This place is great. Don't expect the owner to give you over the top customer service though. He's not going to greet you at the door when you walk in and ask you what you're looking for. He might say hello if he's not busy, but don't interpret this as him being rude because that is absolutely not the case. If you have questions about something, or are looking for something specific, ask him. He's very knowledgeable and knows his stuff. They have a wide variety of supplements and vitamins and they are all reputable brands for the most part. It's also a lot cheaper than any other brick and mortar store. I went in to price check some multivitamins the other day and the price wasn't listed on any of the containers so I asked him. He told me his price off the top of his head, then proceeded to check online and saw the lowest listed price was on Amazon. His price still beat Amazon's price. I bought them right then and there. I've been coming here for probably close to a decade and used to always get my protein here. I found out about this place from my friend right before I made a purchase at GNC. I was ready to buy about $200 of supplements from GNC when my friend called me and told me about Good Life. I just walked away from the register and came to this place. I was expecting to spend roughly the same price until I talked to Joe. He told me what I should do for my diet and recommended one product to me for my needs. I was blown away at how genuine Joe was. He did not push any other products on me even when I asked for recommendation of other supplements.I was actually wanting to spend more money than the $29.99 product he recommended me, but he just said I simply didn't need any other products other than following a strict diet which he helped come up for me and the lean muscle supplement. I came to this store because I heard the supplements were cheaper than GNC and Vitamin Shopped and I needed some fast. I'm assuming Joe is the asian guy behind the counter with his wife watching tv. I wouldn't know because he didn't even ackowledge me when I came and walked pass the counter. First off, I tried to follow the previous reviewer's advice to get to this place, but the map and directions was off. The cross street should be Saratog and Kiely Blvd. It should be on the right hand side right after you pass Saratoga St. It's a small shop. It took me an hour by bus to get to this place, but was worth the visit. After reading the reviews, it is as everyone says it was. Despite the fact that my mom is a dietition and has given me nutritional advice all my life, Joe really knows his stuff. There were some stuff that I didn't know about, but Joe introduced me to some new stuff. I asked him how I should have prepare myself for an upcoming marathon. I wanted to get build more mass since I'm a fairly skinny guy, but he just said that I should just eat more and train more. Following his advice for about a month now, I can now train more without getting sore and have been able to build up a little bit more mass and I didn't have to buy a big tub of whey protein. Well...not yet, I'll have to consider what kind of build I want to pursue and willing to sacrifice certain attributes such as endurance or speed and etc. But until then, I'll definitely be back for more.
