We've been working with Cesar Galdamez, for over a year and a half at The Vue, and I honestly can't say enough good things about him. Cesar consistently delivers unbelievable customer service. Anytime we had an issue in our unit, his communication has been clear, and he worked around our availability and most importantly solved our maintenance issues properly. From fixing multiple clogs to replacing light fixtures, and additional maintenance needs washer/dryer, kitchen/dishwasher, he's on top of it! Cesar takes great pride in his work, follows through, and makes sure things are done right the first time. Cesar has made living here a much better experience, and he's a true asset to The Vue. Maintenance like this is hard to come by, and we're very grateful for everything he does. Highly recommended and very well deserved recognition! read more

We have lived here over 4 years, going on 5 in a few months. Overall we have loved living here. We love the community activities and the amenities. We do love Tim and Eric at the front! They are always so helpful and cheerful! I was hesitant about leaving this review but I wanted to make this known. There are a few things that I am disappointed about. 1st is the in-unit washers and dryers. I have to wash the load 2-3 times sometimes for it to come out rinsed enough to put into dryer. I have mentioned this situation on many occasions and they just ended up giving me a much older washer and dryer and they said they can't give me a replacement because this one technically is working. But to this day I still have issues with the Landry unit and it's to the point where I don't bother because they won't do anything about it. I asked for a new one and I wasn't able to get one from them. 2nd thing, we now pay about the same what a new person moving in would pay and they have all brand new renovated apartments and a brand new washer and dryer unit. Before renewing my lease this year, I asked them if they can at least change the carpet to vinyl flooring since all the new apartments have the vinyl flooring now. And I asked for a brand new washer and dryer. I was told that they are not doing any upgrades or small renovations to existing tenants, the most they would do is just wash the carpet. Almost a year ago they had come in to do some plumbing and pipe installation in the units where the washer and dryer is. And they left that wall unfinished and unpainted. I have brought it up multiple times and it's still not completed. Not sure why we, as the tenant, need to follow up on things that are not completed in the apartments. All this is upsetting because our rent increases yearly and that's what's makes it possible for a lot of the renovations that are occurring now for the new tenants. Then again, most sure if it's just us that are having these issues or it's with all existing tenants. 3rd is that this is a non smoking building. I have a toddler and this is a big deal to me so this was one of the main reasons we wanted to move in. But when walking from the parking garage to the entrance of the buildings the hallways are starting to smell more and more of marijuana. Just 2 days ago we left the patio door open and the room windows open and we left for a few hours and when we came back our home smelled like marijuana so much that I had to keep out toddler outside while we closed the windows and patio door and somehow aired out the smell. We looked out the window and saw someone standing in the patio smoking. I really hope these details help management because even thought we have had an overall great experience here these details are starting to outweigh everything else. The Picture and video is from Jan 20, 2023 it was already a few weeks that it was left like this and up until this day hasn't been fixed or painted. I was excited to move in 8 months ago. While the staff are pretty responsive and professional, I received a notice of rent increase. We are still settling in to our home and already have notice of a rent increase. It's pretty disappointing that corporations continue to want more and more. Very disheartening. I think we are good tenants, at least let us get comfortable. The hot water was off for at least 2 weeks within the short time I have lived here which they did fix, but it was still very inconvenient. The ac leaked water all over the place which spilled all over my rug, which they did fix. Look, I'm not going to trash the place, but there are things that can be improved like the outdated gym, the endless rules to name a few...Now they want more money... We spend 4k a month ... Not sure if we will renew.... -Just Plain Disappointed. read more

I absolutely love this place! Monica was amazing and super flexible when showing my sister and I some units to consider. I live across the street and It's beyond me how this building was built in 2008 and looks better than the one I currently live in which was built in 2020. This building was well built, sturdy, excellent finishes. The doors are good quality wood doors unlike my cardboard one ugh. The big difference in why this building is amazing is because they have an HOA and the staff that manages building is on top of maintaining its beauty. I toured the building and it feels like a beautiful resort in Miami Beach. The rooms are spacious, the balconies are huge and the views are stunning. Im currently working on convincing my husband to move here. The only draw back is the price. I know they have to keep up with the market but 4500 for 3 bedrooms is too much. The 2 bedroom is 3500, which is comparable to the one we are currently leasing. So if you have the money, choose The Veu over Harborfront 550. It is night and day! Again how is it possible that this building that was built in 2008, presents and smells better than the one I currently live in that was build in 2020! read more

I have a mother who complains a lot and, in an effort to even things out, I have only ever taken the time to write reviews if what I have to say is positive. Until now, I am disappointed to say. I was really impressed with this place when I first moved here. But the in-unit laundry machines are completely worthless, and everyone just shrugs or says there's a waitlist you can *maybe* be put on if you want new ones. I was also really disappointed by the fact that a small, personal cart I had just purchased for $100 went missing from the garage during the two hours I left it there. When I asked the staff about it, they said yeah, probably one of them took it but the entire building was warned months prior that no items were allowed in the parking garage, so they *could* take it and trash it if they wanted to. Sure, that may be true, but they know where I live, obviously, and have all my contact info. Most of them know I am recovering from a bad foot & back injury. A decent person would have called before stealing or trashing it. And, assuming it absolutely had to go, why leave the slew of other, less liftable items that have been all over the parking garage for months--including a stroller, 5g Arrowhead water jug, two traffic cones, and some concrete slabs the person who stole (or trashed) my cart literally had to climb over in order to do so? Finally, they up the rent by the maximum amount allowed by state law every year even when the exact same units are available on their website for less and the nearby buildings with similar amenities (and working laundry machines) are also less. Even in the most favorable of circumstances, upping the rent when they haven't delivered on the initial agreement (=working laundry machines) seems unreasonable to me, so much so that I have started looking at other places--which is *such* a bummer, because I really did like living here and I'd rather slide down a 50-ft razor blade into a pool of alcohol than move again read more

I've lived at The Vue for the last three years now and I must say that the current management/staff is by far the best. This current team is just that, a team. They work well together, communicate, and most of all listen. Our needs as tenants don't fall on def ears, things don't go days/weeks without being addressed, they are on top of things. But most of all, what is most impressive to me, is the way they handle conflict and or our bad attitude as tenants. At times we as tenants can be demanding but the team does a great job of hearing us out and coming up with tangible solutions. Some of the things this current management has added are, the building is always clean, there are activities for everyone to enjoy, such as kids play time, game nights, movie nights, and entrepreneurial events. This review is only for the leasing and tour experience as I haven't yet been accepted or moved in. My wife and I toured the property TWICE with Jessenia. Prior to our tours she was very communicative both over the phone and email. When we arrived yesterday she made us feel so welcome, took lots of time with us and answered all of our questions. We are making a big move so we contacted her this morning to ask if we could come back. She gave us a same day appointment and spent at least an hour with us today too. We hope to get accepted so we get to join the beautiful community that Vue seems to be. read more

I've been living at the VUE now for about a year. What attracted me to this place is obvious. The view! Lol. When it came time to pick which apartment I wanted to stay in, it was a very hard decision. There is a brand new unit across the street that had very comparable prices with newer build materials, such as hard wood floors, quartz counter tops, etc... I ultimately picked the VUE because it has more amenities, great parking structure, better views because it's higher up, but the most important factor for me is the staff! The 24 hour Concierge was the selling point. Not only do I feel safe that no one can just come in and knock on my door without permission, but the staff is so friendly. From the sales team, to the concierge, and all the maintenance staff as well! It feels like a tight family, where everyone looks out for each other! I will be resigning for another year. And probably many years to come! I highly recommend living here! read more

During my apartment hunt. I came across The Vue high-rise apartment homes in downtown San Pedro. The beautiful architecture and windows caught my attention. I contacted the leasing team, and was able to get a tour almost immediately! The apartments are so modern, stainless steel appliances, beautiful counter tops, in unit washer/dryer! Simply amazing! The patio views of the city & ocean are my favorite! The Vue offers so many amenities that I was looking for in my future home. (Pool, fitness center, Yoga & Pilates, sky lounge, clubhouse & more). Sadly I am not looking to move until my current lease is up in December 2021. I am looking forward to apply closer to my move-in date and make The Vue my future home!!!! read more

I do not recommended The Vue for families with children. This is supposed to be a non-smoking building but marijuana and cigarette smoking is rampant. I have complained countless times about the smell coming into my apartment and being unable to open windows without those smells coming in. I have put in a door draft stopper to try and keep the smell out but it's useless. Management has sent out notices to all resident about this being a non-smoking building and if they actually see someone they can say something but otherwise there is nothing they can do to stop it. The smell seems permanent, and people keep doing it. I get that that stuff is legal in California but smokers just force everyone around them to be subjected to that stuff it's not OK. The smell penetrates the walls and lives in the carpets. It's not OK that in your home you can't escape that. We were forced to move because this is just unacceptable for us. read more
