The staff is super friendly. They asked when I walked in and about 10 minutes after I was walking around the store if I needed help finding what I needed. I asked for a sample and based on the probiotics I purchased they offered me a supplemental drink sample. The isle are neat and the clearence area was well organized. I came to this place today as I always do every month to buy Stevia and ended up buying a couple of bottles , a bar and a can of Energy drink since I was also hungry . There was a girl employee there that I've never seen working there before who didn't offer me a bag for the items I bought and when I asked about a bag she said I had to pay aside for it and it was the Company Policy and not her fault that this was happening . I was shocked about this since it's unusual because I've also bought items from other Competitors near by and they've never charged me for a bag , I understand that things and prices are expensive nowadays due to the inflation but at least add it then in the price so the customer doesn't have to take all the items to his car on his hands , I think it's just ridiculous. The Vitamin Shoppe is purely a supplement store. It's more of a cleaner, brighter GNC that focuses more on health and well-being. As a plus, their loyalty card is FREE!!! Unfortunately, they do not really have a large stock of the more popular supplements, which is probably why people pass this place by. Also, their prices are usually reasonable and comparable to Walmart, especially during their sale seasons, which are great because you save a ton! The isles are really organized, but it's still pretty hard to find items without help. Bottom line, whenever you go to a store like this: 1. Do your research 2. Know what you're looking for 3. Purchased some items from this location that ended up not agreeing with me. I brought them back with receipt a week later and the manager told me I could only get a store credit because I opened the bottles. I said that's not what the associate told me before I purchased them. Then he said no you only get store credit. We can't resell them because you opened them. Something didn't feel right to me and I was upset but I went looking around to see if there was anything I wanted. I got a couple of things but I would've preferred a refund. I got in my car and left. Later I called 3 other Vitamin Shoppes and explained the scenario asking would I get a refund or store credit? All 3 stores said refund! I then asked do some stores have a different return policy they all said no! I say this to say whoever the tall slim Caucasian guy is that manages the Vitamin Shoppe in Centennial is dishonest! I don't like being manipulated or tricked. If the store was trying to reach sales goals he could've just said "ma'am you may have a refund however my store have a sales goal and if you would use your store credit instead that would help us out" or something to that nature then I would not have felt taken advantage of. What brought me to this store is a couple $10 off any purchase coupons I received at the IDEA expo. They happened to be in my purse and I saw this location from the street so I decided to stop as I was in need of some preworkout. When I entered the store there were two employees chatting with each other at the front. Since it was my first time in the store I spent some time browsing and checking prices. Because it's not always easy to find locally, and because a lot of drug store clerks and health food clerks aren't familiar with it, I usually order my particular supplement online. However, I had a few minutes before meeting a friend for lunch on 6/2 and popped into this Vitamin Shoppe. When I asked the young guy behind the counter about the supplement, he knew exactly what I was talking about! I didn't have to spell its name either--that's a first. This is our go-to spot for whatever supplement we are in need of. Each visit the staff has been helpful and informative. I always tell my husband how knowledgeable "Clark Kent" is. Lol. Those who frequent here will know who exactly I am writing about. Really tall, well-built, glasses, young guy...with all jokes aside...he is very helpful and informative. He doesn't sound like a condescending douche who is trying to sound like he knows everything about everything in that store. So thank you Clark Kent! We prefer going with particular brands when it comes to our children's needs...and this place always has what we are in need of. There is a good selection of homeopathic remedies if you are into such lifestyle. I always try to give more plant based meds if and when my children do so, and i can easily find it here. Prices are easier to look at than other like shops, yet, will still be in such range considering they are still a nutrient store. My family and I went here to try and find something comparable to Shakeology for my boys. After it was recommended to us by their personal trainer. Unfortunately we can not afford Shakeology for both of our kids. It is very pricey, the guy that works in this store (didn't catch his name) was so so amazingly helpful. Rolled in a few weeks ago looking to replenish some of my vitamins. A tall, athletic looking gentleman was on point and took me around the shop and pointed out everything I needed. I was impressed given that I can go online, read some sites or reviews, and I am almost certain get some sort of discount. I thought about going online this time around when my multi's ran out. I was in the area and given the exceptional customer service I had previously received, thought I would visit the shoppe again. I walked in and this time it was a female who initially greeted and assisted me. She asked what I was looking for and I told her multi vitamins. She held out her hands and gave me a quirky look as they were right behind me. My bad. Given the response, I did not ask nor was I asked specifically what I was looking for. Thoughts of retreating back to the comfort of the internet flooded my mind, as I did a 180 to search through the immense selection. F*&^ that! Like I previously stated...I can research and purchase at home. I decided to seek the advise of the same vitamin specialist that helped me the last time. I told him what I was looking for and he scanned the rows. He offered up his recommendation and I purchased. Had this been a first time experience, I would have dropped a two star. My 9 year old son asked me to post this review after our first visit last night. We went for liquid vitamins for him, due to constant growing pains. The guys last night were compassionate and helpful with HIM (and of course me) but they addressed him. My son was very happy that they didn't treat him like he was faking anything, and one guy told him his children using a particular product, so my son trusts him. I needed to stock up on some protein and recovery drinks while visiting Vegas and they didn't disappoint. This and all other Vitamin Shoppes have had what I needed as far a protein and recovery products. This store is smaller but should have most of what people are looking for. First off, I will say that the staff here is very friendly and eager to help. There is really no issues with service. I just wish they were more knowledgeable about vitamins and herbs. Make sure you do your own research if you plan on starting a new supplement. Store is pretty clean. My issue with them is when it comes to baby probiotics. My wife and I purchased a bottle of powdered probiotics from the fridge section for our 6 month old. We are usually good at checking dates on things, but for some reason failed to check the date on the probiotics. We did not notice until the bottle was empty, that it expired in December of 2013. We bought it in Feb of 2014. We went back there to return the other unopened bottled that was also expired. We went to the fridge only to notice that ALL of the baby probiotics were expired. They do not rotate, which is not cool, especially when it comes to baby products. They told us that a new order will come in later that week. We checked back, and still no order. It is now the end of March, and there is still no new probiotics. It's really frustrating because I was so happy that this location opened up as it is close to home. From now on, I will have to drive out of my way to the one in Summerlin. They are usually well stocked and rotate their products. read more

I am a semi-frequent shopper here and have to say that my experiences here are usually pleasant and quick. Each time I've had to ask for help with locating a supplement or had some questions, the staff come through and don't disappoint. A few times they've let me know about ongoing promos but unfortunately these BOGO offers just don't work for what I need. Recently, I purchased some (not cheap!) supplements and when I got home I noticed the bottle had already been opened. I called them to let them know my issue, the guy on the phone (Corey?) was accommodating and told me to bring the bottle back with the receipt and they'd take care of me. I did that very thing the next day. The guy handling my exchange (Deatric?) was on top of the issue and he retrieved the new bottle and did the exchange. He did point out there should have been an outer seal on the bottle, which I never saw on the one I brought back. It would have been nice if the cashier who initially checked me out had noticed this was missing. Oh well, I'll definitely pay closer attention to all pill bottles when I buy them from now on. read more
