Theatre is right on Victory Blvd surrounded by residential streets. Parking seemed plentiful (& you can park in residential as well but no parking lot itself). As for the venue, the Sunday performances require masks and when a customer in front of me inquired about it the staff member indicated that they offer Sundays for those customers who want to wear masks. Doesn't make sense to me because if a customer wants to wear a mask during any performance in this venue they should be able to. Upon that said, there were a few customers not wearing any masks (again, makes no sense). The other con is they offer refreshments for sale at reasonable prices; however, you cannot take them into the theatre. I have only been to one other theatre that did not allow food nor drinks so you have to arrive early if you want refreshments or you can purchase during the intermission but have to hurry to finish up. Although staff was friendly and informative, the venue was cramped although plenty of seating is available. I doubt I will patronize this theatre again unless it was a "to die for" performance showing. read more

On July 13th, 2024 , My wife and I went to the Victory Theatre Center to see/hear a wonderful singer, Elena Gilliam, and her five piece back-up band. We were greeted by Kent, a very friendly gentleman who met us at the door and answered all our questions. The staff served snacks before the show. This was our first visit to the Victory Theatre Center. The Theater seats were very comfortable, a great sound system, and Elena is a very talented singer. We will definitely return to this very friendly theater and we hope to see Kent again. read more

Came here for a play and really liked it. It was about consent in marriage called THE END OF SEX. I am interested to see what else this playhouse debuts. There is plenty of street parking. Eat at Siri Thai Cuisine which is a mile away before the show. I am never in this part of town, but it was a fun night. read more

Wonderful neighborhood theater space! This weekend, saw The Last Night Inn written by actor, playwright and producer Anthony Montes. Three plays within one with a constant thread throughout about desperate characters and what happens in one hotel room. The acting was excellent and I cared about the characters, all actors are top notch professionals. Each play was compelling. Below is from the Victory Theatre page. One difference was the night I was there, the lead character in the last play was a woman. She was superb! Highly recommend! Three nights, three murders and one motel room. The Last Night Inn, follows an assortment of characters who inhabit the fringes of society and share the dubious distinction of checking into room 234 at The Last Night Inn. There is the low level mobsters who find themselves scrambling to save their lives when their plan to win favor with their boss backfires. There are the two lost souls who make a desperate attempt to correct the sins of the past. And finally, there is the troubled man who finds himself at the end of his rope only to discover that fate, sometimes has its own plans. read more

I've seen two shows at The Victory Theater. The last show that I saw, Old Glory and I was VERY impressed with the show. The actors all gave stellar performances and the script is fabulous. This theater definitely puts up quality shows. I've actually made plans to go and see Old Glory again with friends from out of town, just because it was that good. Hint! If you call the box office they will work with you on the ticket price if you are coming with a group. They gave me a solid discount for my upcoming group reservation. read more

The Victory Theatre Center is one of the friendliest theaters in LA! Quality shows, professional performances, 3 FREE parking lots & a wonderful staff. So quaint and cozy nestled in the neighborhood amongst the houses. Community theatre in all regards. Went here with my boyfriend to see "The Last Days of Judas Iscariot" (which is playing until 4/6/13 http://www.zvents.com/burbank_ca/events/show/301609907-the-last-days-of-judas-iscariot HIGHLY RECOMMEND great play!!) LOVED who small it was! Really felt apart of the show. They have stadium seating and the bathrooms can be accessed through a door in the back. Its really SMALL. So don't expect anything grandiose. "Resolving Hedda" was excellent. It's well written and is performed by an superior cast. The set and costumes are beautiful. The theater itself is new and comfortable and there isn't a bad seat in the 98 seat house. We will be returning to the Victory Theatre to see future productions. read more

I love this place. The highest quality productions. Maria and Tom take chances and tackle plays covering controversial subjects. Often, with humor. Always with class. The acting is superb. A comfortable theater. Easy to get to. Lots of street parking. Last night, we saw Elijah (You've got to go see it). The LA Times certainly liked it - it's a Critic's Choice! Several characters are stuck in a TGIFriday's during a hurricane. They cannot leave due to floods on all roads. The only reason the restaurant is open is because the manager just stopped by to check on it - and found a lot of people outside trying to shelter from the storm. So she, her niece and an invisible cook (normally a dishwasher) try to accommodate everyone for the night. Very emotional topics are argued, tempers flare, opinions and attitudes will reflect those of various audience members. No matter what position you take on these issues, they are represented in the cast. We were totally absorbed in the story and the acting. The people were so very real. Despite the topics and the tension, Judith Leora found a way to inject humor and pathos. I don't want to give you details - they would be spoilers. Go see it yourself. You will love this play - and this theater. read more

It was my birthday yesterday, and so tonight we went to the Victory Center Theater for the current production of "Molly," running through December 20th. The seating was comfortable, and the performance of excellent quality. The downsides were: (1) the line outside the bathroom, located at the rear of the theatre, making the wait for relief a long one, especially on this very chilly night; and (2) the scarcity of parking. Thank goodness we didn't mind the walk down the side street We agreed we would definitely consider another visit to a future performance. read more

Sexism, racism, ageism, corporate "culture" -- and it's a COMEDY?! Great cast, great writing, and a great set (be sure and watch them convert an office into a hotel room during intermission). Victory Theatre definitely has a winner on its hands with Showpony. read more

Just saw The Engine of our Ruin on a recent trip to LA- it was fantastic!!! It is a "must see" with its witty script and actor chemistry. It is also very quick moving, it will leave you wanting more. read more

On a whim we went to the Victory Theatre on Superbowl Sunday to see Who's Your Daddy. What a great little theatre! They are very friendly and grateful that you have come, and both the director and artistic director were there talking to people before and after the show. The show was absolutely amazing. We have talked about it for 2 days. I will definitely keep my eye on this little gem!! read more
