I've long been a customer of this Vitamin Shoppe. I find the staff here very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I do want to single out Jeshana. She is by far the most helpful and attentive person in any Vitamin Shoppe I've ever been to. Because the company is constantly changing brands and stocking levels(not my favorite thing) I often have to find substitutes for my desired purchases and Jeshana is ALWAYS right on the money with her suggestions. In the age of Covid where customer service has all but disappeared Jeshana is a bright shining star and could not be a better representative for Vitamin Shoppe! read more

Decent sized store and I was greeted quickly and the employee that helped me was easily able to direct me to where to find the vitamins I needed. Short line to pay and staff at the counter was friendly and polite. Store is clean and brightly lit, conveniently located just off the 101 in Thousand Oaks. Ample parking. Customer Service was amazing for the most part. The manager went above and beyond to explain different products available related to the purchase my wife made on this visit. She was cautious not to waste our time and made sure I was comfortable waiting while she gave my wife her presentation. We appreciated her efforts, as her male counterpart was not nearly as inviting nor knowledgeable. So let's just say the Manager saved the store from losing any stars today!!! This place is legit. I go here at least 10 times a week to purchase Muscle Milk. I need it for the best gainz. Between trips to my gym and my nutritionist , this is the only place I go. (Occasionally to IHOP on my cheat days). The staff is polite as hell, and everyone knows their shizzz. I once stopped in because I consumed too many "Lenny and Larry's protein cookies. (The birthday cake ones, obviously.). The staff knew just what to do, and told me to go see my doctor at once, possible protein overload. I did, and my doctor managed to get my levels down to a normal state. They knew just what to do!!!! Literally, saved my life. I still eat Lenny and Larry's cookies though, just in moderation. read more

Where do I start? Absolutely appalled by how this store is run with inexperienced employee , such as Jordan . I am a 10 year local customer to Vitamin Shoppe. Noticed a few solid employees, and a few that come & go. All of the employees , with exception of the newest JORDAN have been great. Helpful, kind ,respectful. Jordan has been a under standard employee from the beginning. I have caught him creeping on , my young daughter & other young women in that store. I was always aware when he was in the store.. uncomfortably got my items the got out. He is so unprofessional, disrespectful & recently I am truly concerned he is UNSAFE . ..UNSTABLE . Be AWARE !! They always have my Optimum Gold Standard brand protein in stock which I appreciate. Word to the wise, stick to the chocolate flavor and not the cookies and cream. Just take my word for it. They should rename the store "Alice in Vitamin Land" because she is always there and she really knows her stuff. Prices are good and employees are helpful. They used to be super annoying but they have backed off. I have no complaints.

This place is outstanding. The selection of supplements continues to be overwhelming with every visit, but the staff there does a wonderful job of helping me select the right supplements to fit my needs. Alice, in particular, always makes my visit a pleasant one. She recognizes and greets me every time I walk in the door, and she helps guide me to find me the right products to fit my lifestyle and needs, without being pushy, which is a hard line to walk in the retail business. My only complaint is that I leave spending too much money! Their rewards program helps soothe that over, however. I just wish the rewards came more frequently than once a year. read more

This place has a very good selection of products. I enjoy their very wide selection of protein and fiber bars/Premade drinks. The reason for 2 stars instead of 4 or 5 are the employees. I arrived one day right when they open and their manager was over thirty minutes late and they couldn't let us in. In addition the employees are taught to recommend vitamin shoppe products over others and often have no idea how good the supplements are. I had to explain to an employee that your body can only absorb so many vitamins and minerals at the same time. They responded saying that their multivitamin had more vitamins and minerals than the brand I traditionally buy and is a one dose horse pill. They completely didn't understand that one a day horse pill vitamins don't work very well because you only absorb a small percent of those vitamins read more

I had the best experience at this Vitamin Shoppe Alice one of the employee there is a wonderful person and human an angel from heaven. I when in the Shoppe because I needed a lot of help i have a sick Mother that dehydrate because of a problem she has with her urinary tract and she could keep any water in her system she when in 2 times to the Energy Room because of it and no hydration in her body i say to my self i have to help my mom and I look and look in the internet trying to find something that will help my mom so I when in the Vitamin Shoppe i ask a gentleman to help me but he had no idea he send me to GMC and Alice heard and I told me to wait so I waited patiency because she was very busy then finally i told her what was wrong and she directed me to the Bodyteck Electrolyte Fizz oral supplement she also recommended me the pill for vitamins in her body so I bought them both to see if it will herp my mom to my surprise there is a 180 degrees change no more hospital and she even has red cheeks on her. I was not so pleased vitisting this place in September 2014.The questiions given me a woman who allegedly was trying to help my boyfriend and me to define what kind of vitamins I need, gave me a lot of unpleasant moments.- Do you have periods? Are you over 50? She doesn't know about my relationship with that guy and I consider her questions are very unappropriate. I was so dissapointed that I need to hear all that stuff and supposedly answer her questions.I've left that store. I don't know the name of that woman but she has a black curvy hair.Her age is about over 50. I think she needs to be trained in a better way. read more
