lung issues, will not like it at all and has no choice since you have already paid for the tickets. Sorry but this will be my last to attend this venue. read more

I agree with the other reviewer this place has very poor seating arrangements. If your sitting to far off to the side or toward the back you might have to watch the screens more than the stage to catch the show. The stage was too low for the some of the segments of the Cirque Shanghai show. Also with the seats attached to each other you have to "excuse" and "pardon" yourself across a bunch of people to get in and out. read more

Every time i am in this room, its a private party. . So the room isn't really all that fancy. It is just a normal looking room to me, where there is a stage, dance floor, and tables in the middle, and bars in the back corners. . The food is always cater by Thunder Valley casino, they do a buffet style on both sides of the room. They usually serve salmon, tri tip, and chicken. with sides of mac and cheese, scalloped potatoes, and a nice salad with bread. The dessert table is a mixed dessert which is okay. . The tables are comfortable and fit about 10 people in each table. It doesn't feel crowded every time i come here for a party, maybe because there is like 200 to 300 people in here. . I always have a good time when i come here to party. They do have cheaper drink prices in here than the bar outside in the casino. They might have done a packaged with the party people who host it. Sometimes the party even offer free drinks for us, with one drink ticket per person. . Overall its usually private parties that i attend here is whats up in this room. Three Dog Night show: sound system very bad. No "main" speakers in sight. Seems like I'm hearing ceiling speakers; for meetings, NOT rock shows. Plus way too much bass; subs just made band more muddy. I am a sound engineer with many Broadway and concert show credits; so this is no amateur complaint. For $50+ a ticket, expected pro sound system! Chairs locked together was an added minus, like flying coach in a center seat. Ear plugs required to deal with bad, loud mix. Zero degree angle for follow spotlights must have been especially rotten for performers being blinded. Audience blinder lights were a bad treat for those seated in front. Lead singer was often not covered by spotlight while telling stories or introducing band members. The Robo-cameras on overhead truss gave poor, washed-out, almost monochrome pix to screens. Production values poorly designed or venue just cheaped-out. Basically, the worst production values of ANY show I've seen including high school productions. This is after working sound on Pavarotti, seven Broadway show tours in 120 cities, 33 movie and TV shows, and hundreds of convention/industrial shows. To say it was run by a High School AV Club would be insulting, to AV Club. Would change two stars to one, if I could. read more

Girlfriend celebrated her birthday, with her brother and sister- in- law from Fla on Sat Feb 17th. at Thunder Valley Casino, Lincoln Ca. All three bought raffle tickets for a drawing at 1900hrs. One of the trio's name was called and had THREE MINUTES to claim prize, $1000. Wasn't able to get through the packed crowd to get to the kiosk, however her husband did, in time, followed shortly by the wife.Time elapsed. Winnings denied. 'Chris' from the rewards center at Thunder Valley,stated " I don't think it's right"(re: the 3 minute 'rule)' but those are the rules. FYI For anyone buying raffle tickets at this casino, make sure you are up by the Kiosk. Rules are rules, true. But 3 minutes to claim winnings? How about someone in a wheelchair, trying to get through the throng? I suggested to 'Chris' to have management, or however is in charge, to make it perhaps 10-15 minutes to claim winnings-instead of a ridiculous 180 seconds. read more

My first experience with this venue and my biggest complaint would be the seating arrangements. Its essentially a large square room that would serve better as a banquet hall than a concert venue. All of the seats are literally attached to one another leaving no breathing room between me and the person next to me. My wife turned to me at one point and said the guy next to her was playing "footsies" with her. I would happily pay $5-10 more dollars for a ticket if it meant less cramming of the seats! Went to see tower of power there tonight and the band was great as always but miss Larry brags the old lead singer. He was alot better than the new singer but main problem was the very uncomfortable hard seats with no elbow room. For the money spent on tickets they need to provide something better. I have seen two shows in the Pano Hall. The entertainment is excellent, the seating layout is very poorly arranged. Surely they could have a better set up for the entertainers. Hope they will work on making every seat one that can see the stage. read more

Went to a awards banquet here. There had to be well over 500 people there. The room accommodated everyone nicely. The food was served buffet style. They needed to have a few more buffets set up. It took dinner over a hour for everyone to go through the buffets. The spinach salad was good, mixed vegetables good, the mashed potatoes were excellent, good recipe. The rolls were really good, they had different types, mine was honey walnut wheat, and my wife had jalapano cheese. The chicken was flavorful, the tri-tip was so so. To me it lacked flavor, but I can throw down on the tri-tip so maybe I am just over critical. One other thing they should do is have a entrance closer to the venue so you don't have to walk through the smoke filled casino to get to the room. The smoke was so bad it was hard to breath. I attended the Australian Bee Gees Tribute in the Pano Hall at Thunder Valley Casino and the show was fabulous. If you have a chance to see this group, jump on it! The energy was electric and everyone, I mean everyone was on their feet dancing and singing along. So much fun. There were people of all ages in the audience and no one was disappointed. Very professional and talented group with exceptional rapport with the audience. The hall itself was not much to speak of; I had fairly good seats but I could see there were a lot of bad seats. It's not really a theater but a square room with a stage and chairs in front of it. But the show was worth it. I would like to see this group in the the outdoor amphitheater. read more

Thunder Valley's web site says Pano Hall has comfortable seating and spacious aisles. That's not an exaggeration . . . . it's a bare faced lie! They call it an "intimate" setting. You bet it is!! By the time the show was over, I felt intimately connected to the people sitting on each side of me. Don't go to see shows in Pano Hall unless you are a size 6 or below!! People were crammed into hard chairs that we're linked together so they couldn't even moved a bit to get a tiny amount of space. I complained to a supervisor that the person with me had a bad back and could not spend 2 hours crammed in like a sardine. The supervisor's response was that I had not asked if the seating was cramped or comfortable when I made the reservation. OMG! The entertainer was performing for the one night only so I guess Thunder Valley wanted to make the most money they could and put as many chairs in the room as would fit. read more
