a table set for a wedding reception

I had my rehearsal dinner for my wedding here and I have to say that it was an amazing and very beautiful experience. The guest kept telling me how they loved the ambiance and how great the food was. I highly recommend having a meal at The Village Chalet or even your event. The staff was very attentive throughout our time there. We couldn't ask for anything more!

Wow! I can begin to express myself by saying how exquisite this place is from the moment we walked in to the end. At the entrance we were greeted by the amazing Host: Monique, who has made our anniversary perfect! Waiter: Thank you Alex, for your amazing service & time for explaining to us the Menu and providing us an incredible experience Chef: Valentine, the food choices are all delicious, cooked to perfection. Frances Owner: it was a pleasure to meet & enjoy a night with you and your staff. She was helping servers as well greeting every guest. Frances, the atmosphere that you have created at The Village Chalet, is a true meaning of a 5+ stars restaurant. We loved it! The place is huge from the 18 hundred's old fashion, beautiful and you can also walk around with your drinks I strongly strongly recommend this restaurant!

Salmon with asparagus and spinach! Delicious!

Nice little spot to enjoy a drink or a meal outdoors. The food is average but the charm of the place adds to the experience. We enjoyed a couple of glasses of Malbec and shared a fish sandwich. The portion was quite generous and the fish was fresh and crispy. We also enjoyed the bean soup with a side of rice. The staff is very friendly. I hear at night they have live music.. We had a very nice time.

We had a wonderful time at my sister's baby shower. The service was amazing...helpful and accommodating service, food was delicious and the portions were abundant. Thank you Monique for your assistance and patience with our Baby ShowerZILLA.

We sat under a canopy of trees in a huge and beautiful garden! The atmosphere was so sweet and entertaining. We enjoyed live jazz and live versions of classic bobby darin, sinatra, Bennett, and tom jones. It was pretty cool. The philly sandwich, and chicken marsala were perfect. The service is nice and fast.

First time here, our waitress Aida was the best, very attemptive and caring, fast service, food was good but a little bit overpriced. We had the Chef salad, Chicken parmesan with fettucine Alfredo and Chicken Marsala with fries and rice. Everything was delicious, the place is very nice because of the location at Cauley Square Historic Village.

This place was an adorable lil hide away enchanted forest. Lived in this area almost 27 years and never knew this place existed. Felt a lil like cozy place in Coral Gables. The restaurant does look a little old but the food was yummy. Our waitress, Michelle was awesome. The music that Freddy Perez played was a nice touch for the evening.. The restaurant is small so I suggest you make reservations if you want to be seated inside. They accomodate you with outside seating. . Also you will smell like the food when you leave.. I guess the exhaust ventilation is not up to par in the kitchen area it's an open kitchen to the dining areas.. I liked the place alot. It's different and simply sweet.. would definitely go back..

You can tell they take pride in what they serve. The atmosphere was laid-back and comfortable, with a nice vibe that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. What really made the visit stand out was the service. Our server, Andre, was excellent--super friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. He checked in at the right times and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. It's always nice when someone clearly cares about making sure you have a good experience. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and recommend to others.

There is some parking by the front but very little and often you will have to park and walk but you can easily drop people off at the front while you are looking for a place to park. We came when it was slow so we were able to sit ourselves and we had service right away. Barbie was our waitress and she was nothing less than amazing. We ordered mostly appetizers and some meals. We had their fish dip, conch fritters and dolphin sandwiches which were all very good. The noise level was moderate. We were able to easily have conversations. We never felt rushed to leave so we were able to enjoy our afternoon with friends with a great atmosphere and food. We would definitely be back.

Love this place!! Came today with 2 friends and hubby. We ordered two eggs benedicts with salmon,…read morea BEC and a blueberry lemon cornbread. My best friend and I shared the B.E.C. It was enough. My husband said his eggs were undercooked because even the whites were falling apart. Apart from that we all enjoyed our food and the guys said the coffee was good. The ambiance was nice and the food was good, but I expected more based on the hype and the photos. The service was a solid 5. The hostess, from Venezuela (not that this matters but in case they want to know who it is to give credit to) was great! She gave a warm welcome and was professional, energetic and kind. Eric, walked us over to our table and Victor, was our server. The staff was attentive to our needs and made the experience one that will result in me returning. The bathrooms were clean so that's a bonus! The food was where I thought it could've been better. The biscuit and gravy was better than I anticipated but also smaller too. The eggs were supposed to be scrambled soft, but they came out hard. They replaced them quickly to another format and they were much better. The potatoes could've been cooked more. The waffle was meh. It was floppy and there was no crunch at all. It tasted good, but definitely needed to be closer to advertised and bigger for $12. The watermelon and lime juice is supposed to be fresh, but it came with a sugar rim and it had added sugar (which defeats what's advertised). There should be no sugar rim or at least that should've been mentioned. The pancake was good and so was the omelette for my guests. We would go back but hoping to seeing improvements made. Definitely a spot for everyone and the staff and their morale helps make it what it is. Check them out and enjoy!

My friend and I stopped here while on vacation in Miami. He had never been to First Watch before,…read moreso I felt it was my responsibility to introduce him properly. When we arrived, the place was packed. We added our names to the waitlist and ended up waiting a little over 30 minutes. Thankfully, the process was easy and they texted us when our table was ready. There was also plenty of parking available in the large shopping center lot. Once seated, we were taken to a table in the back near the windows, which was a nice touch. The restaurant felt very spacious. I never felt crowded or like I was sitting on top of other guests. The dining room was bright, clean, and had the welcoming atmosphere that First Watch is known for. The service was excellent from start to finish. Unfortunately, I did not catch anyone's name, but every employee we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and professional. For breakfast, I ordered The Traditional with scrambled eggs and cheese, smoked ham, whole grain artisan toast, and I substituted the seasoned potatoes for cheesy grits. I also ordered an orange juice. Everything was good. The eggs were cooked well, the grits were creamy, and the orange juice was fresh and refreshing. My only small complaint is that I could have used another piece of smoked ham or a slightly larger portion. My friend ordered the Tri Fecta with an extra egg and bacon, along with the Morning Meditation juice, which combines orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar, and beet. He enjoyed everything and had no complaints. Overall, that pretty much sums up the meal. Nothing was bad and everything was prepared well. At the same time, neither of us walked away completely blown away. It was simply a solid breakfast experience with good food, excellent service, and reasonable prices. I would absolutely come back to this location and to First Watch in general. It is a dependable brunch spot that consistently delivers a good experience.

He is courteous, attentive, and handles situations professionally. Employees like Phil make a positive difference in the customer experience. Even has offered compensation for their mistakes. Mistakes happen and no one is perfect, but at least he takes the time to correct Correct them and make his customers leave with a great experience
