I googled nearby places to have lunch and this was the first place to pop up so i decided to give them a try, and I'm so glad I did I got the hot chicken and waffles with Buffalo sauce and it was absolutely amazing very fresh, well seasoned, the waffle was amazing and very unique it's definitely not your average waffle it's better!!! I also had a sweet tea to drink which was great as well I'm very picky about sweet tea and It was perfect they also have other flavors you can try. I will definitely be back with friends!!! I have been very curious to try this place since I moved to the area about 2 years ago. I finally tried it and I was an amazing experience! The restaurant is a cozy dinner and the vibes are positive. The server, Roberto, was warm, attentive, and welcoming. I got there right after the brunch rush around 12:30 and was able to enjoy a delicious and aesthetic cafe latte. I ordered the waffle taco and loved the combination of sweet and savory. The restaurant has a theme of inclusivity for all and that was evident in the signs, menu, and diversity of clientele. I will definitely be back and will be asking for Roberto again. I am looking forward to trying the rest of the menu and bringing more guests with me. read more

The menu looked like it was going to be a promising 5 star place, yet here im giving it 3. The specialty drinks are nice, but very very sweet. I had the caramel latte. It was definitely sweeter than other similar coffee drinks I've had. Skip the cheese dip and chips altogether. The chips were stale and the cheese had the consistency of baby formula or microwaved milk. It was very runny and bland. The waffle and ribs were good though. Between the main dish and the friendly service, it's getting 3 stars. Otherwise, it would probably get 2. I'd come back and try something different, as I'm sure this place has potential. Went there today and NEVER AGAIN. The service here is very bad (mind you they only had like 2 tables to serve beside ours) I never got a refill on my water until I had to ask for it. But that's besides my point here. I found a freaking ROACH in my tortilla soup he didn't apologize right then and there when I pointed it out but instead left came back and said he was sorry about that and if I wanted a new batch or just my check... -First and far most THROW THE WHOLE BATCH AWAY why ask for a new serving when a rich obviously was in the whole entire batch. This is our second time here. Their internet was down so they were only able to accept cash, but they made sure we were aware before we were seated. They had lots of customers but we didn't have to wait long to place or receive our order. Their coffee is really good and served in a gigantic mug. I had the egg tacos which I thought were delicious. We went here because it was right off the freeway . I had an omelette that was decent and my friend had waffle and chicken. For being a waffle place the waffle was a poor representation! Looked like a bigger Eggo waffle and she said tasted equally bad...The chicken was good. My real problem was the server. Her hair was long and down. It was in front of her shoulders and when she walked up with my plate her hair was hanging on the plate All restaurant servers should have their hair back! Not acceptable. Would give 0 stars if possible. Service was horrible and slow. Our server waited about 10 minutes to greet us, took another 10 on our drinks. My partner ordered two pancakes which sat out for 15 minutes, they were dry and so rubbery he could barely cut them. He asked for extra butter twice, we saw our server grab a handful, then have him 1. Oh and before she even went to grab it she was talking to her friends and it took several minutes to even get it. She then tried to charge us for someone else's tab, and when we didn't tip her for doing less than the bare minimum she was glaring at us. The Cashier went on and told them it wasn't enough the customer replied "Make it enough". My husband and I are from New Orleans and we were excited to try a new breakfast place. Upon arriving, we were told to wait a minute for a table. We ordered and sat at a 6 top table, because that was the only table available. A larger family walks in and we are asked to give up our table or sit outside in 46 degree weather. We politely say no and minutes later are approached again and asked to moved to a smaller table. We wanted to be polite, so we agreed and the larger family moved to our table, that ordered AFTER US. Within minutes they are brought their drinks with us left with nothing. It was highly unprofessional and needless to say we requested our money back and left. So, I had their signature dish, the Waffle Taco. It was good. It's not necessarily a taco because you can't pick it up to eat it but the concept is there. After mixing the green sauce with the slightly sweet and spicy sauce it was even better. The cheap syrup was never opened. I wouldn't use it because it's synthetic and more of a disrespect to a good waffle to me than it's worth. Now let's talk about the fails here. First, I asked for orange juice. The server said they don't have orange juice, even though it's one of two items non soda on their menu. So I ordered water without ice. I mentioned no ice 3 times to make sure. I got ice water and then another cup with ice. So then I had to ask again. That's a fail. Next fail. My girlfriend ordered two identical plates with two different cooking temperatures on the eggs. One for her and one for her mother. This should be easy right!? One had sunny side up eggs. The other had over easy eggs. When the plates came out, both of them had over east eggs. The guy that delivered them said, "who had the over medium eggs?" After seeing both plates, both eggs were cooked identical. So, if you Can't cook eggs, don't promote a "Breakfast item" as your main marketing. The place is called The Waffle Taco. Waffles are traditionally known as a Breakfast item. They offer Eggs on the menu. Don't ask how we want them cooked if it's going to come out the same. To validate my argument, I also heard the table in front of me complain about how they asked for their eggs to be cooked but they came out differently. Eggs are easy enough to cook properly, so why are they failing on the one item that is ordered to specific style. I give them 3 stars based off of restaurant style, concept, and cleanliness. But none for service or food. The food was ok, not exceptional. Worth a try once and never again. read more
