This is my go to location. They nearly always have what I'm looking for and it's close by. They do a military discount on Mondays so when things r not on sale they still get 20% off which is cool. The employees are awesome, always kind and very knowledgeable. That's comforting and helpful when it comes to experiencing new products. I shop here ALOT... and buying online is also very easy. I've been coming to this Vitamin Shoppe location for years. While I admit that I don't frequent this store as often as I used to, I have to acknowledge the wonderful service that I receive almost every time that I've come in. I've read some recent reviews mentioning that the service has been subpar, but the employees have always been helpful and cordial whenever I've come in. The store is always clean and organized. They've changed the location of certain items in the store a few times over the years, but it's generally pretty easy to find what you're looking for. Anytime that I've had a question or needed assistance, I've found the associates to be very knowledgeable and helpful. The prices are a bit high compared to your local department and/or drugstore. However, I've been able to find rare supplements, vitamins, and oils that I couldn't find in those stores here. If you're looking for pure vitamins and supplements without all of those random additives, coming here to find them is truly your best bet. They have a nice rewards program that allows you collect points and discounts with each visit. They used to carry hair care products and lotions here too back in the day, but they've basically gotten rid of that section now. It makes sense I guess since it is a "vitamin shop", but it was nice to have everything all in one place. I prefer coming here over GNC which is actually closer to me because the associates are way more knowledgeable about the products. Don't buy this product, it was pitched to me how great tasting it is and honestly it was 2/10. Tried to go back and just ask for a new flavor and they said no. They told me I had a month if I didn't like it and was a month to the day and they said nope. They they said it's actually 30 days however was not what I was told. Shady business, will not be back. Went in to this location today to replenish my protein. Usually they price match bodybuilding.com or even the manufacturers site but this time they wouldn't do either even though their website clearly states they will match ANY competitor with the exception of marketplace or amazon prime. Clearly not the case. He didn't give any sort of explanation of what they do honor. So I went online and ordered for pick up in store and the was helped by Daniel who's always cool. Helpful honestly because I had no idea what I was looking for lol ... she took me right to the section and I first even still left unsure of if it was the right one. I re enter the store she's with a customer talking about products and I see it's NoT just Me she's this kind and friendly to everyone so treat her nice in this day and age getting good customer service is rare... she went above and beyond in my eyes had to leave her a review thank you. OMG, this is like candy heaven. They have everything here from snack bars, protein powder, to coconut oil. It can be overwhelming. I've literally had to come here a few times to sit there and compare items. It's like going to a Barnes & Noble to sit in the aisle and read a book. And they have great prices due to many items always being on sale. I really like how everything is separated in their own sections; pre/intra workout, mass building, vitamins, etc. Sign up for their free rewards cards and enjoy the rewards. You might as well if you're going to be spending money there. I like this store better than the one in Brentwood. This one is bigger and has a better selection. This location is my go-to for any vitamins and supplements. Wide variety and friendly staff. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable when you're stuck deciding between different items. I can tell that they actually know/have an idea on what they're talking about rather than making up some little sales pitch. Super easy to work with too. I've tried a few supplements that didn't work for me and they've always been hassle free when it comes to returns/exchanges. Nice variety, I've been to another location where it was a smaller shop and they didn't have many options (or maybe they ran out) for whey isolate but this location seems to always have what I need. I've been shopping at vitamin shop for quite a while now I get all my vitamins there when I went in to get certain vitamins I always get all the vitamins in the store were switched around,the brand everything I couldn't find anything so when I did find the product that I wanted it was at a good price and I purchased it got home looked at my receipt and it was doubled they put it in the wrong section so I called to talk to the manager and he said OK will check it out so he calls me back and says oh they made a mistake somebody's a put it in the wrong section so it's actually it was the double the price so he didn't say sorry Will honor the price that you saw on the shelf he did not that is false advertising. After hearing all the hype about how knowledgeable the associates are and how the prices are low, I had to check it out. I was unimpressed, as I felt that I knew more than the associate did about the sports nutrition supplements, and he seemed very uninterested in having to talk about various products. The prices were OK, online sites obviously had lower prices, but I was surprised to see that some of their other products were even more expensive than GNC carries them for. This is my go-to location for supplements and protein! Coming from a lengthy retail management background (a once senior manager from a competitor actually) I greatly​ appreciate the greeting each time I come in the door, the cleanliness of the store, each section is blocked and faced, full and impactful and very inviting. The team is helpful and friendly, offers assistance without being pushy and makes the experience comfortable. I also love the selection! For me the abundance of choices are not overwhelming, rather I am able to find an exact choice that fits my budget. Although a chain, this vitamin shoppe feels like the neighborhood mom and pop shop where the staff recognizes you and the environment is comfortable. Horrible service. I came and waited several minutes the store was not that busy and this woman was working (mature caucasian woman in her 50-60s). I faced gender discrimination immediately. One male customer was in the store, she saw I walked in store and did not greet me. Then she came to assist the gentleman and he said he didn't need help. She saw I was waiting for her and continued to make conversation with him for a couple minutes even though he did not need help. Another male customer walked in and again she sees I am behind her waiting for, she proceeds to greet the new customer and ask him if he needs help. He says Yes and I clear my throat and say to her "excuse me I have been waiting and need help/recommendations finding a few things." She told me where to find one item and said "that will get you started and I will help the gentleman then meet you after for the other item" and just walked away. Her tone immediately changed to an irritated one when I asked for help. I walked out right after, going to GNC now! read more

For the past year, I've been on a weight loss journey. The Vitamin Shoppe has become on of the places I frequent for things that I need. And this location is AMAZING! Sheldon is the first employee I interacted with, and he is seriously the most helpful person ever. I know a lot of people post about feeling uncomfortable when they don't fit the aesthetic of a "fitness store," but I have never once experienced that here. I've been given advice, offered free samples, and am always greeted warmly and genuinely. I feel like a wasted 15 mins of my life that I will never get back. I was told you can amazon price adjustments so I thought cool I'm going to go here to get some stuff. Then they tell me that 'oh we stopped doing this weeks ago, but if you find a price anywhere else besides amazon then we can adjust it.' So I thought okay fair and I looked up another place and showed them then he said no not that place so then I asked 'okay, what place can I look up, because first you told any website and now you're giving me restrictions?' He never told me a straight answer and I called him out on it. Then he said 'non-membership sites' and I found one and guess what...denied. He couldn't even give me an answer as to why. Idk if he wasn't well informed in the new policy or well you know...I got so frustrated and left. I would've been fine with the new changes if I he was able to give me straight answers but I had to repeat the same question several times to get a general response which didn't at all answer my questions. I have walked in looking for black seed oil. I was not sure what type was good and the specifics of each supplement I needed. Thomas who seemed to be in charge guided me through with a wealth of information and helped me out greatly. I loved this place soooo much, and it hurts me it's like a break up that this store did to me. I used to come here allllll the time with my son, it turned into a routine. I knew the staff and they were all nice to me and my son. I gave this place my business because they price matched everything to amazon. Plus I had that face to face interaction when I inquired about a product. It was a win until one day I came in to get get my usual vitamins for my son, but was not given the price match I was expecting. Corporate made a new policy and made it so they did not price match any online market that had a membership fee. So I said ok fine, looked up another place with no membership annual fee but the employees said 'no'. This place no longer gets my business, and I would rather go to sprouts or target when they have sales, and amazon of course if neither have a sale. This place is over priced when it comes to their products, your better off getting whatever you need for half the price on amazon or sprouts. read more

I would have given this place 5 stars. But the only reason I did not is because of one particular employee, the older woman I believe her name is Mary. She, everytime I've been in there, delays helping customers, tells us to "hold on" and walks away to answer a phone call ON HER CELL PHONE. She has the worst customer service I've ever witnessed which is even more appalling because she's an older woman who you'd think knows how to properly serve her customers, one of my favorite things about having seasoned workers help me. She will sit in the chair at the front and not help the customers in line when another employee is helping a customer with questions in the back. She openly disrespects her other employees, she doesn't listen to her customers when she "asks" a question. She talks over you and has the audacity to try and correct you about your reasoning behind looking for a specific product and then some how things it's ok to say you're wrong for your reasoning. I've witnessed many customers complain about her and say she needs to be fired. She's told her boss "well why don't you do it" she's told customers that she wants to quit and this company isn't fair. She frequently complains about her schedule to customers, and she flat out needs to be fired. Everyone else there is always so helpful and always working. I appreciate the whole team except for that employee. Having years of management under my belt I can not bring myself to be around a disgruntled employee like her. I hope the corporate reprimands her or replaces her. This is a horrible look for the company. read more

Previously dissatisfied by another nutrition center (who shall remain nameless) I was eager to check out the Vitamin Shoppe. Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They were very welcoming, letting you know that they're there to help but also let you have your space if you don't need help. One associate in particular, Heather is a Vitamin Shoppe Rockstar! I've been going to this location for over a year for all of my supplement and snack purchases when I'm in the area. The staff is extremely chill, laid back and helpful, especially Sheldon. He's the guy I always go to when I'm purchasing anything. He even gave me tips on the Quest Bars to heat them up for a better taste!!! He's extremely helpful, nice, and upbeat when I come in.
