Absolutely delicious! What a great 7 course meal! Great service, sat inside by the kitchen and enjoyed every minute of the cooking experience. Beautiful house. We arrived at 6pm and as the evening went on it just got more beautiful.

Just had dinner here last night for our anniversary, left and had to eat dinner again at home. It was very bad. We have been frequenting this establishment for a the past couple years and have always left more than satisfied, now I am sad to say we will not be returning. The first course was a very strange flavor pairing, stuffed cucumber. Second was a pretty good asparagus and leek soup, but the portion here was a quarter of the size of previous soups had during this course. Third course used to be a choice of delicious side dishes, this outing there was 1 option an Arugula goat cheese salad, tasted absolutely terrible, 2 bites in and me and my lady pushed it to the side. The steak was delicious, small wagyu sirloin with Chipotle butter sauce cooked perfectly, not enough to save the outing though. Very unfortunate, this used to be my favorite restaurant, and after this I don't think we will be returning. It is a sad day.

Prix fix menu...advertised as a 7 course meal! This place is very accommodating and has vegetarian options. The seating is comfortable. Service is good and attentive. You can watch the chefs cooking in the homelike kitchen, which is neat! First course: a slice of cucumber with stuff on it. Nice bite size course. Lobster bisque was delicious, even though on the saltier side. Salad was simple, nothing special-lacking finesse. The entree I ordered was Mahi-Mahi. It was delicious and perfectly seasoned and cooked. Everything went so well together. The dessert was very nice too. Chocolate semifreddo was underwhelming but actually once it started melting, I enjoyed the mousse type texture that paired well with the tart raspberry sauce. The carrot cake was incredible...with cheesecake ice cream. We later asked where they buy it and the chef actually makes it himself. Incredible!!! Would love to come back here again. Breakfast included with a stay at cameo was fantastic! They make fresh croissants which were fabulous of course. Everything tasted well cooked and well seasoned.

Either I have been to a different restaurant or those before me have no clue what good food is all about! Of all the tasting menus I have tried, this has to be the most underwhelming of them all! The vine is located at Cameo Heights mansion, where we were staying during our visit to Walla Walla. I made the booking well in advance and prepared myself for a degustation course that would be very pleasing after a day of wine tasting. The food is 6-7 courses (if you count the amuse bouche and the little chocolate strawberries at the end as the bye-bye course). Every single dish was extremely disappointing and many of the dishes were not even what they were supposed to be. Duck confit was for sure not a duck confit. It was semi-burnt, not the soft confit that happens after leaving the duck in the oil at a certain low temperature for a long time. The wait between the appetizer and entree was 45 minutes! 45 minutes to get the next dish! I would rather get up and leave after 45 minut The panna cotta was anything but. It was a layer of caramel and chocolate with a layer of whipped cream! I was literally in awe! The jelly like appearance of a wobbly panna cotta was not AT ALL what I got. I am saddened by my experience and I wish I had better things to say about this place. I had really high hopes on our way to Walla Walla and it seems like it was mostly wishful thinking when it came to the Vine!

absolute perfection in fine dining! 10 out of 10 ! Wynter our waitress was delightful! Heavenly dining experience that cannot be matched !

We stayed at Cameo Heights for two nights but had decided to do dinner the second night. After breakfast the next morning, we realized we may have made a mistake by not eating every meal at Vine. Many of the fresh vegetables and fruits as well as herbs are grown on site. The rest is largely sourced locally. Every seat is the chef's table with an open view and conversation with Nathan or Diane while enjoying sweeping views of the orchards. Every course was a carefully calculated layering of flavor that ensured no bite was wasted. They even threw in a couple surprises. The price shows as $$$$, but honestly you cannot go to a $$ and enjoy an appetizer and dessert for his price let alone 7 courses. Additionally, the wine list is extensive and all the wines were priced at the same prices as you would pay in the tasting rooms around the region which meant they were maybe half the price you would pay at any other fine restaurant. In my opinion, this is one of the top overall restaurants in nation, hidden right inside the top bed and breakfast in the nation.

A piece of Heaven you say? Where? Can I Touch- it? Yes, in Touchet, WA. Eastern Washington's gourmet connection in between the Tri-cities and Walla Walla. Get away from the corporate eatery doldrums for a romantic rendezvous or culinary quest. Chef Nathan crafts challenging cuisine with aplomb from mostly locally sourced ingredients. Excellent prix fix menu and local wine pairing. When's the last time you had a meal that sings?!?!? Live a little!!! - reach out Touchet!!!

Spent our 4th year Anniversary Dinner here. It was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. The lobster Mac & Cheese.. Rib Eye.. Salted Caramel Bread Pudding was seriously incredible. Loved it all!! Thank you & Compliments to the chef, Nathan!

The food was awful!…read more We came in from Moses Lake for the day, wanted to have a good dinner before heading back so we checked reviews of local steak places. Super thrilled for a good steak, we chose the Depot. Only to be utterly disappointed. :( If you are watching your sodium intake DO NOT order the grilled brussel sprouts, or French onion soup! This restaurant has a quaint passenger car outside for a nice touch but not open for service today. The interior of the restaurant was nice brick with good ambience. The servers looked the part but the hostess took 20min to seat us while she scarfed down some food within eye shot of us while we stood waiting. It was cringe to see line cooks and chefs with their loose hair flapping everywhere! I was wondering how the college looking kid could even see what he was cooking with his straggly grungy curly hair all over his face and over his eyes. He was cooking the carrots. We were sat at the bar, service was fast, so I will give them that. We were a bit confused as to who exactly our sever was as there were three but didn't technically introduce themselves. We ordered crab cakes, grilled brussel sprouts, French onion soup, and shared the 18 oz. rib eye with two sides, mashed potatoes and grilled carrots. The rib eye was the thinnest cut we have ever seen. The soup was extremely salty, so I only took a few bites. The brussel sprouts were charred black and no longer green. The burnt taste was disgusting. The mustard they paired them with did not do it any favors. There are 3 crab cakes to an order, alone the cakes were edible but they laid them over a smear of some nasty flavorless oily mayo sauce. They paired them with thinly julienned apples which were yummy for the few strands that did not touch the mayo spread. We got mashed potatoes which were bland, hubby did not eat his and I only took a couple bites of mine. We love grilled carrots especially when cooked in small cast iron dish but these carrots were paired with some funky cream sauce that looked like sour cream but cannot describe what it was. Carrots would've been nice if they didn't over power with rosemary or thyme. They failed to mention the huge service charge that they added to our ticket which was $32 onto our $212.00 tab. Our server even asked if we were interested in leaving an additional tip for the server that poured our water. Nope! We won't be back anytime soon. Hope it's a better experience for others.

Food quality was at par with my expectation and truly enjoyed the full dining experience. If there was one thing that separates this place from other similar places is that it's not as hectic and busy so we actually had more variety of meat cuts more frequently. Our chef Kali was amazing along with her staff and gave us extra attention you'd never get from a large chain place.

We usually order the full meal and try different meats during our meal. I really enjoy the grilled pineapple that is served during the protein service. Some cuts of meat are superior to others and some have seasoning that I enjoy and others - not so much. But that is what is great about this restaurant, you can just say no to the meats that you don't want or cannot eat and get a double serving of what you do like. The beef rib (I believe it is a boneless short rib) is divine. The service is spectacular. The two servers who were working our table, Omar and Callie, were very friendly and informative. They both ensured that we had a nice experience for my birthday. I also heard occasional laughter from the kitchen which was nice. Happy people who are enjoying themselves makes for the best teamwork. We'll continue to go back when we want a treat.

We had to keep telling people the same things over and over. Things like "someone already said they were getting that for us" not that we needed to keep asking for things! Important difference.) The manger, I think, kept saying he would get things then ended up over committing to tasks and someone else would end up doing it. This isn't a complaint just something I'd suggest having a discussion with with staff and change- lots of business do this because they want to be attentive but it comes off sloppy and messy and just ends up interrupting the meal more than anything. Everyone was doing this with the best intention though. Only love and advice here! The drinks were very good. Loved seeing all the holiday themed stuff everywhere VERY VERY cute!!!! we loved the heart napkins and the whole vibe was 10/10. I thought my food was bland, everyone else loved theirs, so I won't dock starts for that. Excited to visit this place again next time we are in town. Edit: docked it a star over the owner passive aggressive immediate reply. Comes off like "shut up I'm right you're wrong." I've been in the industry over 20 years and have seen many place fail, flail, and have great success. The successful ones never have a manager or owner that is passive aggressive over a pretty nice review. I hope you learn to take criticism and your business thrives though! (If you were so busy you wouldn't have, or at minimum KNOW you wouldn't have, time talk to every one. I never once saw you "delegate" a task to someone else. I saw you repeatedly say you'd do a task then someone on staff notice it wasn't done the do it for you. You told the boss you'd seat us then wandered off to do whatever behind the bar and she sat us- her job you didn't need to butt into btw. You did say you'd get cheese and did it yourself. You came by a bunch to make sure our table, and every table we could see, was happy but it seemed more for ego than anything because you kept repeating how but YOU are from the second we walked in until we left. You said you'd get my father in law another drink then it simply never came but whatever we just left without another high priced cocktail on our bill, your loss. Trust your staff, take accountability, much love.) Edit again: the owner refuses to stop lying and saying he's "defending himself" more to that over on the google reviews. Staff is great, food is below mid, owner is beyond help. Edit again: just noticed he EDITED HIS REPLY TO ME to try to change the story that he wasn't as rude as before! So I added a screen shot. Talk about "MESSY." Do NOT support this clearly narcissistic owner! Lying, manipulating, gaslighting, and all over what was originally a four star review!!! Wow!!! Edit again: was browsing other reviews and the owner is flat out lying on other reviews too!!
