Was a quality apartment complex before multiple management changes. Dog poop and broken glass everywhere, protect your pet's paws. No leasing enforcement to ensure that residents honor Trash Valet, which invites an abundance of roaches, no matter how you keep your unit, the doors aren't adequately weather stripped. YOU WILL PAY FOR MONTHLY PEST CONTROL but you will not confer a thorough service or benefit. Pest control days have switched three times since I moved here in July 2022. The new leasing staff wants to be sassy but they are lacking in professional savvy and customer (resident) services, but they are up to par with eavesdropping and blank stares but they don't pay rent here to appreciate a loyal resident's frustration. They don't keep up with resident records so vital information will need to be reiterated. Maintenance will come into your apartment, even when you deliberately do not grant permission to enter and they don't want to wear booties when they do enter, although they spend all day stepping around animal fecal matter. As of today's post, my ceiling is still damaged from Beryl. Roofers have allegedly been on the property since then but that has no bearing on the interior of my unit. My bedroom is still rearranged from the storm. If you can live with the aforementioned, the utilities rarely go out, but that's a different story if CenterPointe is involved. The floor plans and fixtures are nice and some of the common areas are sufficient. The 2nd pool finally looks usable, but the landscaping is lacking. The gates are usually functioning properly and secured. They rarely answer the phone so you will get your steps in if you live in the second building. Rent at your own risk. read more

Getting Tanglewood and Richdale to remedy two types of infestations is a nightmare. We're on day five of them knowing of termites in our home and bed bugs. The first "pest" person they sent confirmed the termites on our doors were in fact termites. He could not confirm if we had bed bugs, and also stated he is not qualified to confirm nor treat bed bugs, or treat the termites. The 2nd person they sent from an actual pest company confirmed the bed bugs and termites and gave us a paper to prep us for treatments the following day. A 3rd person came today for a "2nd opinion" and now apparently we don't have an infestation lol! I am COVERED in bites, termites are seen eating through the wood and coming into our home, and their droppings (which look like saw dust) have to be vacuumed off the floor. We stayed up all night last night washing all of our bedding, blankets, curtains, and clothing. We took our bedroom apart and took everything out of shelves and drawers so the treatment could get done right away today! After the 3rd person was sent, office manager Jamie told me it seems like we were misinformed of getting treatment today. It was a "mix up" due to training new employees??? But apparently we can count on yet another person to come "look" for an extra opinion. She also noted she has termites in her apartment- that doesn't make me feel better? Since Monday morning it has been a fight to get Tanglewood and Richdale to help us. Our apartment is uninhabitable and they have done nothing to fix it. Steer clear of signing here unless you enjoy neighbors who leave piles of shoes down the halls reaching to your apartment door, break ins, dirty garages, unkept halls, and a community gate that is always broken, which allows anyone to come in. And of course, termites, bed bugs, and an office who doesn't care about the stress they are inflicting on you. Tanglewood does not care that I have not gotten more than a few hours of sleep each night bc I am genuinely AFRAID to lie down in my own home! We did not bring bed bugs from our previous home, we actually got brand new furniture a whole week after moving into this unit, we have not traveled, stayed in anyone else's home or hotel. We have not even had any guests over. Literally, the only other people in our home have been Tanglewood employees. I have sent a complaint in to the Houston Apartment Association, and at this point I may need to contact the health department. read more

Great Apartment Community and comfortable living environment. We resided here for over 8 years, ultimately upgrading to the J Plan, unit 1451, before our relocation. West building 1451 boasts a prime location with excellent views, sunlight, and convenient access to the garage. The community offers superb connectivity, proximity to amenities, and outstanding facilities such as a fitness center, pool, valet trash, and discounted technology services. Maintenance requests are promptly addressed by a professional team, ensuring a hassle-free living experience. Despite the potential for roaches in humid weather, we rarely encountered issues over our 8-year tenure, thanks to proactive cleanliness and pest control efforts with the assistance of the maintenance team. They have alarms in the house , camera in parking , corridors etc. and gated community , I was satisfied with the overall security as well. If you want to live comfortably, this is not the place to be. This building that I live in has so many maintenance issues that never get fixed all the way from equipment in the gym, the printer in the business center, to the door for the parking garage. You can go and ask them to fix these problems all you want but, they never get around to it. You have to pay for a luxury apartment when you don't even get luxury living. You have to be home at a certain time to get covered parking but, that's not always guaranteed either some people like to leave their cars parked in the same place for a week to months at a time and not move it considering anyone else. Also, mentioning that guests park their cars in resident parking. You can go and tell management all about it but, they so oh yeah "we will get to it" and never do. It is not worth any money you can live in an older apartment and get better quality living than this. It's not worth what you pay for to live here. read more

I've lived here for 2 years and year one was ok under Lincoln Management. Year 2 under Richdale management is very different. To start, I had put in a maintenance request for my lights in my kitchen. A month later, maintenance still hadn't fixed it. I was literally cooking in the dark. I went to the office to complain, and they blamed to old property owners for taking the extra lightbulbs with them... duh! They belonged to them...buy some dang lightbulbs and replace my lights... Also, the water has been an issue. They'll send messages about the water being shut off but the pipe in the garage has been leaking AFTER they came to fix it. This morning, with NO NOTICE in advance they turned off the water, which means they gave no notice to tenants that needed to get ready for work so that we could plan... very unprofessional! Lastly, the grounds are terrible, dog poop everywhere, trash OUTSIDE the trash chute and they haven't cut the grass in forever! They've also took away the propane for the grills so you can no longer have cook outs by the pool. The walking gates are always broken. I'm very unhappy with Richdale management team, the price of rent is too high for the service. I recommend that as long as they are the owners that potential tenants look elsewhere. read more

So far most requests have been met. Sarah and Leslie prove to be an asset for Tanglewood. I had some difficulty with Jamie on moving day, but as we all know moving can be stressful. Jamie I felt didn't listen or show empathy to my needs. She seemed scattered and overwhelmed. We survived the Day although things may have run smoother had she been more cooperative and just slowed down and listened. When Sarah is on duty things get done ASAP. ASAP is what most people can live with. No one expects immediate attention, however whatever humanly possible works. I read a review on Yelp yesterday that was disturbing. I pray I have none of those issues in the future. As ex-homeowner I shall maintain this apartment as if I own it because in essence I do for the time I will be here. I have a pet and have walked her in designated area for pets. Everything is readily available to clean up after one's pet, however it appears 90% don't feel the need to keep the area clean. All and all I am satisfied with the service I have received. However, there are issues that may need attention to keep the overall outside view with respect to people leaving trash on balconies or bicycles. Having valet service, there should be no need to put trash on one's balcony. With respect to bicycles, perhaps a bicycle station could be set up in garage as many other complexes have. I have recommended Tanglewood to others because I think all and all it's a great place to reside. read more

Great community! Quiet place! I have been living here since Harvey and did not have any bad issue. I live on the East building. Since Richdale started to manage the place it became more cleaner, especially hallways. Pros: quiet neighbors, responsive management, not overcrowded. Cons: dirty pools, dirty gym, leasing don't accept packages, you have to pay extra for box in the mailing room for packages, extra pay for reserved parking, computers and printers do not work at business center, not coffee at lobby, some residents leave trash bags outside of trash chute; there are some abandoned cars in garage that take the available spots; maintenance request takes too long if it not emergency. read more

I went to pick up a car form my friend that lives here & this is my synopsis of my experience... THE BUILDING: The hallways were dingy, lights flickering and ceilings were falling apart. Do not be fool by the front office and model apartment. I'm from out of town and this is definitely a section 8 crack house style apartment building. THE STAFF: I won't go as far to say the staff is racist but I'm going to insinuate it based on my interaction. They were completely rude and incredibly catty to be someone in customer service. They stopped who I thought was a resident but identified himself as " Security " ( off duty cop who lives in the building) while I was waiting on my friend on the sidewalk by his entrance. He asked me to leave the property because "they didn't want me there" even though I explained why I was there and they themselves never asked me once to leave the property. THE "SECURITY": This clown got dropped off at the front in full workout gear. He took a picture of me and when I walked to the front to hit the call button for my friend he stopped me and said he is a cop and moonlights as their security. He asked why I was there, I told him, and he advised me that the front office didn't want me there. I asked if this was him asking in his official capacity of the police and why wasn't he in uniform. He said he could go grab it like that mattered. I told him the sidewalk was public property, I was ignored. He picked up the phone to call one of his on duty buddies. I asked him for his badge number and he gave it to me. He also told me to go ahead and call his superiors because they didn't care what he did. (Sounds like trash cop to me. ) To avoid the drama I walked down the street and waited because I know how trigger happy cops are now a days and he definitely fit the bill. I was on the side walk which is public property and he completely violated my rights by asking me to leave public property without any lawful reason. As a cop he has a fiduciary duty to be impartial and resolve situations. What he didn't know was my bother is a cop and advised me on how to proceed with this situation. ***Officer Douchebag's badge number is 3136 and Tag # 137-6577 if anyone has any future run in with him please report him to the Houston Midwest police department. I'm only giving this property 3 stars... Pros: The Lobby was always extremely clean!!! All of the amenities was always up kept: pool, gym (w/cable), community room ect.... Also the community bathrooms in the second building (2301) always maintained and smelled good. Close to Westhiemer, The Galleria mall, Highways 10 & 59, decent apartment size and decent monthly rent. The maintenance guys was always nice and fast. Cons: High turnover of management staff, they lose packages, very unorganized, don't call you to let you know that you have a package in office. They will let it sit there forever, and then they would have the nerves to "Return to sender" without even letting you know that the package was ever there. That was my biggest pet peeve!!!... They make you pay for the stupid valet trash monthly. They are very ridiculous when given out trash violations. They charged me a 50$ "Trash Violation" just for letting the empty (clean) trash bucket sit out there too long, because I wasn't home to bring it back inside after the trash valet. Umm its called "working" & some ppl have jobs/Lives!!! Tanglewood at Voss was my first Houston apartment moving from New York City. Even though I chose Not to re-new my lease... My experience living there was not amazing but it wasn't too bad. read more

My husband and I recently visited this apartment complex and loved it! It's large and pretty, with lots of amenities, including 2 large pools and a nice sized gym area. But the most surprising part was the affordability of the apartments. We viewed a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom that we're hoping to move into soon. They have 2 buildings across the street from each other, which seemed kind of weird, but whatever. When you live in one building, you have access to all the amenities in the other building as well. The apartment doors are all inside the building and there's an elevator and a parking garage. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. Like I said, we're hoping to move in here soon. So, obviously, we liked it. If we do end up living here, I'll update my review with my experience. read more

Unresponsive maintenance. I have lived at this place for 3 years and have in that time have spent over a month with collapsed blinds in my living room, a month without a working washing machine, and 2 months without a working alarm panel. Maintenance requests submitted online through the resident portal are often forgotten about and require several follow up calls for anything to be done about them. I currently have a non-functioning dishwasher that I know will need a replacement part or to be replaced entirely and have been waiting over a week to have someone show up to take 5 minutes to identify the issue. The east building is constantly having break-ins and has an entrance gate that is always broken. read more

** Stay Away ** Rip Off Management! They will Nickle and Dime you till your last dollar. They find the most ridiculous reasons to keep you to extend your lease or charge you fine. Any simple request they had they would say we could have considered it if you had a long term lease. Well, you are charging me an exorbitant Premium over the normal rent for a reason and that is to cover up for the Short Term Lease. So anyone interested in a Short Term Lease, be warned. Secondly, once my Lease was complete, with no damage and not even a spot of dirt anywhere in the Apartment as I had it cleaned by a Maid Service, they had to find another reason to fleece money off me. So let's go behind his cuisine. He's from a country that uses a lot of spices wile cooking. Lets just call that out and use that as a reason to keep his deposit. First off I am a bachelor who rarely cooks and even if there was cooking involved with spices, I make sure the exhaust and the open balcony takes care of it. If you have any issues with residents cooking their ethic food, please put it down in your Contract and let the future residents know that you guys have an issue with Residents cooking their food in their home. So all future residents be warned, this is just some of the methods they fleece money off you. Alongwith the attitude the Management throws when you talk to them over the phone. I would suggest the new Apartment that has just finished construction a few blocks down towards Kroger. Don't fall for their external looks. No wonder half the Apartment Building is empty without any residents!! read more

Love this place! The office staff here are very friendly and helpful. I've lived here for about a year and I've had a great experience; I've had quick maintenance service when I need it and I've never had issues with neighbors being too loud. The staff keeps the hallways smelling and looking very fresh and clean. What's really awesome is how beautiful the fixtures are. It has beautiful wood floors, awesome tracking lights, a spacious fridge, and best of all, my personal washer and dryer! My previous apartment didn't have half of those things, so this place is definitely an upgrade for me! The apartment floor plans make it so easy to customize it and make it mine. I have a very spacious living room and closet, which really helps with storage space. The resident lounge is nice and quiet; I can get work done down there with a great view of the pool. There's even a Starbucks machine--who doesn't love free coffee and hot chocolate? read more

I should've taken the flooded bathroom floor and lack of electricity in the bathroom/bedroom when I first moved in as a bad omen but I gave Tanglewood the benefit of the doubt because maintenance was quick to "fix" the problem and things went smoothly for me inside my apartment at least for almost a year. Then everything went quickly downhill. I woke up to a flooded bathroom and no lights in the bathroom/bedroom one day to discover that water was leaking into my bathroom light fixture and then on to my floor when the bowl could no longer hold the water. I immediately file a maintenance request because this is a safety issue as well as a giant inconvenience. Maintenance doesn't come, and I have to call the office day after day until finally someone comes in and "fixes" the problem yet again. I'm pretty sure the office doesn't have a great line of communication with maintenance by the way because they kept telling me that they'd have to check with their maintenance lead everytime I called. Anyway a couple days later, same problem. This time, they take out a giant chunk of my ceiling so that they could take the time to figure out what the real problem was. Too bad once they supposedly figured out the issue, they forgot to patch my ceiling back up and I had to once again pester the front office until they sent someone. Fastforward a week, and the issue came again. At this point, I am livid and contact the manager of the property directly. This seemed to finally get some urgency on the issue, and this disaster led me to live in my apartment for one month wading through a flooded bathroom and no lights in half the apartment. And the front office never once even offered compensation for terrible living conditions. But hey at least they apologized for how incompetent their maintenance staff is. It seems they have water leakage problems around the building really because the parking lots have huge puddles in them when it rains, and water once poured into the fitness center from the ceiling while I was working out. Outside of my apartment, there were frequent breakins and management notified us with emails telling us to be vigilant of our surroundings. How about fixing the gate that opens to the complex so that it's not open 80% of the year. Trash is everywhere but they still expect residents to pay $28/month for a valet garbage service. The TVs in the fitness center didn't work, and the AC in there was out for a month with no one caring to fix it, the pool was gross, the dryer in the apartments don't dry clothes well, and packages/newspapers were frequently just dumped in front of the building so who knows who got what. Don't move here. There are so many better places in Houston for cheaper. read more

I have been living at Tanglewood at Voss off and on since 2009 and I absolutely love it. The property is upscale, well kept, quiet, and secure. What really shines about this property is the management and leasing staff. Any time you have a question or need something they are always happy and willing to help. I've lived in other apartments before where the management is only interested in collecting rent. The staff at Tanglewood At Voss really go above and beyond to establish relationships with their tenants which is totally awesome. As far as the property I don't really have any complaints. The only thing that I would suggest is if you want to park on your floor it's best to get a reserved parking spot as sometimes on the weekend and in the evenings it can get crowded so you have to park on another floor. It's really not a con or a negative but just something to keep in mind. The grounds of the property are well kept and you can tell that management takes pride in their property. I currently live in the West building and love it but have lived in the East building as well. Both sides are well equipped with really nice pools, grilles, gyms, resident lounges, and business centers. And they even offer free wifi for public areas, which is always nice when you're wanting to work by the pool for the day. As far as cost is concerned, this is the Galleria so it's definitely not the "cheapest" rent in Houston but for the area Tanglewood At Voss is very competitively priced and I consider it to be very affordable. Plus when you become a resident and/or renew your lease they are always running great promotions and concessions which really adds value to experience. Applying for an apartment is super simple and can be done all online. Cindy, Katie, Kelsey, and Chris make the process very easy and nothing is left to be guessed. I find the staff very easy to work with throughout the entire application and rental process and am pleased with their caring attitudes towards residents. Apart from all of this there's a wide selection of floor plans to fit every budget. I will say that I prefer to be on the first floor and have hardwood floors, but there's a floor plan and layout to fit everyone's taste. There's a reason why I keep coming back to Tanglewood at Voss and I've recommended several of my friends to the community and will keep doing so. So I love the apartment itself, the layout is perfect for my roommate and I, however, management sucks here. Our place got broken into on Wednesday and they said they would fix the door in the morning the next day. It is now Monday and our door has not been fixed and the office hasn't returned our phone calls. I actually spoke with someone yesterday and politely asked her to have the manager call one of us today. No phone call today hence this review. You have to continuously call the office and harass them to get anyone on the phone there. Oh and there's not really any security. read more

I would NOT recommend this apartment building. Every month they have to fix a water "leak". Last month we were without water for about 18 hours. This month the water has been off for 40 hours (and it's still not completed). That is a long time for a "luxury" apartment complex to deprive us of a basic required service. They obviously just hire the cheapest plumbing company (AAA Plumbers) who can't fix it and come back monthly. Management office totally unhelpful and rude about the situation. read more

I'm so disappointed, yes I read the reviews, but I thought, to each their own. I'm scheduled to move in on Tuesday, so I decided to pop up without calling. My apartment wasn't even ready!!!! When was the staff actually going to make sure everything was done. Kimmie said she wasn't there on Friday and everything was a mess!!! She could be there or not, everything would still be a mess!! So, you know you have to give, at least, a 2 month notice where ever you're renting, it's pretty standard and I did that and visited this property. I fell in love, instantly, with the unit that is 709 sq ft. I have been monitoring this complex ever since I visited this property. I'm told that my unit is higher because of the upgrades and I signed paperwork. I was completely conned....I've been looking at these apts since my initial visit!!! The price is much lower, but I can't get what's advertised because I have upgrades!!! How is carpet and tile an upgrade??? That's standard. I have my back against the wall, because I do have to move, but I have a call into corporate and am still waiting on a call back that was supposed to occur this afternoon. I'm curious as to why allllllllllllllllllllllllll of the apartments that are 709 sq ft rent is lowered, but just the one I'm interested in is the price it was when I originally visited????? What I saw in this apartment is standard!! The person at corporate said the unit is higher because of the pool view!!!! I'm like wth???? What type of "view" is that to be charged for??? I will post this every day until I receive fair and just treatment!!! I don't like dirty and already have a bad taste in my mouth regarding this place before I ever move in. Addendum.... I have found my out!!! I will so put a stop order on my deposit, money order style AND the date on this lease that I signed was 05.21.18. So invalid, I wasn't there on th at day and I signed nothing at all on this date. I did not accept a least from the complex on this day, which makes everything will and void. I'm still waiting to find out what the upgrades are, because everything I saw was standard. Carpet, title, black appliances and some type of refrigerator, that is NOT Upgrades. Like I said I was blown of when I questioned it, but I left there immediately knowing Kimmie tried to screw me!!!! The paperwork they have will not hold up in court. TANGLEWOOD AT VOSS BEDBUG INFESTED APARTMENTS, RICHDALE EMPLOYEES WILL CHEAT YOU AT ANY LEVEL. GET EVERYTHING ON WRITING. We had bug bites from the first day we moved in and raised complaints multiple times but Jamie and her team didn't log work orders for my calls. Before scheduling thermal treatment I asked Richdale corporate employee Breanna Clayton, who will pay for it and she said management will take care. Same day she sent an email about treatment steps and guidelines and there was no line in the email about the payments. Now after the treatment they sent 920$ bill and forcing me to pay that. NOW BREANNA CLAYTON IS LYING THAT SHE NEVER MENTIONED THAT MANAGEMENT WILL TAKE CARE OF THE PAYMENT AND SHE'S COMING UP WITH NEW FRAUDULENT EMAIL WHICH SAYS TENTANT HAVE TO PAY THE BILL. SHE DEFINITELY ADDED THAT LINE NOW AND FORWARDED TO HER SUPERIORS. The Email which I received didn't have those lines. I don't care about losing money but don't like to be cheated by these frauds. I couldn't believe that Richdale employees are ready to prepare fraud emails to cheat residents. I reached out to 3 levels of Richdale employees and no one is ready to listen. read more

I have lived at Tanglewood at Voss for 3+ years and I can't say enough good things about this place. The staff is AMAZING and always helpful. There have been many times they have gone above and beyond for me with things that are not part of their daily job. The property is beautiful and always clean. There are many things that they provide to their residents that definitely does not happen at other properties (free spin class, fitness bootcamp, resident parties). Tanglewood at Voss is in a GREAT location with quick access to all major freeways in Houston and is in a neighborhood that has so many great stores and eateries. read more

I've lived here for one year today and I definitely recommend this location. I have an updated 1 bedroom, 4th floor. After living in several apartments I've learned that issues can happen anywhere you go, but what matters is how management responds and upholds their end of the contract. For example: -I've had 2 issues with my A/C unit a few months apart and each time it was repaired (after hours) within an hour of calling maintenance. Jaime, the manager at the time called me the following day to make sure everything was taken care of. -While there is valet trash and each floor has a large garbage chute and a concealed dumpster on the first floor, some residents will still place their garbage right next to chute on the ground. It got a bit excessive and was occurring on each floor, I spoke to Jaimie about it and she was already aware of what was going on. Before the office closed, each chute area was spotless and their were signs posted reminding residents to not place garbage on the ground and we got an email about it. -With more and more delivery apps being developed residents are finding it convenient to give out the codes to the gates which unfortunately creates a safety issue and puts the code in hands of people that don't live here. In the past year management has changed all of the access codes twice (only accessible on the resident portal) to try to continue to keep access exclusive to residents. I study a lot and utilized the first floor lounge. It feels like a café and has a lot of seating, good lighting & complimentary coffee, tea & hot chocolate, Wifi, with a full kitchen. The gym is in great condition and routinely cleaned. I've never had any parking issues, but keep in mind that I follow all of the rules (visible resident tag, and I don't park in reserved areas). I've never seen the gate not in working order. The staff is very nice. Most of my interactions were with the previous manager Jaime and the leasing professional Sarah. Sarah is very kind, answers questions and follows up on what she says she will do. As management was changing there was a bit of confusion with the exact date of my move out but the current management made it a smooth transition. With hundreds of people living together the reality is issues happen, but in my experience over the past year management has always been on top of it. This was the easiest move in my girlfriend ever had! The leasing office got her approved and moved in in about a weeks time! Upon moving in here we're a few things that needed maintenance's attention they came by with in a few days and replaced the broken blinds a few light bulbs and repaired the floor. They are super cooperative with pets the only draw back is that the residents do not pick up after their dogs very well. But it is a short walk to a park around the block! read more

This is a beautiful property with a good management team! It's not perfect but what is, good place to live.

I have been living here for almost a year and I really like it. I previously lived in a luxury mid-rise inside the loop. I only moved because of the extremely high rent for luxury mid-rises inside of the loop. I found Tanglewood at Voss which was much much more affordable. The complex is not as nice as many "luxury" complexes in Houston, but it is a nice complex with affordable rent considering the area. My unit has granite counter tops and nice finishes. I have never had any issues with security. I have not had any issues with noise from apartment to apartment. Noise in the hallways can easily be heard from inside the units, but it is normally just people talking as they walk by. I have not had a problem with noise from people congregating in the hallways. The gym at my building has recently been updated. The tv room area is nice and clean. There is also a spin room in my building. All in all, I really enjoy living here and love how affordable it is for the West Galleria area. read more

This place has really gotten bad in the past year. There have been multiple break-ins (probably because the gate at the front breaks about once a week). The building frequently smells like weed, and at night, people tend to party on the roof of the parking garage. Not planning on renewing my lease here. read more

I have lived here for 2 yrs and year 1 was great with Lincoln but under the Richdale, its not good at all. The management dont do their task properly, fixes are only work arounds which hardly last for a day including light/water. In spite of that management team is very rude and dont even answer our questions. I would never go/recommend any richdale property going forward. read more

I moved into these apartments as last resort they are nice but the staff there is the worst they're are all nice to you when you first sign but the harassment that follows is unbelievable I spoke to them telling them I would be getting a dog in a month or so and the next day I get a letter about complaints when i haven't even gotten the dog then I get a letter saying I had 24 hours to pay 610 so I go next day to pay it and to tell them I don't even have the dog yet but I do it anyways thinking everything is fine and a week later I get a dog however I go into the office today to say hi how is it going and the leasing office agent didn't even say hi she starts demanding that I haven't payed the dog deposit when in fact I did..I had to go upstairs to my apartment and find the receipts and bring them to them and they accidentally never posted them..they lose all the paper work and are so rude after you sign worst of all the leasing agent spilled something on her pants I'm trying to smile to calm myself down and she's like don't just don't as if I'm laughing at her I didn't even notice she spilled something and she gets up and leaves in the middle of conversation to change and I'm sitting there for 10 minutes until another lady comes and just talks to me and she's says I'm done I can leave and I'm asking her different questions and the lady that left comes back and makes me sign things apparently I wasn't done they are so disorganized they will harass you if you put your trash one minute to early they give you a notice every little thing you do they will Harass you seriously if you want to live in a place that tells you you can't do this or that go for it and now apparently they install hardwood floors which I wanted at first but they didn't do and they charge you extra but they never tell the residents of anything then I asked the lady of this is true one agent says yes just got to talk to manager and the other says no not until your lease is up they don't even know what is true or not and now they close everything the business lounge early when you used to be able to access it at any hours I would study there but apparently not anymore they didn't even inform us..they don't care they just want money and if you move in here get ready to be harass especially if you have a pet or if you are breathing worst staff definitely considering not staying anymore I pay about 1300 for my one bedroom I deserve some respect and not to be terrified with what hidden charges will appear and what they keep and loose. Seriously if you can afford this rent go find a way way way better apartment they are so many in the area without a horrible irresponsible staff!!!! read more

These apartments are fantastic! I have been living here since I graduated college about five years ago and even now, after living in the Houston area for that long, I wouldn't have moved anywhere else. It is a great location, always kept immaculate and problem-free by their impeccable maintenance crew, and last but certainly not least Tanglewood At Voss has an amazing front office staff that will undoubtedly take care of your every apartment need. I would recommend this property. The apartments are clean and upgraded and haven't had any 2 roaches problem which is so common in Houston. The management lady in the office is very helpful. We had our kitchen bulb fused twice within a span of a week but it took no time to get it changed. Never had any problem !! all amenities close by so perfect place to live. read more
