This is a quaint little breakfast place with a unique menu, a combination of breakfast and lunch in one plate. I got the two eggs and waffle, it was decent but I felt that the price was a little high for the portion. Our server brought over a ton of rams of sour cream and limes that we didn't ask for and charged us for everything (limes were 1.25 and each sour cream was 1.25 each as well.) we tried to explain that we did not order these but they don't understand English well so we just left. Found this spot on Door Dash and didn't know what to make of it. The name is kinda funny and the entrees and specialties sounded great but uncommon- when I tell y'all my mind was COMPLETELY BLOWN! So I had such high hopes for this place but...yikes. Their name is Waffle Taco, has pictures of waffle tacos on their signage, yet does not serve waffle tacos on their menu. I had their chicken and waffles and it just was not good especially for the price. It was about $40 just for two adults. There are definitely better places to go in Nash for that price. read more

This place is possibly one of the best spots in Antioch. I'd actually like to leave 4.5 stars because the customer service is amazing and so was the atmosphere, but the prices on the food was a bit on the high side. I would recommend coming to enjoy a great made meal from here, just don't get blindsided by the price. Gets 2 stars food is great however the service is absolute horrific. It baffles me that the service is that bad, this was my 2nd time going to brunch here. And both times the food has been great but the service literally only gets worst. This place has so much potential but the lack of work and laziness due to the service completely kills it. Like since you don't get free refills on drinks after paying $4 for a soft drink, you should at least be able to grab a water instead of having to swallow your spit because your server straight up won't refill your drink. This place is awesome. I had the chilaquiles with chorizo and had to bring over half of it home cause it was so big. Super flavorful and fresh with house made tortilla chips. My husband had the steak and eggs with hash browns. The steak was marinated and juicy and cooked perfectly. Their coffee cups are bigger than any other breakfast place I've ever been to. The music was a little loud, but I'm sure they would have turned it down if we'd asked. We can't wait to go back for lunch or dinner. read more

UNDERWHELMING to say the least. We ordered the pork belly tacos and shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were ok. However, the pork belly tacos were ok as well but the pork belly was really dry and it tasted like tastless burnt cripy rib tips. The sour cream that accompanied the tacos was odd. I had high hope for this spot! The service was terrible and slow for a low crowd. No syrup on the tables and no one came to refill it. The unsweet tea was same price as a deluxe sweet peach tea and it had no peach flavor I it! The waffles are flat and dry and chicken is extra battered and hard! I would have hope for a Saturday morning they'd be prepared for customers, but all I saw was walking around not cleaning off tables for people to be seated. Sorry! I kept passing this place because it is replaced an old Waffle House. I am blown away. The food choices are amazing, the food portions are generous (to say the least), and the taste and freshness could not be better. The service was impeccible. Thank you for choosing my neighborhood for your business. This is the best breakfast and lunch place I have been to in Nashville. We had the Mexican chorizo omelette, and the breakfast Taco Waffle. We would recommend both. Next time it will be the waffles and hot chicken.
