Stopped by with my girlfriend because she needed to pick up some vitamins. The store was clean and well organized as is every Vitamin Shoppe. We were greeted twice -- once by the cashier and once by a team member stocking the shelves. I forget what type of vitamins she purchased but it was about $60 for one bottle which I thought was expensive. But hey, you can really put a price tag on your health. I didn't realize how many beauty focused products they carry like collagen and a bunch of vitamin E based items. They also carry several brands of energy drinks and protein bars. Good selection for the gym junkies! It's also in a great location because it's in a plaza across the street from Oakridge Mall with plenty of parking. Oh, and I hear that you get good deals and discounts through their loyalty program. Might be worth signing up for if you're visiting these branches often. read more

Had a weird experience here. Walked in to buy keratin, then got lectured by staff (judgmental gym bro) on what keratin is after all I asked was "what's the best keratin" needs to lay off the roids. He was incredibly passionate about telling me my diet "probably isnt good" and that I need to drink more water. Literally did not ask for the information. Sucks to not be able to walk into a store and get friendly customer service. I bought what I needed so the products here are fine. Train your staff to not body shame or push their opinions on people. read more

Store is clean, Well kept and a good variety! A big thank you to Deb! Every recommendation she has given me has been perfect! I do my best to do my research in the beginning and not only do I come and get clarification but I always leave having learned something more. This place is like a candy store or bookstore to me because I am always in awe w/ the selections that they have because I get excited for protein products! They have Real Good personal pizzas here but they do not have the large or breakfast pizzas but still great if you cannot make the trip to Max Muscle. Pizzas that contain only 4g of carbs? Sold! I also love their clearance table and the random sales I happen to come upon. I don't come here often (Vitamin Shoppe) because it gets expensive. + Power Crunch Bars (they have the new red velvet) + good sale on LL's cookies + single serving protein pb from Buff Bake + ostrich jerky + protein chips No issue on service. I have been here twice for supplements such as pre-workout, protein powder, and even multivitamins. They have a huge variety of amazing brands, however, I do prefer anything from Ryse Supplements. The first product I bought from here was a "Koolaid" flavored pre-workout and it's safe to say that all of the ingredients in the pre are clinically dosed. If you do decide to buy from their "Ryse Supplement" collection I recommend you get one of their licensed flavors along with the Ryse "Pump Capsules" or if you'd rather just buy one stacked pre-workout, I'd recommend the "Godzilla" pre-workout they sell here. The other products I recommend from The Vitamin Shoppe are some sort of once-daily multivitamin with a high percentage of the daily dose in magnesium which should be fairly easy to find since they have a huge variety and some sort of Isolate Protein Powder. Overall a very organized and clean store, and 10/10 would recommend it. read more

Big shout out to Ralph. He is seriously one of the good ones. I've only been to this location a handful of times but every time I make a trip over, Ralph is quick to greet myself and any other customers who walk in. He's courteous, professional, and most of all he seems very genuine when he says he wants to help. As someone who's worked in retail I'd say he also does a very good job of offering any promotions or memberships without coming off as pushy. The store itself is clean, and it seems like they keep a good stock of the popular items. Their prices are also quite reasonable for your typical retail chain. End of the day though, I'll keep coming back to this location based off the customer service alone. It's always encouraging to go into a business and be presented with genuine kindness. This shop is amazing because of one of their workers, Chris. He is always a help whenever I need it and his knowledge helped me a lot in finding the way that works best for me and my fitness goals. There were other workers there but he is the one that makes me feel welcomed and not a burden. Without Chris I don't know if I would've gone back after my first visit. It's been 8 months since I've incorporated weight lifting into my fitness routine. One of the key items that I've also incorporated into my diet are Quest Bars. Though they are quite pricey, Ralph was awesome enough to recommend that I tell him that I found them cheaper online. With this "suggestion", he was able to price match my box of blueberry muffin Quest Bars with a cheaper price. If you end up at this location for your supplemental needs, definitely ask Ralph for a price match. read more

I called the store to be sure they had an item before I drove there - it showed they had it on their website but wanted to get confirmation. Someone picked up the phone and clearly just placed the receiver down as I could hear store noise in the background - didn't even get a "hello" or "can you hold"! I eventually hung up and decided to make the drive. The fact that they didn't have the item didn't bother me nearly as much as the fact that I was in the store for about 8 mins and never saw one sales associate! I'd say it was horrible customer service but I can't because it was absolutely zero customer service! Going back to online shopping. read more

I came in here to do an exchange on a 5lb tub of Bodytech (Vitamin Shoppe's private brand) chocolate mint protein and got nothing but rude service from the manager. The person who sold me the protein two weeks prior stated that he had never tried that flavor but that if i didn't like it, i could bring it back to exchange no questions asked. Since his nametag said "MANAGER" on it i think it was safe for me to assume that he was the manager. Well it turned out that the protein tasted like crap so i ended up bringing it back without the receipt. I told the girl whose nametag also said "MANAGER" about the situation and she didn't believe me about my story and what the "MANAGER" told me. I described the employee to her and she said nobody here fit that description. After giving me a hard time, the manager who did the exchange for me acted like she was doing me a favor by allowing me to exchange the protein without a reciept. "I'll do it for you, but this is the ONLY and FINAL time I will do it" in a harsh tone. Well how about this is the ONLY and FINAL time i will shop here from now on? I'm not trying to steal or anything. It was a crappy product and I wasn't satisfied with it. So don't treat customers like criminals. They probably get alot of people try to scam and use up the majority of the product before they decide that they don't like it and try to return it for money. But out of this 5lb tub, I took a total of 3 shakes (6 scoops out of 80 servings) before bringing it back. Supplement stores like this should be going above and beyond with customer service since everybody knows that it is insanely cheaper to buy them online. read more

What an awesome store! When I was pregnant with my son I came here for my Rainbow Light vitamins. They are the only prenatal vitamins that didn't make me sick! Lisa was kind and helpful and assisted me with all of my product inquiries. After my baby was born, I came here for Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle to increase my milk supply. They have a great varitey of vitamins, supplements, and natural care products. If you sign up for the Healthy Awards Program, you get a card which you use on each visit to accumulate between $5- $540 in free merchandise! Another great thing about this store is that Babies R Us is in the same shopping plaza so I was able to buy my vitamins and shop for my belly bump all in one trip! read more

Me and my boyfriend went to this vitamin shop location last Friday and Hugo,which i think is the store manager, was VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ! we explained to him that the pre workout powder we are using is giving us an itchy / tingly body reaction and he explained why we experienced that reaction and then gave us suggestions on other products. he was very nice and knew what hes talking about. Clean and bright...I like that Decent selection and a good sale....I like that too. Shockingly aloof employees...I don't like that. I came in looking a mess, and I can't help but think that I would have received much better service if I were dressed as my fabulous alter ego (aka not fresh from a workout). There were SO many people working but I had to really work for help. Zero personality displayed by anyone. Totally devoid of charisma. It was like walking into a store manned by Androids. They weren't even programmed to be helpful. I spent about 45 minutes there looking for all the stuff I needed and, even when checking out, I didn't sense the slightest bit of warmth - not even a hint of a smile. These guys weren't interested in educating or guiding me at all. As a speciality retailer, it makes me want to help them out with an employee training session because they definitely need it! Buy one get one 1/2 off this week on certain products. I normally do not buy in store for my Whey Protein Isolate but they are on sale today. They do carry many other health related supplements but they are pricey. I recommend to buy in store when they have sales. Otherwise, buy online, its 110% cheaper! :) read more

3.5 stars. Nice store, friendly staff. To be honest I don't shop here a lot. I usually get my basic vitamin needs elsewhere, but they have a great selection of herbals and other items that tend to be pricier in other places. if you catch a sale, it's totally worth it. the layout of the store seems busy, but I think that's just how it it. I also find some items overwhelming. Do we really need multiple brands of the same item? I have no idea. I just stand there trying to figure it all out. read more

Scored the cheapest deal on some specific organic multivitamins here (even compared to online retailers)! I've never really been here, but compared prices online for the item and Vitamin Shoppe offered the best deal. Turns out the item could be found in store (thanks to the online locator) and it was easy to find (thank to an organized and clean store). The in-store price, while on sale, was $5 more than what I found on their website so the sales associate looked it up and kindly matched the price for me. I was in and out in five minutes flat with exactly what I needed. (P.S. The vitamins I needed were $8-24 cheaper than other retailers!). Yay! I have been taking multivitamins for years and they really do contribute to healthier skin, hair, and nails. read more

This is my local Vitamin Shoppe. Lots of parking, easy to find as it is on the corner of Blossom Hill Rd and Santa Teresa Blvd, right behind Chevron gas station. The store is well lit, lots of light and a joy to shop in. Staff here is very helpful, friendly and if you become a rewards member, you get a money off coupon at the end of the year. This store does honor Vitamin Shoppe online coupons. Great place to shop for Protein powder, bars, vitamins, and other supplements. BF and I went inside to see about protein powders and supplements. I haven't been in this particular location for a long time. New employees but they both were awesome. Hugo helped my BF out with finding some herbs that might help with his regimen. Jonathan was awesome. He spent a good 20/25 minutes explaining and answering all of our questions. Both were very knowledgeable! Very pleased with service there. Will definitely be back to buy some powder as soon as we figure out which ones we're buying. There's so many options to choose from! ps.. love the fact that they have many trial packets to try so you don't waste money on nasty tasting protein shake powder. keep up the great work. read more

Good selection, bad management. I came in on 7/25 and left with a pre workout/test booster. After trying the powder the following day 7/26, the taste was hideous and caused stomach issues. I came in the next day to do an exchange and to my disappointment, the assistant manager said my reason was not enough for him to return the product. The employee made minimal eye contact, came off arrogant, in addition to having terrible customer service skills. Very disappointed in this store. My business now belongs elsewhere. read more

I frequent this location about once a month for cleanses, Vitamins, and essential oils. They usually have the vitamins I'm looking for but every time I've gone the past 4 times, they've been out of the essential oils AND carrier oils I was looking for. This place seems a little more focused on body building supplements then holistic health in my opinion. Also, the employees always ask if you need help but aren't very helpful if you say yes, most of the time. Lol. Pretty good place overall but I think I'll try another location next time. read more

not the most awesome of supplement stores- the staff is pretty uninformed and does not know all that much about muscle building chemistry. An associate incorrectly informed " kre-alkalyn is a super protein that does not break down in the lower intestine but in the liver, and is incredibly stable on the shelf". Not sure what he was getting at but kre-alklyn is a form of Creatine which is a BCAA and is PH balanced which allows it to be broken down and absorbed later in the intestinal track and not in the stomach. If you know what you are doing feel free to head here and take advantage of the their prices. If you are novice I would recommend going to a better local shop that can be a bit more informative on what to get. read more

The service here is generally good. Once I got a guy who was really really stellar, very nice and we were talking about the Slice-of-Life Multi-Vitamins which are just awesome.....because they don't taste like cardboard. Another time I got a girl was really interested in my protein powder. I've tried a lot of powder.....protein that is.....and the Nectar Chocolate Truffle one is the greatest! The last time I was there the lady who helped me didn't say a word the entire time she was ringing me up. She didn't look too happy either. Weird! read more
