Dinner at The View was excellent. Service was attentive throughout the evening, and despite our party of nine, the staff handled everything seamlessly. Courses arrived at an appropriate pace, and the team was accommodating and professional from start to finish. Overall, we were very pleased with the experience. My only criticism was dessert: the portion felt surprisingly small for an $18 menu price. The complimentary macarons helped soften the blow. We also had breakfast at The View. The menu and staff seem to steer guests toward the buffet, as ordering à la carte doesn't make much financial sense. Unfortunately, the buffet was underwhelming. The scrambled eggs were disappointing, the pastries tasted as though they had been sourced elsewhere rather than made in-house, and the much-touted granola was served alongside packaged Chobani yogurt, which felt somewhat at odds with the restaurant's upscale positioning. Had a private dinner here and it was very nice. A lot of good choices on the menu, but the pork chop was calling my name. It was fantastic; thick cut and cooked perfectly. A friend let me try the Chilean seabass and it was tasty too. For dessert, I got the flight of ice cream (blueberry, banana, and chocolate) and they were refreshing. We love this place! Firstly, our server and busser were so sweet and attentive. We both had the lime spritz for a mocktail, which was delicious. The bread basket contained a large variety of breads. We started with the Caesar salad which we split between the two of us, and was plenty for both. I got the salmon with ratatouille and it was outstanding. The View, the Restaurant at the Mirror Lake inn, is quite lovely inside and out. No Cellphone policy is nice. The $100 per person deposit when you make a reservation is completely absurd. I could understand if the place was wall to wall and near impossible to get a reservation but the place was, at best, 1/3 full. Also, no "view" at night. I'm sure the view of Mirror Lake is beautiful but not at 7pm in the winter. We, arrived 15 minute early for our reservation and had a drink at the bar. They had some trouble with the printer and the bartender replaced the paper. He handed me a bill and I gave them my card. Bartender ran my card and handed it back to me, I added a tip and I handed it back to him. 5 minutes later the bartender came back, looked me dead in the eye and said, "You never settled your tab, sir." This is how our night started.. 5 minutes later, the maître D' came to us in the bar and told us our table was ready. We still had pretty full straight up Makers Mark Manhattans but no one offered to carry them to our table. Do I sound uppity? 4 Diamond Restaurant- You can't get out the door without dropping $4-500 in a place like this and no one offered to carry wife's drink to the table. FFS I ordered the Gem lettuce salad got mixed greens. Wife ordered the Mushroom Potage- best thing all night. I ordered the Venison Bolognese for $49- Meh, gritty, boring and bland. Wife ordered the Sautéd Shrimp for $54- she vomited from the time we got home until 3 am. WTF? Desert was mixed sherbets and Salted Caramel Mousse $18 each. I was looking for a nice relaxing breakfast, where I wouldn't be rushed. I decided to try the buffet at the restaurant in The Mirror Lake Inn. The hotel and dining room have a very old world, classical style and the dining area feels quite formal. The service was very good and my server was very attentive. The buffet is small but had a nice selection. Eggs, applewood smoked bacon, sausage, cereal, smoked salmon, oatmeal, breads, bagels, yogurt, granola, cheese and pastries. The buffet comes with juice and coffee and tea are additional. The bacon was perfect for me, not hard and crispy and the sausage was very flavorful. The smoked salmon was excellent and they had capers and onions. The homemade granola had good flavor but should have been crisper. The fruit was fresh. read more

Lake Placid is quite an easy getaway destination from NYC with plenty of hiking, winter/water sports, small town shopping, and the view(S). It also has plenty of eateries specializing in BBQ, sandwiches, and pizza on the aptly named main sprawl, Main Street. However, if you are looking into a more romantic setting, the multiple inns house some finer dining. My boyfriend and I make an effort to have one fancy night on each vacation venture-- during our Lake Placid stay, we decided on The View. The View lives in the Mirror Lake Inn and as the name promises, has a clear view of Mirror Lake. We did not plan far in advance and so when we searched on Resy, there were no reservations left so we decided to shoot our shot by calling. Lucky for us, we were offered a 7:30 PM reservation on the Saturday (day after the call). We were advised that there is a dress code- no t-shirts, shorts, sweatshirts with a hood, flipflops, etc and that there is a no phones/no pictures policy. There was a lot of free parking in front of the inn (although, if you have to park further, you may need to pay for metered parking). We were ~15 minutes early and were told that they were still preparing our table so we grabbed a drink each at the bar. My boyfriend ordered their ESPRESSO MARTINI ($18) and I ordered their version of a blackberry bramble- UNDER THE STARS ($18), blackberry muddle with hints of lemon and mezcal. We were called to our table shortly and were able to add our aperitifs to the main bill. At our white table-clothed table, we found leather menus that had title page inserts with a customized greeting with "Welcome, [insert last name]'s party" and the date of the dinner below. What a thoughtful touch and a souvenir to bring home as a memento! In fear that this review will be longer than their wine list, let me get to the juicy stuff (by juicy [a spoiler], I am also referring to the pork collar that we ordered and that you also must): We ordered a bottle of red wine, which was perfectly compatible with our meal (could not tell you what it was, my boyfriend is the som in the relationship, lol) Bread basket: Smooth butter with 2 types of bread-- sliced baguette and a seedy ciabatta. The ciabatta was actually just a pillow for my mouth. Great introduction to the dinner. First course: GOUDA CUSTARD ($21): cheesy custard soaked with peach amaro butter was the center piece of this dish and was sandwiched by two servings of an arugula salad with honey ginger dressing and toasted walnuts. A very unique take on gouda and the freshness of the arugula broke down the richness of the cheese. Although not served with bread, the complimentary bread basket was used as the vehicle for the gouda. Second course: SEARED FOIE GRAS ($29): Although I appreciated the gouda as our first course, I would endorse this dish over the former as a unique try. I've had my fair share of foies gras (yes, this is the plural), but I have never had a warm/seared one! This came with house toasted brioche! The richness and fattiness of the duck liver was cut through by the acid (balsamic reduction) and candied figs. Definitely order (if you like foie gras) Third course: BRAISED BEEF CHEEKS ($53): If you could do me any favor, it would be to order this dish. The beef cheeks were so tender I barely had to use my own cheek muscles to chew. The beef cheeks were surrounded by islands of cheddar grits and sautéed mushrooms. I know gluttony is one of the 7 sins... so naturally we ordered 2 desserts. Fear not, we had one at The View and then brought one to bring home. My boyfriend is a sucker for CRÉME BRÛLÉE ($18) so naturally we ordered it as our dine-in option. Cannot complain, was very good with an almond tuile cookie to pair. We took the MAPLE CHEESECAKE ($18) home. Biggest travesty... We put it in an insulated reusable bag with ice; however, by the time we made our way back to NYC, the cheesecake was deformed... We still ate it because, as mentioned, we are sinful, but it would be more sinful if we were to toss it. It was still delicious so I can only imagine what it would have tasted, unadulterated. Uniquely, they had a walnut shortbread crust and the maple syrup was not overwhelming, but thoughtfully permeated in the cheesecake. At the end of the night, to make up for the banned "phone eats first", our server came by with a digital camera and took a picture of us as a memento pairing to the customized menu insert! Will forever cherish this moment even though the aesthetic of my face did not cherish the flash photography. This place has been a regular stop on just about every trip we've made to Lake Placid. Over the years we've have many memorable meals, but I have to say that tonight the tide has changed. There is, without doubt, no place more beautifully ADK than the historic Mirror Lake Inn. The ambiance of the lodge is nothing short of postcard worthy photos. The expectation of service and dinning experience is set right from the time one calls for a reservation and the list of do's and don'ts are recited. Upon arrival, ahead of our reservation we enjoyed a cocktail in the cozy lobby bar. Crafted offerings are masterfully made and exquisitely garnished. The libations are well established and the mixologist equally versed in the art. Expectations were high for the dinning experience, based upon past visits, the nostalgia of the lodge nd menu prices. The reality of things proved otherwise. The food lacked innovation and fell flat. The shrimp were the equivalent of what one could find frozen in their local market.The pasta dish lacked any refere truffle flavor mentioned I the menu description. Then came the entrees. The table ordered a variety offerings including pasta, fish and meat. All were edible but none hit the mark. read more

Went today for dinner and was disappointed. Considering its reservation deposit and restaurant being half empty being ridiculous I thought we would at least enjoy our meal. As a professional chef it is frustrating to see crazy over priced dishes that are either incorrectly cooked or bland. At a reasonable price point I would not have said a word. But when paying 60-70 an entree this pisses me off. I ordered a foiegras app and it was frozen in the center with thick membrane and burnt exterior. I sent it back. My wife ordered the lobster bisque which was just ok. (A bit grainy for my liking.), The caesar salad was served in large leaves that I have to spend time cutting to fit in my mouth. I guess to each his own. The lobster pasta dish for 63 dollars was bland with really really really al dente noodles. 3-4 min more would have made all the difference. Again at 63 dollars this matters. There were nice pieces of lobster in it but the saffron cream sauce was just tasteless. My wife had the sea bass and she ate half and was done. I ordered 2 sazeracs at 18 a piece and they were just ok. The waitress entertained my wife with several wine choices which was nice but she did not know anything about them. When we asked her about food recommendations she said she does not eat meat. Not sure how this place is so highly regarded. We left with a 320+ bill and all I can say is was pissed that in my industry places like this exist. Maybe the people that come to these places are older and lacking tastebuds and think this is good but just had to say something. I rarely leave reviews. This is the only 4-diamond restaurant in Lake Placid, and this restaurant was well worth the visit! Reservations are highly encouraged, especially due to limited seating as a result of COVID-19 restrictions. The proper dress code is business casual, so make sure to pack a few nice clothes! Our friends were not aware of the dress code and were told to change their outfits, so they had to go back to their room to dress appropriately. We were celebrating my birthday, and the restaurant personalized the menu for me - what a sweet touch! The French Onion Soup was incredibly flavorful and hearty! The Local Pork Pate was pretty decent, but I would've rather had another French Onion Soup instead. The prime beef filet mignon was very tender and juicy, though my only complaint is that I asked for medium rare but was served a medium steak. The Free Range Chicken was cooked well and thankfully not too dry. The pumpkin ice cream dessert was the perfect way for a pumpkin-lover like me to end a meal. We had visited this establishment 3 years prior and had a lovely experience. The service was terrific. The location was lovely. We dined here the week between Christmas and New Years, so I'm unclear if pricing was holiday specific, but we found the menu prices to be egregious this time around. Where the food was good, it in no way lived up to the pricing. $79 for a steak for one, $49 Venison Bolognese, $56 chicken, $53 beef cheeks. The food came out cool and noticeably under seasoned. A little salt and pepper helped, but at these prices I expect the food to be on point. The foie gras appetizer at $29 was delicious, the right temp, if not slightly clunky. The figs seemed wrong sized for the delicate nature of the dish and the pecans seemed like a decorative after thought. The $18-$25 kids menu (chicken tenders, Mac and cheese, pizza) seemed to be just another annoyance in a seas of annoyances. The dessert, a salted caramel mousse, which seemed to be just another perp in a dated lineup, was nothing spectacular and at $18 an overpriced non-descriptive sweet. They required a $50 per person reservation fee. If we canceled within 24 hours, we'd be charged, no exceptions. I get this as a business needs to protect their income. But the delivery failed to warrant this "guarantee ". I would have given 2.5 stars if a half star was an option. read more

This was my first time visiting Lake Placid. I'm not sure why I've never gone since it's an easy day trip. We decided to start our day with breakfast here. I love eating at this type of place- beautiful view, unique property. We got a terrific window-side table. We ordered the breakfast buffet since it wasn't that much of a higher price than the 2 egg breakfast. Included were: scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, breakfast meats, smoked salmon with topping, cheeses, oatmeal, fruit, and pastries plus mini boxes of cereal, yogurt, and juice/tea/coffee. The food was average- probably a 3/5. The potatoes were incredibly burnt to the point of being inedible. Someone brought out another pan which weren't much better. The sausage and bacon could have been a bit more cooked and crispy. I liked the smoked salmon. Service was excellent and the experience was very relaxing (especially considering it was a buffet). We liked that the hot sauce and jam were in individual sizes. If it weren't for the ambiance and the view, I'm not sure I'd go back for the food alone. But for a convenient and scenic spot where you can eat enough for a busy day at an affordable price, I plan to have breakfast here next time I visit. read more

We came here tonight for dinner and they accommodated our last minute reservation. The food was excellent and so was the service. We had the pork patê, bucatini, sautéed shrimp and Chilean sea bass. I didn't eat the patê because I'm not a fan, but my partner really liked it. I really enjoyed the sautéed shrimp, but be warned it is spicy! I like spicy food, so it was great for me. I also had the Ausable Spritz, which was very tasty. We got engaged today, and the restaurant printed out a special menu for us, which I thought was a very nice touch. We just celebrated my boyfriend's birthday at 'The View' and feel the need to write a brief review of our experience. So much of how one perceives any establishment that operates in the hospitality industry, is determined by the quality of its staff. To that end, the experience was exemplary, with everyone we interacted with showing outstanding professionalism and a sincere gratitude for one's patronage. Rare in this day and age! The location of the restaurant within the elegant 'Mirror Lake Inn' sets it apart from every other dining establishment in Lake Placid, with tranquil views of the lake, and gardens in the foreground. If we had any critique it would be the subtle lack of culinary execution when it came to our meals. For a restaurant that has been awarded a Michelin star, we were somewhat surprised at the attention to the preparation of our meals. Certain vegetables were clearly undercooked and my boyfriend was just personally, slightly underwhelmed by the creativity of the menu. Overall an excellent experience, but unfortunately I'd say it was more because of the wonderful staff, and the majestic location of 'The View'. read more

When I telephoned the reservation I was asked if I was celebrating a special night. It was my husbands birthday so I shared that. Thought that was actually nice to ask. From the moment my husband and I walked in the door we felt welcomed and knew a special night lay ahead. The host asked my husband his birthday has been. We smiled. Then we are seated with a beautiful view and the top of the menu had been customized to refer to the celebration of my husbands birthday. Nice! We went by many recommendations (thank you Yelp!) and ordered the crab cake and seafood salad for starters. I also can't not mention the bread. Wow. Everything so very fresh, nice portions and seasoned beautifully. For entrees we had the Filet Mignon and Salmon. Highly recommend. Then... we managed to squeeze in a shared dessert. Wow. Just wow. Both my boyfriend and I are foodies and we appreciate GOOD FOOD. Last time we were in placid we wanted to try this place but when I called to make a reservation they said you have to call weeks in advance. We stayed in placid during the week this time around and we were able to book a 730pm reservation for dinner on a Thursday night (I called around 6pm!!). Valet parking when we arrived for $30, and there were only two or three other parties in the dining room. This is definitely a culinary experience. Again, wow. DELICIOUS FOOD AND IMPECCABLE SERVICE. There are three courses and every course is a work of art. They start you off with three types of bread, delicious butter and sea salt. I loved the French baguette. Here's a short run down of our courses. First course- I got seafood salad, boyfriend got the crab cake. Both amazing. One of the best, possibly THE BEST crab cake I've ever had. Very generous portion as well. The seafood salad was delicious and fresh. Came with calamari, shrimp, octopus, and others. Second course- I got the celeriac & apple bisque soup, honestly unbelievable flavors. Delicious down to the last drop. I loved the slight sweet taste. Boyfriend got the black truffle risotto. I'm not a huge fan of risotto but this was tasty. Third course (entree)- ugh. SO SO GOOD. I got the Atlantic cod. Melt in your mouth fish and flavors. The cream was so delicious andd the potatoes (and I'm not a huge potato eater) - DELISH. He got the prime beef filet. Absolutely mouthwatering. We got sangria for drinks, very very delicious and not too sweet. For dessert I got this peanut butter shortbread with banana icecream. To be completely honest I wasn't a huge fan of this. This place baffled me every night I was there. There was no one sitting in it but they said they are fully booked. We were staying at the hotel too and it was unusual. The breakfast is easier to get in and I would stick with that since the view of the lake is beautiful in the morning. The food here isn't good so come for the ambiance, convience, and view. The breakfast was your typical hotel continental breakfast. You can order eggs from the server if you want a different preparation. For dinner, it is expensive for the portions. My advice is come for the view and ambiance. Service is also pretty good. There are plenty of better options in town for dinner. read more

The menu accommodates all palates and our waitress was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is inviting and worth getting dressed for an evening in Lake Placid! I've been having a number of strange dining experiences lately. Perhaps it is because I am myself strange and thus attract such a thing. In deciding to go to the View, I didn't need to look at reviews beforehand. My family has been coming to Lake Placid for over two decades at this point and we've probably stayed at Mirror Lake Inn a dozen or so times--yet for whatever reason, we were never intent on exploration what had been under our noses for so long. But we knew it was the only true "fine dining" experience in Lake Placid, so we figured 2018 would be the year. After making the reservation, the curiosity bug hit me and I decided to skim the reviews. A tale of two restaurants, my goodness! This should be interesting, I thought. And it was. Despite a waitress who had clearly taken a bath in pure grade, full-spectrum Attitude, our overall experience here was positive. Delicious food, well placed service and by the far the best wine selection you'll find in Lake Placid. It will cost you a pretty penny, but it's an upscale restaurant in a destination town, so it's not surprising. We made a reservation here for 8pm on a Tuesday night. This is the type of venue that requires a credit card upon booking, so don't be that person who cancels last minute. The dining space here is much more expansive than I expected. Not that my expectations were based on anything substantial, but I was impressed with the space. Sitting down, we met our waitress. A curious lady, and the one unsettling aspect of our dining experience here. She started off okay, but when presented with a challenge of portion knowledge and unconventional dining preferences, she did not address it with grace. The bf and I wanted to share a few different-sized plates, and we asked if the quantity of food would be too much. She seemed unsure, vacillating a bit, and eventually said we'd be fine, though did not seem at all convinced. I asked her if she was sure it wasn't too much, if she thought perhaps we needed to change anything and she responded curtly: "I just said it wasn't,", then darted away out of sight. Not long after the fact, she returned with some bad news: they were out of one of the appetizers we ordered. We then decided we'd try the fish of the day, which she proceeded to fight be on for five minutes, continuing to assert that we were going to be subbing and entree for an appetizer, a fact that we were well aware of. It appeared to break her brain that we were suggesting what we were suggesting. The rest of the evening was thankfully went more smoothly, but it was indeed strange. There was a bit of redemption at least, as we had a lovely experience with the View's sommelier. Charming and knowledgable, he came over to shower us with lovely, pretentious facts about our wine. Three of us ordered the rosé flight (a fantastic deal, by the way), which consists of three distinct and very yummy wines. Two that felt pretty familiar, one that was incredibly unique--the closest a pink wine could possibly get to a red. Went beautifully with our mains. An intelligent grouping paired with pleasant interaction. As I mentioned, the food here is not cheap. But again, remember the View is rated by This Magazine and That Prestigious Regional List and That Wine Publication so you're paying for that as well. Even so, the food is great. See below: House-smoked Trout, sea​ salt cured and apple wood smoked w/ petite greens and herbs, Dijon vinaigrette, pickled onions, horseradish-dill crème fraiche, trout caviar: A+ Great choice for a starter. Flavorful and nearly decadent, pairing this with the creme fraiche was just delightful. A well-thought out, well-executed dish. Field Greens and Vegetables w/ tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled onions, fresh lemon and Saratoga olive oil, candied pine nuts, creamy local Asgaard feta dressing: B+ Pass. We wanted some greens so opted for the menu's lone veggie dish, but it was underwhelming. Perfectly fine for a dinner salad, but it won't wow you. Braised Lamb Cheeks w/ red Verjus, garlic and rosemary, saffron scented couscous, spinach and mint purée, petite turnips and baby summer squash, grilled green onion, mâche, braised jus lié: A+ Our lovely waitress felt the need to show us--on her face, in case we were confused about what type of cheeks the menu referred to--where the lamb meat would be coming from. I'm perfectly alright eating meat, but I don't want to think of a little lamb and its little, underdeveloped lamb cheeks as I'm eating. We did, however, forget quickly, because this dish was straight fire. Unbelievably juicy and tender, melt-in-your-mouth good. All accompaniments were tasty as well and I loved the use of the spinach puree. Market Fish (Striped Bass) w/ beets, braised leeks, jasmine rice: A Straightforward but not boring. Cooked well, super fresh. I love beets all year round but these were particularly good. Didn't overpower the fish, just added some more variety to the flavor profile. read more

Breakfast review. Before COVID a 5+. Because of the incredible buffet. Last year still a five even without the buffet. This year the menus is as limited as the local coffee shop but at 1.5x what the buffet cost 2 years ago. Sad. This was the best breakfast a few years ago. In a region not especially filled with top-notch dining, the dining room at the Mirror Lake Inn -- aka The View -- stands out. It is excellent - my favorite restaurant in Lake Placid. Food is consistently very good to excellent - they totally know what they're doing in the kitchen. The menu always has lots of great choices. Wait staff is solicitous, friendly, and professional. The atmosphere of the dining is gracious, perhaps falling just shy of elegant (no doubt in deference to the overall casual nature of the Adirondacks), and blessedly quiet. Wine list is excellent. The View IS pricey -- no getting around that. But we have eaten here many times, and we have enjoyed every meal unreservedly. We will, without doubt, be eating here in the future. Highly recommended. If you are looking for a top-notch, fine dining experience, then The View should be your first choice. Everything about The Mirror Lake Inn is five-star (spoken by someone who worked for five-star hotels and resorts) and this restaurant is no stepchild to the exceptional accommodations. For being a four diamond restaurant, I was underwhelmed. The wines by the glass selection was disappointing. I wound up getting a dry Riesling from the Finger Lakes that was pretty good, but the Chardonnay option--no bueno. For my starter, I had the salad--mixed greens with some shaved fennel and beets. I didn't want the creamy dressing that came with it so they simply gave me some vinegar and oil. I didn't really like the mixed greens themselves--too many bitter ones in the mix--and with the vinegar and oil it tasted like something I would have made at home. There wasn't much fennel, which was also disappointing. For my entree I had the chicken, which was quite good. It came on a bed of vegetables--also very good. For dessert I had the flourless chocolate cake. I'm a huge flourless chocolate cake fan, but this one was disappointing and I only ate half. At the end they brought out some housemade chocolates and nuts, and those were very good. I definitely could have forgone the dessert and just had that. The ambiance is nice, and the view is lovely, of course. And the service was very nice and pleasant. read more

For the price this is a three and a half star restaurant. It has pretensions of being elegant that were not carried off well in practice. We were guests at the hotel and made reservations when we checked in, they were available at 5:30 and 8. Took the 8 and got their at least ten minutes early, restaurant was half empty. It still took 15 minutes to get a drink order. Started with the crab cakes which were the high point of the meal and we would recommend. I had the market fish, cod, which was beautifully plated but soggy. My wife could not remember what she had a week later. Wait staff was pleasant and helpful but young and not very well trained. Wine glasses went empty for prolonged periods. Bread and butter was not brought when plates were empty. Candle on table was unprotected and we needed to keep moving it to prevent dripping. read more

The View is a fantastic restaurant to go to for both a sit down dinner and for a breakfast to go! We got here for our stay at The Mirror Lake Inn, last night, and tried The View for dinner, I got the Pot Roast dinner and the Hibiscus Martini. The Hibiscus Martini was a refreshing cocktail, and the Pot Roast was AMAZING! The meat was tender, and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. I also loved the sauce! Delicious! Even the bread in the bread basket was awesome! My friend got the Free Range Chicken, which she thought was also incredible! For dessert, I got the Apple Cobbler with Ginger Ice Cream, which was ridiculously delicious! We came back for breakfast, today. We both got the breakfast sandwich, which was also delicious! Wonderful anniversary dinner! Even with COVID restrictions, the staff made this a truly special evening. From the staff that booked our reservation (which I highly recommend obtaining), to the hostess, and waitstaff everyone was friendly, inviting, and provided great service. Came here for an anniversary dinner while staying in the hotel. In short, I don't think it's worth it and I'm not sure why it's so highly rated. Spent over $200 on dinner and left feeling quite underwhelmed. Dissappointing given how much we were looking forward to the dinner. Appetizers and main course were quite bland and lacking in any flavor. Sadly our Dessert was also not that exciting - the flourless chocolate cake was pretty average. Setting is lovely. Service was good. Staff was friendly and courteous. Presentation fantastic. Ingredients seem fresh. Sad that the food itself is not keeping up with the rest. That for me is the most important factor of them all... For this reason, I don't think we will be coming back. read more

The view was an unbelievable eating experience from top to bottom. Each dish melted in my mouth and the chef even brought out complementary pallet cleansers in between every course. The staff was perfectly attentive and very polite. A dish that really stood out were the scallops appetizer which was possibly the best scallop I've ever had. Waiter lost our order for 6, drink order took forever, lots of minor details forgotten which really kills the whole idea of a wonderful dining experience.
