My first time stopping by the quenched trailer, I got a tiramisu latte and I was hooked. Both the tiramisu latte and pandan latte were the perfect sweetness level (not too sweet) and tasted amazing. Come support this local business because they truly deserve all the best. I didn't get her name but the lady who served us was able to make my dog a little pup cup and he too is now a huge fan!

I tried their creme brulee latte, which was pretty good, although it lacked that classic creme brulee flavor. Instead, it just tasted like a caramel latte. It was still delicious, though. I was really hoping for the famous caramelized sugar top of creme brulee, but it wasn't there. We also got an individual sized carrot cake, which I liked. However, if you do not like raisins, you may not like it because they put so many raisins in this cake. Overall, my experience was pretty good, although the service was a little bit slow.

But, I am patient for good coffee, and it was great! I also recognize that this is a small business, not a Starbucks, so things operate differently. Had to check myself a little, lol. The coffee was actually so good that I didn't even need to put sugar in it and I normally always do. I am a true coffee lover and the flavor of this coffee was bold, smooth, just the right hit of acidity...not bitter at all. You can tell the beans are quality and roasted/ground fresh. The beans are clearly respected. Gotta give five stars just based on that. Staff are reserved but very pleasant. Also, the pastry was amazing flavor-wise but I think they warmed it up in the microwave as it was heated within 20 seconds and I heard the whirring/beeping of what sounded like a microwave, though she heated it in the back so I couldn't see. Unfortunately this makes a delicate pastry become soggy and the filling gets scalding hot. It would be nice if the shop could invest in a proper toaster oven similar to other cafes in order to heat pastries in a more appetizing way. Just a suggestion, but not a huge deal. Not only can I get an authentic Taiwanese shaved ice, but they have an incredible variety of ice flavors (strawberry, mango, green tea, etc) and toppings. They also have boba tea (which also originated in Taiwan), milk tea, regular ice cream, freshly cooked Chinese finger foods, and more. The place has tables inside and out and is always immaculate. I also really appreciate that they don't add the problem of landfills overflowing with plastics! They use real dishes and real silverware. I don't know of any other place that conscientious. I have been going here for 8 years. It was started by a couple from Taiwan and the owners the last several years are from China. They keep the place open seven days a week, but even with that grueling work schedule, the customer service is always fantastic. They go out of their way to keep their customers happy. Apparently, I'm not the only one who loves the place, because when school gets out, the place is filled with teenagers and families with children. It's a great place to hang out. I watched the barista make drinks for everyone in line before me. There was only one other person of color in line (I'm brown). They straight up ignored me while I stood there waiting and watched as the barista (a whites woman) pushed my drink aside to make everyone else drink before mine. Like literally waiting until the line was gone and no more orders. (Also this has happen more than once. It's a pattern). What is the point of online order if I could have just gotten in line? And why treat me like that? Previous ownership had a different vibe. And this ain't it. There's no improvement (it's not more fresh), and about the only upside is they scoop it for you and you can have it put in a cone. The space itself is small but the set up doesn't work well as people crowd around the long cases making it hard to order and although I found the service helpful it was a bit hands off. All in all, while it's decent ice cream, you're better off just getting a pint from the grocery store.
