Wanted something in town to have a good steak without having to go to Hanford or Fresno. The vineyard delivered! They were out of the soup when we went which was disappointing, but only makes me want to go back! The food was so delicious! And my steak perfect medium-rare! Last couple of times I went there, the crowd was moderate, i seen many empty tables, but was told there would be an hr wait because the cooks are busy, and getting a drink refilled was like pulling teeth. Convenient to two nearby hotels. The fare was fair. Standard American diner food with suitable, not stingy or giant, portions and solid pricing considering its got a semi-monopoly on convenience to the hotels. The service was above average, our waitress was personable and to business. The other staff were mixed, but that's only because they knew the other patrons and so were more casual/comfortable with them. Had a jalapeno cheeseburger with garlic french fries. I went because I had their honey butter pancakes a few weeks prior and they were so delicious and I was adamant to take a friend to try them. Unfortunately, I have no plans of enjoying them there again because the service was awful. We had to watch 3 other parties be seated before us that came after us and we had to ask to be seated again because no one ever approached us to welcome us or communicate anything about being seated. We stayed in spite of and had to stare down our waitress to tend to us the whole time. For napkins , for everything! And there was only a handful of parties there that were not big and there was more than one waitress. They were so friendly and attentive to all of the other guests but for some reason, they were zapped of all hospitality when coming to our table. And to top it off, they gave us our check at the same time as when our food came out and would only come by to see if we were ready to pay. That was not the story with the other neighboring tables. Went here for dinner a few days ago... We had great service, and this is why I give it a 2, let me tell you why... Our waitress came to the table to take our orders, I asked her about the different sides they offer and she rambled them off without a hitch... I then was going to ask her what KIND of potatoes the use for their mashed potatoes and before I could get it out, she made a sour face and said, "They're instant". INSTANT? At a restaurant? REALLY? I applaud our waitress for telling me this, for I definitely do NOT want instant mashed potatoes, ever, let alone at a restaurant! With That being said, I ordered the 4oz steak/shrimp dinner deal and it came with green beans and I got the pasta salad for my side choice. The husband ordered a reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries. We both enjoyed our dinners very much, the rueben was good, my steak was a little over cooked, but hey, how can you not over cook a 4 oz steak lol, you barely put it on the grill and it's over cooked! Overall, it was good, but we probably won't go there again anytime soon... And please, stop serving people instant potatoes. read more

Food: Coconut shrimp app was ok. The shrimp was overcooked but it came with a good sweet sauce. The sauce was served cold which you should not do (paired with a hot dish.) Had the Prime Rib with Green Beans and Mash. The rib had good flavor, the mash was very good, the green beans where nicely seasoned. The sauces with the prime rib lack a wow flavor. My fiancé had the shrimp scampi. The shrimp was overcooked and could have used more seasoning. This dish does not include pasta. Decor: doesn't do the food justice. The name/decor/dishes are out of line with the food. Its like eating at a restaurant just above Denny's and below Sizzlers. If the revamped the "booths" remove the nostalgic decor and added dim lighting this place could be the "date night" spot which is very much needed in Lemoore. Wait staff: Nicely dressed, again giving the place an upscale feel. They know their stuff and are on their game. 2nd Visit: Breakfast Deluxe Waffle Breakfast is fantastic! The waffle is soft in the inside and crispy on the out. The eggs seasoned perfectly and the sausage was thick and didn't contain visible fatty particles. My fiancé had biscuits and gravy that was something to be seen. Take a homemade biscuit and insert "Breakfast" and top off with another biscuit and smother in gravy. One of my friends who lives in the area likes coming here for breakfast. For some reason everytime I come with her, our food is always slow to come out. I see other tables who are seated and order after us receive food before my friend and I. Weird. The food itself is decent. Nothing spectacular, but decent. The last time I was here, I had the veggie eggs benedict. The veggie benedict is a new item on the menu, and definitely a welcome addition. The avocado, egg, and tomato is a nice change from other items on the menu that contain mostly meat. I'm not a vegetarian, but I like it when classic breakfast entrees are changed up a bit. read more

Ordered the avocado turkey sandwich with fries ( you have the option of fries, salad n soup) and it was very good. The bead is soft and fluffy with a dried rosemary herb on top of it. Today I took my Parents out for Mother's Day breakfast. They were serving a buffet or you can order from the menu. We immediately were told by a server who looked like She Phillipino, short black hair with large black rimmed glasses. She immediately stated that we should eat from the buffet. After waiting for our orders for 45 min. We asked our server how much longer would it take. She gave us an attitude and stated, "This is why I told you to get the buffet". I felt like we were being scolded and told what we should eat instead of being treated like a customer that can make their own choices. The food ended up being great, bit the server has no people skills and was very rude. No greeting or thank you for coming. read more

Ashley and Trinidad served 30 of us for Mother's Day dinner! There wasn't a single complaint about any of the food. My tuna melt was well seasoned, fries were hot and fresh, steaks were seared nicely and cooked medium well and they kept full pitchers of ice tea and water on the table at all times. To accommodate that many people on short notice with the correct orders and delicious food in a timely manner deserves 5 stars. None of us expected the food to be as tasty as it was. This was the worse meal we have had! We waited over an hour for our food! My husband walked in to see how busy they were and 2 of the waitress' were rude to him! Then finally he was asked by a nice waitress who have great customer service how many in his party. He said 4 but he needed to get his family from the truck... She showed him the table and set out our 4 menus. He came and got us from the truck and we walked in and went to the table. One of the other waitress came to our table and asked if we needed help so my husband explained that the other lady had showed him this table and set out our menus. She then goes oh, well I picked them up, so I will go get them. We ordered and the the wait was on... Over an hour we waited for our food which was just warm... And very subpar in taste! We ordered chicken fried steak, steak and shrimp, spaghetti and meatballs and fettuccine.. the 'garlic bread was cold and hard. The rice that came with the steak and shrimp was cold. The steak was charred on one side and the only seasoning you could taste was pepper! It was supposed to be medium rare... I am so irritated at the low quality of the food we were served! Recently we started going on a regular basis and thought it was time to update my review. The decor has been refreshed, the menu paired down, and training of wait-staff has improved. The reason for only 4 stars (wish I could give 4.5 because it's improved so much), there's still an inconsistency in wait-staff training. Meaning, some are knowledge of the menu, some are timely on drink refills, and some listen to your order and get it right the first time. Consistency is key in order to garner 5 stars. We highly recommend the Vineyard In Restaurant for the food and value. read more

Every time I come here I wonder why I came. Today, July 4th at 10AM the restaurant was not busy and we were seated for ten minutes before we saw a waitress, who stopped at the table next to ours to try to explain why it had taken an hour to get their food to them (which wasn't on the table yet.) We left after hearing this and decided to go to Denny's which is cheaper, faster, and just as good tasting. Don't come here - the service perpetually SUCKS. read more

after coming here for about the last 3 years, all in all, service is always slow. waitresses nice enough, food ok, however, cooks are a bit behind which I understand. it is the fact that every time I come here, it is almost a 1.5 hour wait for food. every time. I do come on weekends and week days. on weekends, I assume management is not present. again, understandable. also gives me reason to believe the manager is not a strong one nor implements a sense of urgency to the cooks. I feel bad for the employees who are not getting the proper coaching or leadership from their manager to be able to run an efficient restaurant while the manager is not present.
