The nasty soggy pork skin that's inedible

Ordered food late at night this place is 24/7 if you don't want to make the food why not decline the order but to send me a lechón sandwich with soft soggy nasty pork skin and shove thick nasty tuff pieces is disgusting as hell if you can't serve food late close early but don't have it open and available to then play with people food the one bite tasted rancid so I opened the sandwich and almost threw up how disgusting you have to be to do this to people

I came here because I was craving to eat a pan con bistec. It is pretty big. Delicious declined on the onions due to heartburn. But even without the onions is Delicious. Service was fast. I was a bit annoyed because the lady with the black hair was not nice. But other than that i came for the food. The place is empty because is Tuesday at 5 in the afternoon.

I am no connoisseur of Cuban cafe, but we found ourselves in the neighborhood needing a cafe to while away some time before meeting somebody. Yelp turned out surprisingly few options and I've tried Pinecrest Bakery's other locations before, so here we came. I was surprised how large this place is. The parking lot is quite large and decorated with planters and a giant cock statue. it's adjacent to a restuarant. We ordered some pastelitos and coffee. I find them delicious enough, may not be the best in my life but nothing to complain about. The place is bright and the tables are clean. $2.50 for a cafecito is more than I expected... didn't it use to be 99 cents, like, not too many years ago? But that's what inflation is now, sadly.

Bon Appetit!

Good food good service and nice quiet breakfast. The outside is easily the nicest decorated Pinecrest Bakery I've ever been to, crazy to see how fast this place has expanded. The quality of the pastries was consistent and the coffee was strong per order. I liked that they had a system in place to get orders taken fast; you can tell they're used to high volume and they operate that way even when there's only a few folks. Theres an outdoor seated area, inside there are nice tables and stools if you want to enjoy your purchase in-store.

Chicken sandwich is always good here. It comes out hot and fresh and it is very filling. Sometimes they don't have all the ingredients available but it still tastes good. The service is good as well, the ladies are always friendly. They have a lot of food and desserts to choose from here and different drinks available too.

Had a quick bite (empanadas)and a Cafecito on Sunday morning. Love when you enter. You are immediately greeted with a smile! The dining area is very spacious, and there's even outdoor seating! It's very busy, so make sure you're early and don't forget to get a number as soon as you walk inside!

This review is only regarding Guayaba Restaurant only... The restaurant is honestly so chic and the waitresses are all very nice. We came here on a Wednesday afternoon and it was almost empty, so the entire wait staff was very attentive. We ordered and within 15 minutes all the plates came out fresh and with huge portions! Everything was delicious, and we had to take food home because there was so much left over. I highly recommend the restaurant (I've previously had negative experiences with the bakery through Uber eats) but the restaurant has never given me issues.

This location is in cutler Bay, I got coffee, Cuban bread, breakfast with eggs bacon and papa frita, croquettes, tequiones , and beef empanada. The food here is sub far, walking in the restaurant and inside the restaurant makes you feel like your in Hialeah, it has a Latin vibe, but the food seem American, I didn't know papa frito were the same fries from checkers, the coffee I could of passed on but everything else was doable, but not impressive.

I have never had a pastelito before, and I'm glad I waited until trying the Guava and Cheese one at Pinecrest Bakery. This location of Pinecrest Bakery is located in an inviting plaza. As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed with a big smile from the register and an endless assortment of treats on display. The pastelito had a flakey crust and the inside guava and cheese perfectly complimented each other. I can't wait to go back and try more from Pinecrest Bakery - I heard that they breakfast menu is really good!

The food was ok. The temperature of the restaurant was warm, and there were a lot of flies inside of the business.

We came in the evening and immediately, as we walked up, there was music, people laughing, talking, smiling... the energy was incredible. I also loved that there was a bar off to the side while waiting. We ordered a few mojitos and sat outside at the tables and benches, just enjoying the atmosphere. When our name was finally called and we walked inside, I genuinely felt like I was stepping into history. The atmosphere here is unmatched. The music, the aromas, the people. God, I loved it here and I hadn't even tried the food yet. We ordered the braised oxtail (which came with plantains and rice), salmon glazed in guava BBQ sauce, ceviche tropical, assorted empanadas, and a Cuban sandwich. Everything was phenomenal. The sauce paired with the empanadas perfectly. The guava BBQ glaze on the salmon was absolute perfection. It was the perfect combo of sweet, smoky, and flavorful. The ceviche had the perfect acidity and tasted so fresh and refreshing. This is one of the most famous Cuban restaurants in Miami. It completely lives up to the reputation. Highly recommended

DIRT AND MUD IN THE SALAD!!! WATCH OUT…read more We ordered the salad with mango and pecans. They do not wash there lettuce. There was literally dirt/mud at the bottom and I took my first bite and it felt like biting into sand. Upon spitting the food out onto my plate it was black sludge. Literally my tongue and teeth were black. The waiter came by and grabbed the plate when I was in the bathroom. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get that BLACK SLUDGE out of my mouth. When I was spitting out the dirt/mud wife noticed the bus boys laughing at me and there was not a manger in sight. When I asked for a manager he did not even respond. No apology or anything just a look of confusion. Worst experience in a restaurant in my life and I love to eat and have been to many types of restaurant big and small. Cheap and expensive and this one takes the cake. We were so bummed as I see thousands of great reviews. But if there was a zero I would have given zero stars the way they handled the situation. If you eat there in the future make sure to check for DIRT/MUD.

We started with the goat cheese croquettes, which were delicious! The marmalade went well, and the pickles onions and jalapeños cut the richness and were a nice complement. Regardless when we arrived they sat us outside which is exactly what we were hoping for. Our server was nice at first. Explained all the popular dishes got our drinks out very quickly. I think she stole our table from someone else because shortly after someone came and we told them we put our order in and he seemed a little bothered. Unfortunately, our other server disappeared and never checked up on us. We pretty much didn't have any napkins during our entire duration of our meal. At least that part was good. We started off with a couple of mojitos and their Vaca Frita Tostones. You get these homemade maduro tostones topped off with shreeded beef in a moon sauce, pickled onion, and aji Amarillo aioli. A very delicious dish that didn't last long. Shortly after we received our main dish. I really hate when they do that. My wife ordered their Abuelas Ropa Vieja and I ordered their Masa de Puerco Chino. My wife didn't really care for her dish much. We've had plenty of Ropa Vieja before and would have preferred a congri type of rice as opppsed to just plain white rice. My dish was 10/10. Like in the name of "chino" this is an Asian inspired dish with fried rice, maduros, pineapple confit and crispy pork. A very delicious dish. It could have don't without the little salad on top, but at least it ads color to the dish. The crispy pork tasted so amazing and the fried had so much flavor. Mix in some of the maduros and you get a sweet and savory dish. Would definitely be returning to try this dish again.

We ordered the Cuban sandwich and the Cuban burger, and honestly both were dangerously good. The Cuban sandwich was exactly what you hope for -- crispy bread, perfectly pressed, packed with flavor, and the kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid-bite and just nod at the person across from you like "yep... this was the right decision." The Cuban burger was also fantastic -- juicy, flavorful, and big enough that you start questioning whether you should have skipped breakfast. The area around the restaurant was great too. Nice vibe, good energy, and perfect for walking around before or after eating... which you will probably need to do after finishing that burger. The servers were good -- friendly, attentive, and thankfully didn't judge us for attacking the food like we hadn't eaten in three business days. Overall the place has a fun atmosphere, great Cuban comfort food, and the kind of menu that makes you want to come back just to try the things you didn't order the first time. We stopped here at this one on Espanola Way for dinner on a Sunday, primarily because we had somewhere else in this area to be afterward, and while most every place on this touristy street was packed with a wait list, this restaurant could seat us right away. Service was good all evening from an outgoing waiter, this place was great for people watching (we were seated at a high top on the sidewalk in front), the food was good and the prices were reasonable, especially considering that Espanola Way is one of the most touristy areas on already touristy Miami Beach. I had the signature roasted chicken ($28) and my husband the Cuban churrasco steak ($42) and both included sides. We also had a glass of wine each and again, wine prices were reasonable. While we don't tend to eat in this general area often as it is so touristy which usually equals lackluster food and service at high prices, Havana 1957 was just fine. I'd happily return here.
